It is easy to throw the coaching staff under the bus, venting our frustrations for their schemes, play calling, etc. However, we have to take the simple fact that it’s another loss to Ohio, has difficult as it is. Taking this loss out of the equation allows us to focus on the positives and the future;
1. The coaching staff has some great coaches on it.
2. This staff has produced big wins in the past 3 years.
3. The Team is young.
4. The Team played an outstanding game Saturday, displaying pride, fortitude and great athleticism.
5. The recruiting seems to be on track.
Therefore, the totality suggests that we need to stay optimistic and let the Ohio grudge gnaw at our souls until we rejoice in the inevitable victory. Hopefully sooner than later

I agree the formations are predictable. He needs to implement some motions, exchanges and trades to disguise the formation. Get the LB and safeties moving around and out of position, thus getting more blockers in positions and catching the LBs and safeties in broken coverage. Just a thought…

A great coach once said, “There’s no substitute for speed of the football field.” Let the kids run and make plays.
