|1 hour 40 min ago||As much as I love Trey and as||
As much as I love Trey and as much as I wanted the Pistons to pick him, after watching him in a few summer league games I thought maybe Dumars was right. You would have thought I would have known better.
|2 hours 30 min ago||I think||
Caris would be the choice too. JB needs to get his offense in order and Caris seems to be the guy who can see the floor well along with create his own shot. Beilein likes his intelligence.
|2 hours 57 min ago||I agree.||
I think it's bad form to call out guys like that.
|3 hours 3 min ago||Ummm, how||
do you unleash it? They need turnovers or stops neither of which were plentiful last night.
|5 hours 37 min ago||They aren't||
|5 hours 39 min ago||How many||
of those schools would like to recruit like Hoke has? Believe it or not but Hoke is trying to make some major repairs to a program that had slowed down and then went off road.
|6 hours 5 min ago||Based on emotion||
I would go with Lewan for coming back and never hanging his head or sitting down through all of the criticism and on-field trouble.
|7 hours 33 min ago||Stauskas doesn't||
work hard to get free. Much of his game against better competition relies on being forgotten as the third or fourth option. Hardaway was smothered last season and still worked his ass off to get touches and help open other shots.
|9 hours 51 min ago||That's not true,||
he was successful because he looked to drive and challenge Duke's defense. He worked hard, including cutting hard.
|9 hours 53 min ago||JB hasn't been||
running his so-called system for 3 years...at best it's been significantly modified.
|1 day 32 min ago||I wouldn't||
say he covered up flaws but rather he got the ball to guys in the spots they wanted. And he wasn't afraid to keep his dribble while waiting for a play to develop. Still, I remember Michigan struggling when their transition game was contained.
|1 day 1 hour ago||From everything||
I've read Stauskas looked good at practice and the shoot around. I don't think his ankle is responsible. Duke made a point of stopping him and he just seemed to accept that (I don't think he works hard to get open).
|1 day 1 hour ago||Are you kidding?||
That's pretty far off the mark.
|1 day 3 hours ago||Not true.||
The Wolverines are play in good defense.
|1 day 3 hours ago||Duke||
would have 5 too without the refs.
|1 day 3 hours ago||Agreed.||
I like their defense so far though.
|1 day 3 hours ago||I don't think||
I can take this pathetic reffing.
|2 days 7 hours ago||Pump||
fake and he had Gallon. Even without he had him if led him.
|2 days 11 hours ago||Brian...||
thanks for a great read. A season of too little good has made us gloomy and too often sent us (the collective) to opposite corners. The world seems a little "righter" today.
|2 days 12 hours ago||And to that||
I don't think there is a single answer. Again, I point to the press conferences when he talked about how they execute in practice and how things breakdown real time. That's what happens with inexperience and when kids are slowed by over thinking or don't have the reservoir of confidence that reps and experience bring. And each week is something different.
|2 days 14 hours ago||I am not||
sure how you can make wholesale assessments given the season. There were games the offense clicked and games it looked just awful. I am certain there are multiple factors responsible. People hate Borges but in the presser last week he described what he considered the problems to be out of the Iowa game (out of synch and individual breakdowns). He said when they get it right they are a pretty damn good offense. Players talked after Saturday about their individual focus and preparation. I still think this is a young team learning what it takes.
|3 days 2 hours ago||Add to that a love of||
Add to that a love of Michigan above all others and you have what makes a Michigan Man. It seems to often be misunderstood here.
|3 days 6 hours ago||Good call.||
I thought it was a good call. I suspect DG was to make a decision based on who defenders followed. I would have loved to have seen him pump fake to Dileo and then gone to the wide open Gallon.
|4 days 4 hours ago||Of the few names that have||
Of the few names that have popped up here he would be my favorite.
|4 days 7 hours ago||Really?||
I think he's awful and adds little to a broadcast. FB always had a story, from Michigan history or a chat with a coach.
|4 days 8 hours ago||They said on||
the radio that DG wen over to the OL after getting banged up and said he was going to need them. He then proceeded to go out and throw some incredible passes and make a critical first down run...injured and all.
That was an amazing effort.
|4 days 8 hours ago||Not a moral||
victory but confirmation the team is going in the right direction. That's worth something.
|4 days 8 hours ago||Unless he||
lost the team during the skid I don't see the point of firing him. And I frankly don't see why a guy who has produced a couple of record setting games this season be a target when the defense has had no such games and is given a pass.
|4 days 8 hours ago||I will miss||
|4 days 9 hours ago||There have been||
flashes (how many 40+ games did he have) before the skid? Unless he was losing the team, I see no reason not to bring him back. He and Hoke have learned this season too.
