Now there's a thread on Mgoblog everyday discussing what Dantoni had for breakfast and how that choice means he's obsessed with us. I find it pathetic.

As a casual football fan it feels like NE and Carolina should both win easily. However, as a casual gambler it scares me that all the bets are coming in for NE and Carolina.

Excellent advice. Only things I have to add are 1) just use a regular backpack for a diaper bag 2) get the baby used to cold bottles asap. Nothing worse than having a screaming, hungry baby and needing to wait until the bottle is heated up.

It was the Zook class with Arrelius Benn. Not sure how the rest of the class was but Benn was a huge recruit.

You don't "get" anything. You will be expected to compete for the top bunk.

I hear what you're saying, but in this particular case I'm pretty sure it's positive EV. You'd be dumb not to play. Unless you hate money that is.

Agreed. I was critical of Rudock early in the year, but he's been impressive in the last half. Won't be surprised if he finds himself a backup role on an NFL roster.

In my opinion, taking the wind was defensible. The worst part of that OT was after taking the wind. we had made a play to force a long fg attempt, but Chicago held on the play. Instead of declining it and forcing the long fg into the wind we accepted the penalty. Obviously Chicago converted and the rest is history.

Speaking of which, I listened to the game on the radio (which I haven't done for years), and found our radio team completely unenjoyable. I like Brandstatter, but think he's better as the color guy, and whoever his partner is is insufferable.

He was just good enough to win the game. That is not the same as great.

This is false. Glad we won and glad speight had enough. Nowhere close to great

Holy shit man, if you're take from this is that speight == Rudock, then I don't even know.
|15 weeks 3 days ago||I disagree. If Michigan ever||
If Michigan ever had a coach who was more interested in having a rival fail than in having his team succeed I would call for him to be fired immediately, and I'd like to think the Michigan faithful would overwhelmingly agree with me. I can't think of a single thing that is more "little brother" than that.

This is exactly why Dantonio is the perfect coach for them. I don't remember which year it was, but it was one of the RichRod one's where, going in to the last week of the season, MSU needed to beat Penn St. and have us beat OSU in order to win the Big 10 (or maybe to go to the Big Ten championship game). A reporter asked Dantonio something along the lines of whether it felt weird to have to root for Michigan. His response was "Go Bucks!"
That is the epitome of their Little Brother mentality.

The blue "M" obviously suggests it was a Michigan fan, but you're theorizing it may have been an inside job. Dastardly of them.
This does lead me to ask, where were you when this "S" was painted on our beloved wolverine?

|23 weeks 6 days ago||I've never understood how||
I've never understood how gold is different than any currency. It has no (or at least very little) intrinsic value. It is only valuable because people decide it is valuable.
I agree it is less volatile than any individual stock, but that doesn't make it a safer investment than the stock market as a whole (Note that I could be wrong about this, I know that there are actual ways to define "risk" and I don't pretend to know how that works, hence why people shouldn't take financial advice from football message boards. But I feel like I'm right...).
