predictions? Is this what happens when you are paralyzed for days by a black and white dream about not being the smartest guy in the class. Is this getting ahead of the story or building the story that you hope to write? You know the one about Brandon and Hoke being dropped from a jet without parachutes and landing on the 50 yard line in front of 100,000+ grateful fans?
|15 hours 50 min ago||How about starting||
with an understanding of what a Michigan man is? It has nothing to do with where you come from and everything about believing Michigan is the very best place to be (for a coach) and reaching your potential as an athlete and man (for a player).
|1 day 16 hours ago||Exactly. Not one||
of those kids would blame Hoke for the interception, fumble and misplay on the short kick. They would blame themselves and those are the 3 reasons the score was what it was.
|2 days 17 hours ago||That's unfortunate||
and basically just disrespectful. Hoke is a good man. If he doesn't make it at Michigan it won't be for lack of heart or love for the program. The bs he's subjected to from supposedly knowledgeable fans ultimately reflects on the fan who I doubt lives up to half the standards they set for others.
|2 days 20 hours ago||Webber isn't||
going to apologize. He thought then like now that it was all about him. I love him in his post-playing career but there is no way around he was a kid molded by excessive adulation. Jalen and Howard came from much tougher circumstances and yet it's Webber, a middle class kid, who wants to play the poor, exploited athlete.

to ignore his national profile and rape accusations and find this so funny he needed to share it from a public table top.
|5 days 22 hours ago||I don't see nuthin'||
but a player on the field.
|6 days 15 hours ago||They talked about||
that on the radio...GM was showing a lot of looks today.
|6 days 15 hours ago||I say screwed only||
because they were inconsistent. Start it whenever but for both teams.
|6 days 15 hours ago||Not true.||
Did you see Eli Manning Monday? I'm not saying DG is trying to command that complex of a system but he's clearly not operating instinctively which tells me he's too much in his head. If he'd been playing in the same system for 2+ years I'd agree with you but this is basically year one for him with a real QB focused coach. And worse he's having to unlearn half of what he did just to survive last season.
|6 days 17 hours ago||I love DG but||
he seems tentative or maybe too much in his head. I don't know, maybe it's PTSD from getting the hell beat out of him last season. Then again, he gave me that feeling early last year.
I see a lot of old Michigan in this offense...if they can run the ball they will succeed.
|6 days 17 hours ago||They got||
screwed on the start of the clock. Sane situation for Miami in second half they started as they lined up. Still someone on the sidelines should have noticed.
|6 days 18 hours ago||Henne was||
plugged into a system that had been in place for years and was dumbed down to keep pressure off him. Morris wouldn't have that advantage.
|6 days 19 hours ago||Right the ENTIRE||
staff is in over their heads. I mean come on man.
|1 week 2 days ago||I am not||
sure why the video mattered...how did they think the woman was made unconscious? I mean, did it really take a video? Sterling was made to sell his team over hurtful words...he didn't physically or monetarily hurt a single person in the NBA. The NBA knew damn well that Sterling had been charged with racial discrimination in other business pursuits, actions that actually hurt people.
I don't have much respect for the sincerity of either league. It's all about what they can get away with until it costs too much.
|1 week 2 days ago||Name the game||
to game injuries that Beilein has talked about? The fact is he was very coy about Mitch until he had surgery. Beyond that he hasn't had much to talk to the press about.

for your service and sharing some well earned wisdom.
|1 week 3 days ago||I wonder if NDs||
quick time outs were to adjust to Pepper's absence. Look though, I don't want to blast anybody, but they had to depend on the defense to protect the offense. Putting a young OL and QB learning his third new system in five years on that stage in a hole sealed the game. All of the hand wringing and ranting is way over the top. If I had any criticism it would be that Michigan didn't go into some kind of two minute drill when they got down by two scores. They had to know that a score was vital.
|1 week 3 days ago||Come on...||
if you're a defensive coordinator up 14 points against a young, inexperienced line in its first year of a system you have a huge advantage. The only thing that matters about the ND game is how Michigan uses it to improve.
|1 week 4 days ago||I remember first||
encountering a person who hated Michigan, specifically Michigan football. After reading this thread I might finally see his point.
I mean damn...this fan as victim attitude is pathetic. Where in the world does that come from? Is it because you weren't entertained? Is it because your identity is tied up in the success of a football team? I don't get it at all.
|1 week 4 days ago||It is amazing.||
And it is embarrassing. Hoke after big wins his first season always said it was about the players. Now he says it and fans take offense?
|1 week 4 days ago||Hoke has a better||
recruiting and coaching resume than probably everyone on this board.
|1 week 5 days ago||The only thing||
worse than the critiques by people who haven't played/coached/held a water bottle at a high level are those by former players who should know all they don't know.
|1 week 5 days ago||I'm sure a guy||
with his eye on a head coaching job left Alabama to work for an inept dictator who would control his every move.

|1 week 5 days ago||It seems to me||
that a lot of fans couldn't wait to run Carr out of town. A lot of that had to do with his record against Ohio State...a program led by a cheat. That "win at any cost" is missing.
Number 2, a lot of fans don't want to admit how far the program had fallen. It was running on fumes the last few years of Carr who wanted out. He wasn't about the future and Rodriguez wasn't about the past. The program basically went backward under Rodriguez who had no idea how to keep the energy of the culture on his side while progressing.
In walks Hoke to years of neglect. It wasn't a Meyer situation who inherited a roster of top recruits. It was a situation in shambles. Players weren't connected by traditional theme or scheme. He did well his first year led by a couple of senior defensive players recruited by Carr.
I disagree with most here. I think Hoke has done a hell of a job rebuilding. If he can't translate that to wins he may be gone BUT the program is in a hell of a better place than when he started.
|1 week 6 days ago||This team lacks||
playmakers. It's tougher on offense because of the line but what's the excuse on defense? In the first half they blew multiple tackles for a loss chances. Those are the plays that stuff momentum.
I still think it's a lack of upperclassmen leadership. Without those few big play guys the team quickly becomes tentative and fearful of mistakes.
|1 week 6 days ago||The new President||
doesn't identify with the football team. But you go right ahead and give him a call.
|1 week 6 days ago||Thank you.||
I am generally finding so-called Michigan fans more disgusting than Hoke.
|1 week 6 days ago||Damn...where is||
all of the tight coverage I read about. The DBs are playing soft. And now ND is just taking advantage of Michigan's tentativeness.
