Speaking of which, I listened to the game on the radio (which I haven't done for years), and found our radio team completely unenjoyable. I like Brandstatter, but think he's better as the color guy, and whoever his partner is is insufferable.

This is false. Glad we won and glad speight had enough. Nowhere close to great

Holy shit man, if you're take from this is that speight == Rudock, then I don't even know.
|4 weeks 5 days ago||I disagree. If Michigan ever||
If Michigan ever had a coach who was more interested in having a rival fail than in having his team succeed I would call for him to be fired immediately, and I'd like to think the Michigan faithful would overwhelmingly agree with me. I can't think of a single thing that is more "little brother" than that.

This is exactly why Dantonio is the perfect coach for them. I don't remember which year it was, but it was one of the RichRod one's where, going in to the last week of the season, MSU needed to beat Penn St. and have us beat OSU in order to win the Big 10 (or maybe to go to the Big Ten championship game). A reporter asked Dantonio something along the lines of whether it felt weird to have to root for Michigan. His response was "Go Bucks!"
That is the epitome of their Little Brother mentality.

The blue "M" obviously suggests it was a Michigan fan, but you're theorizing it may have been an inside job. Dastardly of them.
This does lead me to ask, where were you when this "S" was painted on our beloved wolverine?

Great game no doubt. Loved every minute of it. Let's not pretend Rudock was good though.

Goodell has the power to enforce discipline based on policies agreed to in the cba. He does not have the authority to arbitrarily discipline players.

You should be lambasted. I hope adults watching sports are doing it because it brings them happiness.
|13 weeks 1 day ago||I've never understood how||
I've never understood how gold is different than any currency. It has no (or at least very little) intrinsic value. It is only valuable because people decide it is valuable.
I agree it is less volatile than any individual stock, but that doesn't make it a safer investment than the stock market as a whole (Note that I could be wrong about this, I know that there are actual ways to define "risk" and I don't pretend to know how that works, hence why people shouldn't take financial advice from football message boards. But I feel like I'm right...).

I believe "downvoting" should be hyphenated.
|13 weeks 2 days ago||You were making a ton of||
You were making a ton of sense before you started talking about gold. People always talk about gold like it's a safe investment and I don't get it. When I look at two year periods comparing gold to the market, I just don't see gold as a better vehicle.
*My opinion is based on historical data which is not a reliable indicator of future results something something something.
|13 weeks 2 days ago||The stock market is "pretty||
The stock market is "pretty much for sure" going to go up in the next 2 years? Do you practically guarantee it? There are "potentially signifigant gains" but no thoughts about losses?
You give horrible financial advice. But then again the OP is asking for financial advice on a Michigan football blog, so that's probably better than he should expect.

Do you seriously think anything in this passage applies to Hoke? You either don't understand the prose or don't watch Michigan football.
|15 weeks 5 days ago||Who is saying that RichRod||
Who is saying that RichRod was a miracle worker to get that team to 3 wins?
I don't know how old you are, but I think, because of the last 2 coaches, people forget what "low expectations" meant to Michigan at that time. No one was predicting 3-9 because the thought of Michigan going 3-9 was incomprehensible. We were coming off 30ish straight bowl games, so as far as large portions of this fan base was concerned (me included), 7-5 was literally the worst case scenario we could imagine.
It sounds silly now, but that was the mindset then.
|19 weeks 21 hours ago||I have zero proof, but I||
I have zero proof, but I assume Alabama is clean. I have no idea why I think that, but I do (I mean, not squeaky, 100% clean, but essentially as clean as Michigan). I think it's mostly because I beleive that, in general, corruption comes from the boosters, not the coaches, and Alabama was thouroughly mediocre prior to Saban. I also assume that Auburn, Ole Miss, and Clemson are dirty.
I have many more opinions if anyone would like to subscribe to my newsletter.

This is fucking stupid. Number 7 on the list is:

So saying Harbaugh is number 8 means absolutely nothing.
