He cares more about the brand

DB cares more about the "Michigan brand" than the actual product on the field.  As long as they still sell tickets, he will be satisfied.  Once that tapers off and/or donations dry up, he will think about making a change.

It's time to stop

It's time to stop the idiotic "Ohio" name trolling.  It is a bad look for a supposedly proud and storied program.  You don't talk trash when you're on the ground in a choke hold, which is where this program is right now, figuratively.  If Hoke put the same amount of effort into game planning and player development that he does trolling OSU, this team would be 9-0 instead of 6-3 and taking a streak of 2 embarassing losses into the season stretch.

In 2011, Ohio went 10-4...

...and faced Utah State in something called the "Famous Idaho Potato Bowl" after they lost in the MAC championship game.

I agree that the divisional alignment will be better next year..

But this:

"Does anyone really believe [MSU will] ever win a division with M, OSU, and PSU standing in the way?"

is a ridiculous question to pose, especially considering that M is about to go 0-3 against PSU, MSU and OSU.

And piss on defenseless articles of clothing, apparently...

Keep digging...

Now that the focus is supposed to be on Iowa, here's another question that needs to be asked:

How can you be sure that Iowa's defensive coordinator didn't have his foot amputated in order to gain sympathy from the national media? Was this a stunt designed to give his team an emotional boost?

Maybe he had the one cut off so he could kick more ass with his other foot.

We need you on this case now, bro!

You're doing a great job of it, by the way... ...both in the way your athletic department has been run recently, and in this classy thread.
@ BlueVoix
I'd suggest running back to RCMB where your groupthink mentality can justify a coach that allows 7 men that beat students of your eminent University back to represent said University as athletes.
You mean as opposed to the groupthink mentality at this internet site which willfully ignores the irony of lauding one troubled athlete for receiving a "second chance" while condemning another for the same?
That law prof was right on... Depending on how you spin it, there is: A) a clear difference between Dorsey/Winston B) a subtle difference between Dorsey/Winston C) no difference between Dorsey/Winston I already know the argument for options B&C – I just was interested in hearing everyone's argument for option A. Each one has some truth to it, and no, none of them are absolutely correct. Look, Drew Sharp may be a piece of shit for what he's put this kid through. Actually, he's a piece of shit for a multitude of reasons. However, he has successfully managed to highlight the hypocrisy of the average U-M fan, who would claim the so-called "moral high ground" by condemning one program's transgressions, while simultaneously accepting an admitted criminal into the fold.
This is actually really funny This is actually really funny – since Dorsey was arrested with a ski mask in his possession, while the East Lansing police report states that the MSU players, well... weren't wearing masks.
Absolutely Thus far, I have had a chance to hear everyone's rationalization, and they have not disappointed.
It just seems to me that... the prevailing attitude on this board could be paraphrased as "criminals are criminals" and "criminals shouldn't get second chances"... I guess it's not as black and white as that.
Pray for good shooting weather... Statsheet is showing the line at Wisconsin -6.5, and I think that's being generous to Michigan, considering this game is being played in Madison. If they are going to have a chance, someone other than Manny and Sims is going to have to step up. The key to this game for Michigan is to get Douglass, Novak or one of the other shooters hot, and force the Badgers to unclog the lane and guard out on the perimeter. One thing is certain about playing Wisconsin, they know the scouting report on every player -- especially Manny. Over the last three games, they have held him to a combined 9 for 39 from the field. Manny doesn't do well when he doesn't get a clear path to the basket, and Wisconsin is going to do whatever they can not to allow that. He's going to be knocked and shoved every time he catches the ball, they will hedge every screen he runs around, and he is probably going to have to chase Hughes or Bohannon around about a thousand screens on defense. For Sims to have a good game, he is going to have to get comfortable playing in space, because they will probably not allow him to catch the ball in the low post. He's going to have to catch out by the elbow and drive or pass, or cut to the basket without the ball. Without Leuer, Wisconsin may be a bit limited on offense, but Michigan is going to have to play a damn-near perfect game to come out of there with a win.

Wow! Your man-crush on Mike Hart has seriously clouded your judgement. He scored a TD in a meaningless game while the Colts are resting their top 3 backs. Do you think this is going to help him crack the starting lineup? Maybe you think he will make the All-Pro team next year? Is this really a sign of good things to come? Reality check -- If you want to see him play in the Super Bowl, you're going to have to watch closely to see him on kickoff coverage. Mike Hart was a very good college player, but he will never amount to anything in the NFL. He doesn't have the speed or strength to distinguish himself, and not enough durability to stay healthy even if he gets a shot. Bottom line: look forward to an injury-plagued and inconsistent career, and he's out of the league in 2-3 years, max.

But hey, you still get to start every morning off right -- gently caressing yourself while gazing at the Mike Hart Fathead you pasted to the wall of the shower stall in your parents' basement.
Ron Ar-tard +1 for the incoherent ramblings of an intellectual midget I love how he points out right up front to "Remember only Jesus is perfect." Somehow I've never received the impression that Tiger is much of a Bible thumper, so I'm not sure that is going to be much consolation. Seriously, how low do you have to sink before you start getting advice and an "attaboy" from Ron Artest?
Webber Just call him "Webber." He will gladly accept any handout offered to him, sh*t all over your house, and destroy everything you've worked so hard to build.
