I'm driving down and meeting a bunch of buddies from other states in NOLA, but I don't want to drive alone or spend a ridiculous amount on air fare.
Is anyone else looking for an extra person or willing to drive down? I made the trip last year and just solo drove it without any stops so I am completely willing to do it again. Would be awesome to split the travel costs however.
I'd be looking to leave Friday afternoon or morning. We would leave the day after the bowl game probably in the morning/afternoon as well.
I think the program is in good hands with Rich Rodriguez and I honestly don't think there's a coach in the country that can do what he can offensively. With a medicore to decent defense I think he could take us to competing for a national championship again. At the same time, I think Harbaugh could take us to competing to national championships again as well. Not only that, he would unite the other whiny piss ass half of our fan base that hated Rich Rod before he even got to Ann Arbor. And while I'm not a subscriber to the "OMG HES NAT A MEESHEGANE MAN" mentality, I would like to see our fan base more united and not have half of it hoping for losses.If Rich Rod is fired after the bowl game I'd assume that's because we already have a commitment from Harbaugh. I think Rich Rod has one more year to put us in the top 10 at the end of the season, however the window for hiring Harbaugh probably won't last that long, so if Harbaugh was hired January 1, would I be upset? Absolutely. Would I still be optimistic about Michigan football and have Harbaugh's backing 100% Absolutely. Thoughts?

You expect too much from general football fans. Half the student section also erupted in displeasure when they confused the play clock for the game clock.
I didn't even have to hesitate when deciding who to vote for. I was at the MSU game in East Lansing and my seats were around a bunch of middle aged MSU alum. The whole game was a constant bitchfest about the refs.
More than once I heard this from random MSU bitchtit alums, "Of COURSE they won't get called for |insert random penalty that didn't actually occur here|, they're MICHIGAN!!!"
While walking to the game with my girlfriend...be sure to recite it outloud, it will make more sense.
