|1 day 5 hours ago||Hi, I'm Ace.||
Notably, I'm not Brian, who said, "Until Brandon and Hoke are out, that's my plan. I'm not going to the Maryland game, and you* shouldn't either."
*Meaning everyone, not me, since he said earlier in the podcast that I still had to go games because that's kinda my job.
Maybe next time don't use quotes.

|3 days 14 hours ago||Yikes.||
Blocked. Sorry it stayed up that long. People who are confused by this and the following several comments—there's a deleted post in this thread that very much merited the reaction.
|5 days 13 hours ago||Right, I get those two confused for some reason.||
Both have ten carries on the year to Edwards' 16, while Cobb's at 92, so neither seem to be a big factor in the offense this year.
|5 days 13 hours ago||Yeah...||
...they ran one jet sweep with Edwards in this game (very short gain) and faked one or two more. The other RB backup—Rodrick Williams, the aforementioned former starter—only saw action on special teams; he's been almost entirely phased out of their gameplan, it appears. Cobb took just about every snap.
Oh, and no bubble screens or even fakes in this game. I know they're in the offense with Leidner, so I can only assume Streveler isn't very comfortable throwing them; either that or with how well the run game was going they just didn't need a constraint play at all.
|6 days 13 hours ago||That's not true.||
Not sure which chart you're looking at, but Connelly has their most likely B1G record as 6-2 (31.1% chance) with an almost exactly equal chance of finishing 7-1 or 8-0. There's also a big chart near the top with the expected wins for each team, and it has MSU at a very reasonable 5.83. Not saying these rankings are perfect (they aren't), but that looks totally fair to me.
|1 week 8 hours ago||I understand this sentiment.||
I really do. But seeing this comment after spending Friday night at Wayne State, then several hours editing video and writing this post over the last couple days... well, I'd prefer if you just kept that thought to yourself, Don.
EDIT: Also, this is kind of a strange thing to say regarding a post primarily about a rock-solid Michigan commit.
|1 week 1 day ago||My bad.||
That definitely merited inclusion. Here you go.
|1 week 1 day ago||hahahahahahaha||
no, that did not happen.
|1 week 5 days ago||Haven't seen enough of him...||
...in the secondary to get a great feel for how he'd fit on defense, though obviously MSU recruiting him on that side is a positive sign. I'll say this: he's really good with the ball in space and is a tough runner for his size, so utilizing him in the slot like Michigan does Norfleet has a lot of potential. I'm just not sure you want to take the ball out of Kelly's hands. He's a heck of a playmaker.
|1 week 6 days ago||New OC||
They brought in former Wyoming HC and Mizzou OC Dave Christensen this year. Trust me, they've really turned up the tempo.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Yikes.||
That was not a good typo. Fixed.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Nice catch.||
|2 weeks 5 days ago||Seth did his best...||
...with Michigan's personnel in the diagram, but by no means take that as gospel. U-M has totally locked down info on the injury front, so it's pure guesswork at this point.
|3 weeks 9 hours ago||Now this.||
This is how it's done.
|3 weeks 10 hours ago||dammit, man.||
|3 weeks 1 day ago||Co-sign all of this.||
I got extremely lucky—my physician went above and beyond in continuing to question my initial diagnosis and eventually coming across the right one, but in my experience (and hearing those of others) that's far more the exception than the rule. Seeing someone who will test for allergies is my best recommendation, and in this regard a lot of "alternative" medicine practices are ahead of the curve.
|3 weeks 1 day ago||Just want to thank everyone...||
...for the overwhelmingly positive and extremely helpful response to this piece—my Twitter feed is now stuffed with delicious-looking gluten-free recipes. I'm continually amazed by the strength and generosity of this community. It's always scary to open up like this, but every time I do, I wonder why I hadn't done it far sooner. I can't thank you all enough for that.
|3 weeks 1 day ago||I wish I had one...||
...but thus far the GF cookbooks I've found have been a little underwhelming—one, in fact, didn't properly identify which ingredients/foods to avoid, and I was able to recognize this despite being very early on in educating myself about the allergy.
The internet has far better resources. I just got directed to this site as a result of posting this, and it looks quite promising.
Also, if those are your symptoms, they're very similar to mine; I obviously am not a doctor, but in my experience it certainly wouldn't hurt to try to go GF for a while and see if matters improve. I hope you can find a solution, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to email me.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||Agreed here.||
Especially if Jake Butt is playing, Michigan should be content to trot out three receivers and mess with ND's safeties using the flex TE. If he's in there, he'll be attacking the middle of the field.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||No.||
No. Te'o was about 20 pounds heavier than Smith, at least in the latter part of his career, which helped him take on blocks and hold up against the run. Smith's athleticism is just outrageous for a linebacker, so while he's not necessarily going to knock a guard back, he does well enough just by being really hard to corral.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||Thanks for giving that side.||
I'm pretty much in agreement; he's clearly a phenomenal athlete and is well on his way to reaching his prodigious potential. My writeup may not have been entirely fair to him; I think a lot of his lack of impact was due to the lack of opportunities to make one, like you said—he had to cover a ton of ground and did well with it.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||Could definitely happen.||
ND looked susceptible to passes out of the backfield, especially if Schmidt ended up on a back. I do expect Michigan to focus more on screens and the like to take advantage, however, instead of tipping their hand with personnel.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||Nothing official.||
There's no official word on whether Jake Butt will play or if Graham Glasgow will start; those are Seth's educated guesses. I'm pretty confident that will end up being the lineup.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||Only visit he has planned...||
...is for Michigan/OSU right now. I think St. Ignatius (his HS) plays most of their games on Saturdays, so in-season visits are tough to pull off.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||Nope.||
I can't blockquote half the article, but he said he loves their OL coach and that "it's hard to turn down a Notre Dame diploma."
|3 weeks 6 days ago||Yeah, I can understand that||
Yeah, I can understand that perspective; McDaniel looked decent enough, but aside from not blowing the occasional assignment it looks like he's well behind the other two in pretty much every regard. Bryant, especially, looked really good on his runs; does a really nice job of planting and getting upfield.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||Just talked to Seth.||
Glad you liked the graphic, which was entirely his doing. He's gonna add in your suggestion—I really like that idea.
|4 weeks 1 day ago||I can confirm...||
...that it is happening during the podcast recording. There will be video, and we're tying it in to a pretty cool cause to which I have a very personal connection. I'll be consuming a lemon myself, and will write a post next week with the video and details about the cause—this nine-year-old's video (that I happened to stumble across thanks to WolverineDevotee's hashtag) was the inspiration, and I'll explain my personal connection to this next week:
|4 weeks 1 day ago||Patience...||
He's one game into his sophomore season. I bet he'll get an offer. I also bet the coaches would like to look at a few of their 2017 WR options before throwing that offer out there.
