First is the money. It started at 7.5 million and is well over 8 now thanks to Notre Dame. When we left Nike they were offering 2 million.
Second, Michigan has the right to refuse any product idea or design Adidas offers. Nike would not do that either.
If anything this national call out served as a wake up call to Adidas. They came out and said they have our jerseys ready (per Darren rovell on twitter).
He broke his right ankle before the game (according to Wojo's tweets) and Leyland still ran him out there. Bad decision by Leyland. The entire game may have been different had a healthy player been in the line up.
Sharp should be the last to criticize someone on their use of the english langualge. Hoke's response should have been "W-w-w-well D-d-drew, you can't w-w-win the n-n-national ch-ch-ch-championship wi-with-without winning t-t-the c-c-c-conference.
On a bet such as this, the casino will have a set amount on how much they will pay out on a bet. Let's say $25,000. So if you show up with $10,000 to bet at 10/1 odds, your first bet will be $2,500 at 10/1. Then before the next bet is made, the odds will come down to 5/1 or 3/1.
They do the same thing with Horseracing futures as well.
David Brandon said in an interview yesterday with Bernie Smilovitz that he had put together a list of potential replacements a year ago. He has also actively taken people off and added people to that list. This is something ANY good business manager does. At any point one of the key people within the organization could leave, and he needs to be prepared to make a replacement.
I think that the division names are an embarrassment, but I think I know where they were going with them. They are also used to keep the UM-OSU Connection.
Leaders: Obviously from The Victors.
Legends: Every time out at OSU, they had "Legends of the Shoe" commercials with their former great players highlighted. They also released bobbleheads titled Legends of the Shoe.
To further the animosity, they put UM in the Division with the name patterned after OSU, and OSU in the Division Patterned after UM.
After the Michigan-MSU Game, DA Tweeted "Go MSU! Great win!" Two Days later his marraige is ending. Either Ms. Cox is a Michigan fan and she left him for that. Or the Gods are punishing DA for his blasphemy.
that my wife bought me Sirius 2 years ago. There is no better sports program than Movin the Chains with Pat Kirwan and Tim Ryan. In fact, Pat just wrote a book called Take Your Eyes Off The Ball. If you like football it is a great read.
You can go to www.sitvoffer.com and get a year subscription to Sports Innustrated and Madden 11 for $60. I saw the commercial on NFL Network this weekend. It actually has me thinking about getting SI.
It was late when I posted that, so chalk that up to me being an idiot for a moment. A check of the CCHA media guide did not yield my colleagues name, and I have not had the chance to ask him what level he refs. It is probably the lower divisions like the Wayne States or Albion colleges that he refs.
The guy I work with does not ref CCHA games, I would guess that he refs high school in the area. Like I said, he is a friend of Shegos, and has brought in a lot of hockey memoralbilia for another colleague's son who plays hockey. If I was at a bar with him I may have gone on more about the sucky reffing of Shegos, but we were in a professional setting, and I decided that such behavior was not appropriate.
Yeah he did. It was more embarrassing for me because I don't talk to the guy very often. In fact, only one other person knew that this guy is a referee. But yes, I could tell he took offense to the fact that I blasted his friend.
Cascades is good, but in Jackson I have found that the Grande is a much more fun course. When I last played there a few years ago is was around 40 for 18 with a cart. It is south of 94 on US 127. One of the best courses i have played on in Michigan
Just in case anyone wants to watch it. I have never seen the episode, but as a lover of all things Blimpy, I have wanted to see it. Thanks for mentioning that it was on tonight.
Pass/Fail and I tutored for 3 hours a week at Community High School. I was in the student lounge the entire time, and played euchre with students all the time. There were a couple of girls who would flirt with me the entire time I was there, but I didn't desire to spend the next 20 years of my life back in Jackson.
I needed one last credit to graduate, so I was looking for the easiest class I could find. I took Communications 111- Introduction to the Computer. At the time I was working at Circuit City, and had worked for 3 years at Ulrich's Electronics. I had also built my own computer, so I figured it was an easy A. I was correct. The first day was geared towards teaching you how to create a folder and upload content via FTP to your University account.
I was lucky to have many of the teachers on here. I had Nolta for Organic Chem Lab, and Coppola for the class. Loved them both. I also had Marwil in the fall of 2001 for 20th Century American Wars. One of my favorite History profs was Brian Porter. He taught 318, Europe in the Era of Total War, which focused on Europe from 1910-1945. He incorporated a lot of media into the class, which made his lectures very interesting.
Well mostly. My birthday was on the 1st day of classes, so everone was in town, and nobody had a reason to bail out. We went to Mitch's when it was on the Northeast corner of S. U. and Forest. I think we ended up at the Jug and Charley's too. Man it was such a great time, and damn you all for making me long for my days on campus!
of the shirt only being available at the official University store, which is now mgoblueshop. If that is the case, it really sucks. I would rather spend my money at MDen than mgoblueshop.
Lloyd argued with the refs to get the extra second put back on the clock in '07? LSU said they were calling for the TO and something like 10+ seconds ran off the clock before it was granted to them. Why wasn't Les arguing for that time to be put on the clock?
who said he has always felt that Michigan has cheated because you cannot stay so good for so long without cheating. Any time I see or hear Drew Sharp I turn the network. It makes life easier.
There was WAY too much red in the stands today. A lot of the seats were where you normally have season ticket holders as well. I hope that the Athletic Department see this as an embarrassment and does something about it.
if it is M on OSU hate, but it was M on M hate. Plus, the instigator was pretty drunk. I didn't know the guy next to me, but we were talking most of the game, and he was cool. I had to hold him back from knocking out the drunk PoS.
I was in 33 Row A as well. How far were you from the near fight early in the game between two Michigan fans? I was right in the middle trying to keep things cool.

It is a violation of NCAA Rules. Are you trying to get us in trouble before the Frozen Four?
I know you mean your post in jest, and so do I. I just don't want someone to get any ideas.

by pro scouts that he would be a mid to late round pick. It doesn't do him much good to come out early unless you are a 1st or 2nd.
