TBD games are typically announced 2 Mondays prior to the game. There is a stipulation in the TV deal that once or maybe twice a season ESPN/ABC can invoke the 1 week clause, where they can wait until the monday prior to announce times to get the "best" game at 3:30. |

The new "conferences" would in essence make every team travel and thus all teams would be spending a fairly similar amount traveling each year. Where as now teams like new jersey, new york, and Philly spend virtually nothing compared to teams like Detroit, Chicago, and Dallas. It would help level the playing field in terms of expenses. And as a Detroit fan I love the fact that I'd get to see teams like Toronto, Boston, Washington EVERY year at home vs the current system where its once every 2 or 3 years at home. |

Depends what you're up for(and who your with, ie a nine year old). I was at the most recent one in Pasadena and the CapOne in 07. The food is ok, cash bar, and its always nice to be around friedly company. Its definetly low key and a "family" atmosphere; more of a place to hang out and get some grub with other Michigan people. If youre looking for a party, the UM Tailgate is not the place. |
