My main complaint is as a season ticket holder. The cost to hold season tickets is getting absolutley ridiculous and the home schedule is gettin worse and worse. I would certainly rather lose a home game every other year if it meant scheduling a quality opponent for a home and home.
|12 weeks 5 days ago||who cares?||
|24 weeks 6 days ago||Way more than $40 per game||
$75-$95 plus the seat license
|24 weeks 6 days ago||Spare me the rhetoric||
Just to be clear? What do you consider as acceptable? 100% attendance 15 mins prior to game time?
|24 weeks 6 days ago||Do you buy season tix?||
Do you buy season tix?
|24 weeks 6 days ago||You don't get it||
This is my first year as a season ticket holder since grad school. It cost me $1000 to transfer tix plus $1,200 for a seat license + ~$1,000 for tix this season. I couldnt sell these tix (sec 44) for $40. In reality, they cost me $500 for the pair. The only reason to show up is to tailgate ($50 to park close) The pricing model is broken in a huge way. Within 5 years we'll only bevselling out the big games. I don't blame the students for not showing up for this game.

I love that Shane Morris is already overrated and his first fall camp hasn't even started yet

So what part of his comment do you agree with?
|37 weeks 1 day ago||Ok||
You don't have any idea how Meyer influenced Hernandez and neither do I. Your argument is exactly what I'm talking about when I call this thread disgusting. You posit an argument that you can't support and then use that imaginary argument to make a quantum logical leap that Meyer is complicit in a murder.
|37 weeks 1 day ago||This whole thread is repulsive||
So I apologize for directing this solely at you. I dislike Meyer as much as the next guy and am glad he's not our coach, but any implication that he shoulders even the slightest responsibility for the alleged actions of Hernandez is absurd. The fact that people here are reveling in the fact that they can throw this in the face of another fanbase is disgusting.

I've got a 2 year old and I will probably take her before she's ready to sit through a whole game. Even though she's not ready for the whole experience there will still be a lot of parts that she'll enjoy (snacks, the band, everyone singing the victors etc...) and it will be fun for me to share those moments even if she won't enjoy the whole experience. Of course, she won't care about the opponent, so I'll do this at an EMU game and not UTL, but I think that's the impetus for most dads with little kids.

FWIW, I'm acquaintences with one of Barwis' neighbors, and they told me that Michigan paid him 2 years severance after the coaching transition. Assuming this is true, it seems like a smart move by the University to keep him in the area and also keep him with postive feelings towards the program

So much this.

We're obviously upset we're lost, and I personally think that there are a lot of us saying / complaing about ridiculous things in the wake of the lost, but that doesn't make us obsessed.
When Dantonio would rather see Michigan lose than the team he coaches go to the Rose Bowl, that is obsession (I realize not all State fans agreed with this, but then again, not all State fans are obsessed with Michigan, just most of them). Michigan cares about Michigan State because we just lost to them. We will continue to care because they are in our division, but there are very few people on this board who would root for State to lose even if it adversely affected where our team would play a bowl game.

How exactly do we know that he wasn't called a racial slur?

Can we just create a single thread where we cry about the refs / msu thuggery / Denard? Maybe it could be called "I'm gonna hang-up and listen"

I don't think anyone here thinks it wasn't dirty. The point is that at the end of the year, everyone has some dirty plays (including us) and that whining about it accomplishes nothing other than making us look like sore losers. Stop whining.

While I also tend to think that there is way too much political correctness in most discussions, you make a compelling case that I'm wrong.
|2 years 33 weeks ago||Calm down||
This is a shaping up to be a very good recruiting class, but it is nowhere near the Fab 5.
|2 years 36 weeks ago||I never said that I thought||
I never said that I thought Hoke was being dishonest (Although unless you have some insided information, I don't think there was enough data in the OP to claim with certainty that "what Hoke is doing is completely transparent and honest"), I was simply explaining why I was uneasy about this. More than likely you guys will be right and everything will work out OK. However, if something unfortunate were to happen and this kid had some sort of career ending inury, it's hard to see us still giving him an athletic scholarship next year.
Would he be elegible for a medical scholarship then?
|2 years 36 weeks ago||The reason that this makes me||
The reason that this makes me uneasy is that there does not appear to be any guarantee that this kid will actually get a scholarship (Whereas Dever is not expecting to get a scholarship). Maybe I don't fully understand what a "greyshirt" means, but it seems to me that if Clark were to get injured or turn out to be not as good as the coaches hoped then there would be no obligation to give him a scholarship.
That would not be OK in my opinion. It's the kind of thing that we as Michigan fans would attack the SEC for.

Got the virus this morning and was able to fix my registry and remove the virus. My harddrive failed an hour ago.
