|9 hours 30 min ago||He's declined||
slowly over the last 3 or so years. The key for him is if he can learn to pitch without an upper 90s fastball. Other pitchers have but I am not sure he's got it in him.
|2 days 12 hours ago||Great news.||
I really like how many of the softball players salute the university. It is an integral part of their motivation and pride.
|1 week 9 hours ago||That's a pretty||
serious allegation to post naked of any specifics. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if Alexander made some missteps.
|1 week 1 day ago||That's good||
school weather, in a city with things to do. Summer is for the beach.
|1 week 2 days ago||It will be a bit||
hypocritical when he treats a player differently or fans bitch about another program's handling of a similar situation or we refer to Michigan's standards/expectations as being higher. Usually there is one right way and a million excuses for choosing a different path.
|1 week 3 days ago||It's indisputable||
that he develops talent. The question is if his system stymies the development of NBA skills. I don't see it, at least for guards/wings. A guy who is more athletic or skilled would flourish.
|1 week 4 days ago||I have to agree.||
If he has a problem with alcohol, the least should have been a leave of absence and treatment center. As I've been told Moeller wouldn't agree to that course and lost his job as a result.
|1 week 4 days ago||It's tough for me||
to understand how an adult consumes that amount of alcohol and gets in a car. I don't think someone who doesn't regularly drink could have that much alcohol and reasonably function.
|1 week 5 days ago||So kids who make||
their decisions quickly should be punished? It seems a lot of people here were pissed that Battle ate up an offer just to buy himself some time but you are suggesting that it's okay for coaches to use kids that way? What about Weber and all of the ranting that caused...they hid a coaching change not a plan to pull an offer.
|1 week 5 days ago||Sorry but||
that's the way a group of coaches that everybody here rushes to condemn play the game. If that's what Harbaugh and Michigan aspire to then fine...but let's also drop the BS about caring about the kids, the Michigan difference and all the rest.
|1 week 5 days ago||This was a very||
disappointing read. What else can be said. No amount of winning ever makes up for the loss of integrity and advertised values.
|1 week 6 days ago||Trust? You||
operate on a string, all making the same read, individually only having to focus on your assignment.
That's my definition.
|1 week 6 days ago||If this is a stupid||
move for the Knicks then it's twice as likely that they pull the trigger.
|1 week 6 days ago||I'm okay||
with that. He's hurt the program to one degree or another by trying to manage his options. I get why a kid would do that but I also understand a kid that would do that doesn't fit.
|1 week 6 days ago||So they don't||
know if the offer Michigan is still good?
|1 week 6 days ago||I don't understand||
Beilein's striking out on some of these guys unless he's seen as a mid-major type, system coach. Izzo seems like a complete jerk on the sidelines who rarely makes a guy better.
Having said that, I'll take Beilein, his eye for talent and his ability to add * to a player once he hits Ann Arbor.
|2 weeks 3 hours ago||Personally I||
don't think it's okay to mock Michigan players...a former Michigan LB I know could fill in more but he's never been inclined.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||What great||
news for her. I really wish professional softball would get more coverage. It's a good game unlike the WNBA. MLB should look into some sort of partnership/promotion.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||So why is it||
alleged that Harbaugh wouldn't return to AA if Brandon was AD?
|4 weeks 1 hour ago||On James?||
It does my heart good.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||And they may have||
gotten to her game 2 like they did tonight.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||At the||
post game presser Wagner said she wanted to wear her jersey as long as she could, to the very last possible game. She went on to say that she might not ever wear the jersey again but that she would always be a Wolverine.
I can't think of a better representative of Michigan athletics. I know how disappointed she is but if not for her, she would not have had the last possible game to put on her uniform.
Go Blue. And go Wagner. And go Mitch. Always Wolverines.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||Softballs||
aren't actually soft.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||Really? How many||
championship games did they lead Michigan to?
|4 weeks 4 days ago||Funny, he||
said he didn't expect anything this week.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||Hockey?||
No way. I want to see Wagner's last game as a Wolverine end with the trophy.
|4 weeks 5 days ago||I didn't think||
Betsa was that bad last night. The HR came off nearly an ankle high pitch. Maybe that's the batter's zone and they didn't want it there...that I don't know. Minus that mistake pitch or great at bat (however you look at it) she gave up 1 run. Wagner just appears dominating though getting more swings and misses and quick innings.
|4 weeks 6 days ago||Florida's HR||
was off a pitch nearly at the batter's ankles. I don't fault the pitcher for that. As for Burke...it was the right call and the same call most coaches would make unless they were in danger of getting so far down they couldn't recover.
|4 weeks 6 days ago||I don't think||
she did. She should have taken an aggressive but controlled lead with the pitch and taken off as soon as she saw the ball get past the pitcher. It's a tough play though. It was so hard that I think she thought she'd be thrown out at home.
|4 weeks 6 days ago||She has to go almost||
at the crack of the bat. That ball was hit hard, they might have had a play at the plate.
