Accuracy doesn't go up 10% with "practice" over 4 weeks. He has had years to work on accuracy and stance and footwork and all that. If he can't do this in practice, no chance with live action against an opponent with NFL players on it. Guys don't change dramatically from April to August.

Injuries really anywhere aside RB are going to be difficult to manage this year. We appear to have 2.5-2.75 whole TEs for an offense that loves them. WR gulp with 1 injury. WR gulp even with 0 injuries. Can't even do a 3 WR set right now without using DE, or a guy whose claim to fame is a spring game. Astonishing lack of depth on this side of the ball for a national champion.

When OSU was beating UM 10 of 11 years it was of course "cute" to have the little "walvies" come over and we pet them on the head and have a cordial discussion. Now its not that.

Cmon man they have 2 first round NFL CBs , they bought probably the best safety in the country to pair with other NFL bound safeites, they have returning talent along the DL - a host of seniors now who could have been drafted this year, and a decent LB room. Howard has done more with 1 finger than anyone on this roster has done at QB in their career. Talent galore at WR and 2 stud RBs. Yeah but let's take a WR room who is 2 deep vs the eight 4 and 5 stars and a QB room full of nobody. who has even started a game aside Tuttle who was terrible when he did.
They didn't trust Orji to pass last year. Full stop. When he came in the game EVERY defensive coordinator knew he was there to only run. If Michigan coaches trusted him they would have gone off script at least 5 times to throw it because everyone was selling out to stop the run. And even with that Michigan's coaches did not trust him to pass.
These are said things for a returning NC team. Imagine this crap coming from UGA
That said I am satiated with the NC and understand it was lightning in a bottle. I am just truly mystified how a slew of MAC or bottom 3 Big 10 QBs are leading a (repeating) returning NC team. All those misses on local QBs for 2+ years... anyhow. Satiated.
JJ kept defenses honest even if we have to do it the Wisconsin but better athletes way. Who the hell is cheating the pass vs Orji a guy they didn't trust to throw once all last year.

With the right stabbings of 90% of admissions program we could stretch this to 11 wins. I do believe there are at least 3 MAC teams we can beat next year and maybe 4 P5s. Maybe.
With our current 3 scholarship players who knows. But we have Jace who will run rampant through the MAC.

Look at Tuttle's stats at Indiana. They are poor. He has Russell Bellomy @ Nebraska written all over him.
