Just goes to show what a strong, dedicated alumni fan base can do for a program.

The current generation of students had to have played roller coaster tycoon growing up right? Proper queuing should be second nature.

D: "Where's Wallace Stringer? Where the fuck is Wallace?!?"
Stringer: "Well the kids I told to go kill him reported that he set himself on fire and flew away when they pulled a gun on him."
D: "....Oh....Ok then....nevermind."

The north facade of North Quad (formerly the Frieze building) is still the same. I remeber the push to keep the facade by townies and alumni alike leading to the strange demo/constuction where the facade was the only thing standing for months on end.

I would like to know what an unhealthy relationship with vlookup manifests as. Does your computer shock you with a thousand volts if your column isnt in alphabetical order?

Zak Irvin has such a nerdy vibe going on. Fast talking, sounds like he is talking through his nose, awkward grinning. Put a smile on my face.

So SIAP, but I think one thing to consider is if you truly have your heart set on math/science/engineering think carefully of who you have write your letters of recommendation. For instance, just because your english teacher was your favorite teacher of all time and he/she would write the most bitching letter of recommendation doesn't mean they are the best to ask. Seek out someone who knows your aptitude and dedication to the core classes required for your desired major. Letters of recommendation and essays are the elements that make you more than just a list of stats and activities on your application.
For a personal example I applied to the engineering school with an interest in Chemical Engineering and got one of my letters of recommendation from my AP chemistry teacher, who also happened to be a former chemical engineer at Dow Chemical before she switched professions. I applied as soon as I could (which I strongly reccomend BTW) around the beginning of October, and I got my acceptance letter just in time to share the news over Thanksgiving dinner with my family.
I should disclose that my situation should not be considered typical as I am a townie with a long history of family who went to Michigan, as well as other connections through growing up here to the university.
Anyway good luck and Go Blue!

In the article it states that he has been playing most of his snaps at the end position, opposite of Mario Williams. The author also praises his versatility saying that he is fully capable of lining up at NT, and has on occasion.
To be fair I have never watched a Bills game Bills this season so I'm just goin by the article.

As a townie I have always loved the history of Ann Arbor.
In regards to moving the operations to another part of campus the rumor of relocating to NCRC (as guessed a few posts above) has been floating around but it is very much just an idea. Granted the people having these ideas have power and sway within the university but an idea can be summarily squashed by many internal political forces.
|14 weeks 2 days ago||I did a quick Google search||
And the buildings adjacent to the railroad tracks actually pre-date Michigan Stadium.
Hoover Ball and Bearing was opened in 1913 well before the Big House was built in 1927.
Some more info here:
Suprisingly there was a day and age when athletics were an afterthought economically.
|14 weeks 2 days ago||I currently work in Plant Ops||
The collection of buildings that sit between the railroad tracks and the blue lot adjacent to the stadium used to be ball bearing plant before it was acquired by the University. The name of company escapes me and this acquisition happened well before my time.
Anyway the point is that many of assets that were useful when it was a ball bearing plant were reused in way that suits the plant operations department. For instance, the university moving and trucking department makes great use of the existing loading dock. There are many more trades and departments housed here that all "Make Blue Go" (the Plant Operations slogan).
That being said, one of the running jokes around the office is that the athletic department has always had their eyes on the property and is just waiting for the right time to kick everyone out and level the place to accommodate their grand design. Unfortunately the buildings are also home to the Architecture, Engineering and Construction department who would ultimately have to approve their own eviction...

Not to mention a warrior on the gridiron.
Devin, you deserve all the praise that is given to you. I wish, for both our sakes, that your effort had been rewarded today but alas it was not.

I would have gone with the RDT approach. Post the question with a pseudo-account and then come in with your real account to defend the OP. As long as you don't mix your accounts up it works like a charm.

in terms of thier academic prowess and rankings. If I remember correctly they have a very high number of national merit scholars enrolled year in and year out.
As far as thier ranking in engineering your guess is as good as mine though it doesnt suprise me to see them high on lots of different lists.
|19 weeks 1 day ago||There are not individual tutors in CoE||
And as a graduate of UofM College of Engineering I think it should be that way. If you need someone to hold your hand through four years of engineering curriculum you really shouldn't be an engineer in the real world.
That being said there are many opportunities/people/groups that are available and willing to help students when it comes it to tutoring but it might not be at the same level that Alabama alocates to thier student athletes.
