We do know, by memory and by the clip below...injuries. |

You nailed it. |

Unfortunately I agree. It is such a love/hate when it comes to my view of him. |
| 3 weeks 4 days ago | Good pickup, at least from |
Good pickup, at least from the little known about him. I don't undervalue the role these guys play in the program's consistency and resiliency. |
| 3 weeks 4 days ago | I say, AND NOT BECAUSE I |
I say, AND NOT BECAUSE I AGREE WITH HIM, good for him for expressing his beliefs. Let his views be marginalized by the onward march of culture not fear or censorship.

| 4 weeks 6 days ago | Thank you for your service. I saw that clip |
Thank you for your service. I saw that clip with my 5 and 7 year old nieces and it made me a bit uncomfortable. Call me old fashioned. |
| 5 weeks 13 hours ago | I am really going to miss |
I am really going to miss this team. I don't know that I've ever followed a team that so often just had me with nothing to do but smile as I watched. Oh, and great video. |
| 5 weeks 1 day ago | I completely agree. Stauskas |
I completely agree. Stauskas has a lot of work to do this off-season. LeVert does too but I think in addition to his natural talent edge he's more versatile. Moreover, as you said, I expect Irvin to be the starter which is going to make Caris' defense, ball handling and ability to run the offense a more valuable first off the bench option. |
| 5 weeks 1 day ago | What happens if Beilein ends |
What happens if Beilein ends up with the same problem he had this season...his best 5 players are a PF, 3 SF/SGs and a PG? And I hope he makes the same decision...go with the lineup that wins. |
| 5 weeks 1 day ago | No, the move is being made |
No, the move is being made because they expect to have the roster balance and talent distribution to make it work. They didn't have a better option at 4 to start this season, McGary wasn't prepared (injury and conditioning) to play many minutes, let alone PF. Horford's early injury further jammed up any plans. |
| 5 weeks 2 days ago | I never thought Mitch would leave. The joint |
I never thought Mitch would leave. The joint press conference seems like a good time for the new faces of the program to announce they are coming back to lead the team next season. |

Good god...I can't even imagine. |
| 5 weeks 3 days ago | He disappeared only if you measure productivity by |
He disappeared only if you measure productivity by a box score. He was a team leader, a calming influence, the second scorer focus of defenses that helped open up opportunities for Robinson and Stauskas, etc. He will be missed. |
| 5 weeks 3 days ago | I think a part of the |
I think a part of the Hardaway Most Improved Award was earned by his attitude. There was no head hanging and no losing his guy on defense after a bad offensive sequence. He stepped up and with Trey, helped fill the leadership void left by Stu and Novak's graduation. |

Is there a way to donate other than FB? |
| 6 weeks 15 hours ago | I didn't think they got |
I didn't think they got signing bonuses as rookies. If I remember right there is a rookie pay scale, with something like a $2.5 million annual gap between the first and tenth pick. Your point remains though, it would take a long time to make that kind of money in the pedestrian world. If you go in the first round you are looking at close to $2 million for two years, before the team option and then the player option kicks in. |
| 6 weeks 21 hours ago | In his post-game comments following the last game |
In his post-game comments following the last game Trey talked about his relationship with Beilein. It seemed clear that he has learned a lot and understands now what Beilein was trying to teach him. It sounded like what was once a source of frustration has turned into a strength and he said he would always love JB. All this is to say only that Trey will make sure his decision is sound, he loves his coach and teammates in a way he didn't last year. I think he will leave but I respect the hell out of his maturity and thoughtfulness. |
| 6 weeks 4 days ago | Michigan allowed a man to |
Michigan allowed a man to single handedly close the point gap...a gap that was built single handedly by Spike. And I wouldn't be complaining about Hardaway. Unfortunately it was Robinson's man who had 15 points and a dozen rebounds. |
| 6 weeks 4 days ago | I think it would have been |
I think it would have been stupid to put Burke back in and risk either a third foul or tentative defense. |
| 6 weeks 4 days ago | Louisville makes runs, that's what they do. |
Louisville makes runs, that's what they do. Michigan up with Burke sitting and now he can go all out the second half. And Louisville doesn't have the benefit to adjust to a Burke led offense at the half. |
| 6 weeks 5 days ago | If nobody on Michigan's team takes Martin's money |
If nobody on Michigan's team takes Martin's money then there is no problem for Michigan. |
| 6 weeks 5 days ago | I don't get this either. We |
I don't get this either. We are going to hear over and over about how many years it's been since Michigan was in the finals...and some want to celebrate the main actor in causing the long, dark era that followed the Fab Five? |
| 6 weeks 5 days ago | After listening to Jalen |
After listening to Jalen discuss how it's his belief that Webber wants to disassociate himself with his college career, I don't really think it would be that cool. And I don't think it would be a great sports moment, it would remind me of the reception Tressel got last season. I'm not saying to hate Webber because I don't, but I don't like how he's handled any of this. He ought to have more of a part in reconciliation than showing up at a moment arguably long delayed in a large part because of him. |
| 6 weeks 6 days ago | I've thought since the moment |
I've thought since the moment Beilein decided not to redshirt LeVert that he was coaching for a national championship. That choice, along with the way they have developed McGary through the season have been brilliant. |
| 6 weeks 6 days ago | I'm not sure how anyone could |
I'm not sure how anyone could question what Burke did last night or throughout the tournament. Unlike various times during the season, he hasn't dominated the ball, he's moved it around, controlled pace, made excellent decisions off the pick and roll, drawn defenders and found the open man, etc. Every team they have faced has focused on taking him out of the game and yet he's continued to play controlled, not forcing shots, particularly last night. And let's not forget the defensive job he did on Carter-Williams who had 6 inches and an attitude on him. |
| 6 weeks 6 days ago | Don't let the closing minutes |
Don't let the closing minutes cloud your opinion. Michigan didn't have any timeouts, were subbing every possession and fighting both half court pressure and an extended zone trying to get steals. All in all, except for the FTs, they got through it just fine. Certainly better than Kansas did. |

Cute girls. |
| 6 weeks 6 days ago | I've got my lucky long sleeve |
I've got my lucky long sleeve Michigan shirt on, haven't washed it since SDSU. Go Blue. We aren't ready to say goodbye Trey. |
| 7 weeks 4 hours ago | I guess I'd prefer not to |
I guess I'd prefer not to think about the reasons why they are watching movies and having offerings like Basketball Culture at the University of Michigan. |
| 7 weeks 12 hours ago | I don't know, Prince made |
I don't know, Prince made himself a pretty good defender with the Pistons largely because of his length. I think it does help Syracuse in terms of tightening passing lanes and angles and probably a bit when they are running at a shooter trying to disrupt their shot. Having said that, I think while Syracuse seems to be dreaming about their next game, Michigan is about to become their worst nightmare. Give Beilein time to prepare, give him shooters with some quicks (something he's not had against Syracuse in the past) and give him a game that requires fundamentals (right pass, patience, good shots) and I think he'll not only solve the zone but if his defense shows up, he'll do it comfortably. |
