|1 day 21 hours ago||I knew of this||
man from the elders in my family. Seeing the number of posts though it strikes me as slightly sad how little is known of many of the men who contributed so richly to Michigan.
May he rest in peace, in Maize and Blue.
|1 day 21 hours ago||I like him||
too, mostly from that Rose Bowl. I've been sorry to see Texas struggle and the heat rise on him. To me it shows an ugly side of the school.
|2 days 1 hour ago||We should learn||
something from Hardaway's success. He played a huge role in the offense last season. Even when not padding the score sheet he worked his ass off and helped open up lanes and shots. As much as the current team misses Trey they also miss Hardaway. He was an unselfish team player who played to win not advance himself.
|2 days 18 hours ago||I was thinking the same||
I was thinking the same thing...he said the defensive tradition of a school is going to play a big part in his decision. On the other hand, if someone can convince him that he has a better next level future on the other side of the ball maybe it would be more intriguing to him.
|2 days 22 hours ago||No, that's not||
been determined. He simply needs the offense to function like a typical JB offense functions. Ball motion and a balanced attack are key for him and the entire team. Stauskas isn't going to be effective against better teams without either... just as he showed against Duke.
|3 days 22 hours ago||Good god...||
two horrible calls against the Lions. Ha, ha. Now the Eagles do a Lions thing and give it right back.

I don't think that's an obvious explanation, it's an observation about Michigan's interior line. If Michigan could have plugged in a RS F to play along side a RS SR C and SR G, the results would have likely been much different.
|4 days 21 hours ago||I don't accept||
the premise. The season was disappointing, not a disaster...for that it would have to have ended in a blow out at home against Ohio. And I'm not sure they underperformed given their youth.
I'll call the season a huge investment in the future. I will rethink that if they have more than 3 losses next year though.
|5 days 42 min ago||Opponent noted||
but I still like what I saw with the offense to start, including using Mitch to trigger the offense. For most of the game though it's just transition basketball and like last season, it's beautiful to watch.
|5 days 1 hour ago||I really liked||
how the offense came out looking for Mitch and Robinson. Nik will be far more effective playing off them and so will the team.
|5 days 1 hour ago||It's not about||
"happy pills." It's a reaction to the near borderline personality disorder that passes gloom, straight to doom in every post. The character and values of a program, its athletes or its fans are revealed in adversity.

Disguised Upton reference?

It was a funny add in (an actual source) on a list that mostly repeated media reports.
|5 days 16 hours ago||Did someone say The Smiths?||
I have just discovered
|6 days 23 hours ago||He defended||
really well against Duke. He's not assertive on the offensive end, I agree. JB talked about it last year in terms of him passing up opportunities.
He and Mitch are said to be very close so maybe Mitch can get in his ear about playing with force.

As much as I love Trey and as much as I wanted the Pistons to pick him, after watching him in a few summer league games I thought maybe Dumars was right. You would have thought I would have known better.
|1 week 15 hours ago||I think||
Caris would be the choice too. JB needs to get his offense in order and Caris seems to be the guy who can see the floor well along with create his own shot. Beilein likes his intelligence.
|1 week 15 hours ago||I agree.||
I think it's bad form to call out guys like that.
|1 week 16 hours ago||Ummm, how||
do you unleash it? They need turnovers or stops neither of which were plentiful last night.
|1 week 18 hours ago||They aren't||
|1 week 18 hours ago||How many||
of those schools would like to recruit like Hoke has? Believe it or not but Hoke is trying to make some major repairs to a program that had slowed down and then went off road.
|1 week 19 hours ago||Based on emotion||
I would go with Lewan for coming back and never hanging his head or sitting down through all of the criticism and on-field trouble.
|1 week 20 hours ago||Stauskas doesn't||
work hard to get free. Much of his game against better competition relies on being forgotten as the third or fourth option. Hardaway was smothered last season and still worked his ass off to get touches and help open other shots.
|1 week 22 hours ago||That's not true,||
he was successful because he looked to drive and challenge Duke's defense. He worked hard, including cutting hard.
|1 week 22 hours ago||JB hasn't been||
running his so-called system for 3 years...at best it's been significantly modified.
|1 week 1 day ago||I wouldn't||
say he covered up flaws but rather he got the ball to guys in the spots they wanted. And he wasn't afraid to keep his dribble while waiting for a play to develop. Still, I remember Michigan struggling when their transition game was contained.
|1 week 1 day ago||From everything||
I've read Stauskas looked good at practice and the shoot around. I don't think his ankle is responsible. Duke made a point of stopping him and he just seemed to accept that (I don't think he works hard to get open).
|1 week 1 day ago||Are you kidding?||
That's pretty far off the mark.
|1 week 1 day ago||Not true.||
The Wolverines are play in good defense.
|1 week 1 day ago||Duke||
would have 5 too without the refs.
