So, I'm deployed until early November and most likely cant stream live due to my flying schedule and whatnot - does WatchESPN and BTN2Go offer games to be replayed on demand afterwards by any chance?
SMU +25.5: They can score and Houston isn't that dominant to deserve this line.
K State +10: Traditional ATS safe pick, at home, TCU struggles against lesser opponents.
Navy +14.5: Navy is very good this year, and always plays ND super tough.
Indiana +8: Penn State is garbage. Indiana took OSU down to the wire, and plays B1G teams very close
OK State +7: WVU's QB is garbage, and OSU's D-Line is arguably better than Oklahoma's. WVU no quality wins thus far either, I don't see them doing it any time soon after watching last week's pathetic showing vs Oklahoma.
Maryland +33: They held us to a super low score until the 2nd half and still was a low-scoring affair relatively (don't blame that on the weather). OSU has yet to prove they can put away lesser opponents, and I keep laughing at them.
Texas Tech +7 over TCU I really like, classic trap game, plus a home underdog always intrigues me.
Vanderbilt +24.5 they have a much better defense than people realize and will play this game close.
Ball State +18.5 as Tyler Duffy said, NU should never be 18.5 point favorites
UMASS +29 Sandwich game for ND, plus UMASS is talented. Kept Temple to a very close game, and Temple is a damn solid football team this year
Indiana plays Wake Forest to go 4-0 for first time since 1990 - so I say play Wake +3 - Indiana has 94% of money and is a road dog I love this bet!
Western Michigan +31.5 over OSU, until OSU proves something, I have no reason to trust them to put away a team that kept it reasonably close to MSU
Mississippi State +1.5 operation fade Auburn + DAK
ULM +38 over Bama - Bama never covers against lesser opponents, is 0-7 covering after a loss, and ULM is coming off a bye week. Plus Bama coming off an emotional loss and has to look ahead to Georgia next week.
Birmingham is a super fun place! Avondale has an amazing outdoor area to drink their great beer and watch games plus the pizza place next door is unreal and totally worth the $
Their starting QB was injured in the final quarter last week. Their coach doesn't talk about injuries but the replays looked pretty nasty, can't imagine he'll be back this week
The more we win, the more casual student fans will go. This may shock some of you, but there are students who never attend a single football game. Give it time and stop being so damn old and grumpy
It's already built into the AF budget each year. The sorties double as training missions because time on target and precise formation flying are exactly what they are training to do anyways, this is just in a different environment. It's good to train outside your normal training environment to not get complacent
Also if your tech order demands speeds above it for your plane to operate safely. The 38's are basically a rocket ship with no wings so they do patterns at 310 normally
There is no way the plane can magically lock up and slam into the stands, except direct pilot input. These guys are trained professionals - even if an engine fails, they turn, climb and head back to the nearest airport to land
1 - I believe so; probably why they featured it in the photos, cannot 100% confirm at this time
2 - Usually they can fly between 250 - 300kts (287-345 mph) but the FAA can choose to limit speeds to contain noise. That's the general rule of thumb, and of course they have to time to the anthem so they can speed up or slow down as they please (maybe speed up at the last second for a good show haha)
That would make sense unless you consider you can enter an email address at any time from your home during time off, so to lump them all in like that is stupid. You don't have to be physically at work to enter your work email, you know?
My high school was sponsored by Nike and the (football) equipment was top notch. Every kid I know my age (25) would perfer Nike over any other brand. Just my 2 cents
That's my guess. Why not. He hasn't been mentioned, he's the genius behind the Eagles and Chip Kelley's fast-paced offense. He strongly desires another chance at a head coaching gig. His players love him. And best of all he has strong local ties. To quote a Philly.com article
"A top linebacker recruit out of Divine Child High in Dearborn, Mich., his path to Ann Arbor seemed paved. After all, he'd been born on campus when his father, an orthopedic surgeon, was studying there. His father, Joe, and his Uncle Fritz, then the Rams' defensive coordinator, grew up with Michigan coach Lloyd Carr in the Downriver suburbs south of Detroit."
Sure, he went to Michigan State instead but we don't want a Michigan Man, right?

Thoughts on having a weekly college betting discussion on Thursdays? That would rock

That's a damn good question. Be a news reporter - they seem to always fly with the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels
you should always aim to fix ugly early...

If anyone watched Hard Knocks last night, seems Harbaugh gave the players the same media coaching as O'Brien

It's official - Michigan is back to its roots! All is right in the world again
Oh man I hope Romo and Sanchez are next!
Man, as a fan and a person I'm overjoyed with Nike
As a stockholder in Under Armour..... eh how bad could this hurt? Lol
My alma mater in Ohio (sorry) had Nike, then switched to Under Armour after I left. Pretty common in D1 there
My high school was sponsored by Nike and the (football) equipment was top notch. Every kid I know my age (25) would perfer Nike over any other brand. Just my 2 cents
