Less Drops, more ninja skills

Drops were huge last season and that could definitely use improvement. I lost count of the number of times Denard made a perfect throw and it was just not caught despite being very catchable.

I'd also like to see more post catch ninja skills like Hemingway vs Illinois.

And lastly, as much as I like Vincent Smith overall, I'd like to NOT see him on a 3rd and 1 situation.

Slight correction

Let me correct you

"We aren't forced to go for it on 4th and > 5  from the 20-25 yard line because we actually have a kicker"

That's better.

Thanks for sharing

I had no clue about who Jack Kennedy was when he came out for the dying seconds of the game against Delaware State. Now after this story (that is really well told) I appreciate his perseverance and I agree completely that he is a true "Michigan Man" and he now has one more fan among the wolverine fanbase.

That has to be the best set

That has to be the best set of reviews I have seen in a long time. And the sarcastic one is EPIC.

To quote from one of the reviews

"He bricked his attempt at literary significance with a release that stands (at this writing) at #1,372,928 on the Amazon sales chart.

How bad is this?

The Drywall Finisher's Handbook" checks in at #464,899; "No More Bedwetting: How to Help your Child Stay Dry" is at #206,013; and "The War Against Toenail Fungus" resides at a comparatively lofty #74,497."

I agree...I was only trying

I agree...I was only trying to find a logical reason for this hire which in the current climate means that anyone with a Carr connection is a shoe-in

I doubt if

I doubt if someone with Denard's running ability would "only" run 700 yards. I can totally see him topping a 1000 rushing and 2000 passing given our schedule this year and the fact that he will definitely be the focal point of our offense

I certainly hope not

but his return would make sense for Carr Loyalists and would go with the entire pattern of this hire...stick with what worked in the past (even if it was for just a year with some fantastic defensive players)

this made me lol at work

thanks...i needed that

Thank you Rich Rod

I'm sure what I'm going to say has been repeated in some way or the other by the people before me but I'm going to say it any way.

Thank you for showing us an offense that scores in less than a minute and stuns us into speechlessness. Thank you for shoelace. For Wisconsin 08 and for many other moments that I could possibly list here.

Lastly, thank you for staying classy and taking the high ground through the whole thing. You were on shaky ground from the start because of the rather unhealthy "Michigan Man" obsession (who really knows what it means at this point?). And yet, despite all the adversity and the unfair opposition and the extreme bad luck, you stayed classy and showed that you don't need to be from Michigan to show the virtues that we associate with a "Michigan Man".

I still believe that with a little bit more luck (with injuries and recruits), a little bit more support and a better defense, you could have taken this team far. I'm certain now that whereever you go, you'll do a fine job and will possibly get your team upto speed before we will under the new coach.

Thank you and Good luck
