We are watching from Rome!  I am connecting by VPN to the States and connecting the laptop HDMI to the tv. Of course I am at an AirBNB condo with family friends that are Alabama fans (at least half of them are). Still, I have an unopened bottle of champagne to celebrate after the Michigan victory. GO BLUE!!!

Being a Michigan fan who lives in Birmingham, AL, I relish the opportunity to beat the Crimson Tide in Pasadena. Sometimes living in SEC country can be insufferable so it will be awesome to watch our boys eliminate the SEC from the championship game. I do feel like Orji will be an outstanding scout QB for Milroe for our defense. Looking forward to a great month of trash talking.

Safari is dreadful for opening the website. I switched to chrome on the iPhone and it works great.

My eldest daughter, Sofia, received her congratulatory letter today and will do her official tour next month. Super excited!

His appendicitis must have…

His appendicitis must have been relatively bad since more patients are being managed with medical management rather than surgery these days. Most tissues in the body take about 45 days to turnover so 6 weeks is a standard answer after a surgery. Hopefully he is not battling postoperative adhesions or something.

Outstanding!

I have chills!

MSU is having all sorts of problems these days The wheels are falling off at MSU - check out what a calculus teacher did on Monday.

I was thinking the same The day that Hoke hired Mattison, I said the same thing - if only we could keep RR as the OC. Well, I still have high hopes for Michigan's future but things like clock management (i.e. the end of the first half) and our lack of misdirection plays in the Alabama game does remind me about how fast and lethal our offense was 2 years ago. Arizona lit up Ok State yesterday like we used to do.
It looks like he is trying to deliver a baby

I live in Birmingham, AL in the middle of hostile territory for this game.  They have pictures of this guy everywhere.  It is nice to see him out of sorts in that picture of him trying to deliver a little football baby

I remember his first day on the job at R&B

This guy was an intern with Rick and Bubba here in Birmingham, AL. His first day he was introduced on air and they were asking the interns about any special talents in the group. He busted out with the spot-on Lou Holtz impression and everyone was cracking up. It is amazing how his weekly impersonations are enjoyed by so many across the country. I can't get over how he can keep a straight face in the process. He actually plays drums at the Mega Church I attend - clearly he is a multi-talented individual.
