I predict we will be the trapee

against Penn State.  Let's hope we can reclaim our dominance against them with their suspect offense.

Politics

What happened to the no politics rule?

what?

I thought I was you

Based on your points

It appears you are the one who did not succeed!

A haiku clarifying the last one

That is a good plan.

Make sure you have a guest pass

or student I.D.

Indiana Basketball

Indiana has one of the best basketball traditions in the conference.  They are just going through something similar to what our football team is (and basketball was for that matter) right now.

Kind

I'm happy to see we have received a commitment from a good football player.  Our coach has a knack for finding good players who are unheralded recruits.  Chris Rock has potential to be better than his current abilities suggest.  If he gains 30 pound of the non-fat variety, he will be a better football player than currently.  Rich Rodriguez, good job convincing him to come to our school.

sad news

Coach Keller is an old family friend and all of us are very devastated by this loss.  The decision seemed to come out of nowhere for him and hopefully he will be able to recover and find a new job as soon as possible.  RIP.

I just called

I just called Bitsy Ritt.  We had a long conversation about the whole "DD" issue but I have come to the conclusion that this entire sitauation could have just been avoided.

completely agree with the above two posts In terms of the rest of their schedules, Boise pretty much dominated everyone excpet Tulsa but that isn't any worse than beating Utah "only" by 7. I think Boise should definitely be over Oregon and Iowa (what has Iowa done that Boise hasn't, overcome "adversity" they created themselves?) and maybe Cinci too. Iowa got completely bailed out by two horrible video replay calls and likely would have lost if they were called correctly.
Completely agree about Kovaks Ever since the Indiana game, I've been saying he is way too slow to be a good safety, but he has been playing "linebacker" better than our current linebackers now. I think it would be effective to move him permanently there to linebacker and put somebody else (Williams, anybody?) who can actually help out the corner that isn't Warren. With Kovaks out, nothing against him, but it seems like we are playing a 3-5-3 defense, which is setting us up to get burned by the pass quite often.
Unfortunate I still can't believe that the major recruiting service had him ranked about as high as Darren McFaddon. Imagine if he had lived up to the hype...
Haha I loved the comment on Winston, not much conditioning in prison?
Martin I think he handled this specific situation perfectly and have rarely been disappointed with the decisions Martin has made. At the time, even the Amaker hire seemed great.
Sheridan I agree with the OP that if RRod says Sheridan is in the mix, it is very likely that he is fully in the mix. However, I disagree with the notion that Sheridan is less prone to mistakes. His (lack of..) skill set will pretty much create "mistakes" for him, not allowing him to make plays, despite how much longer he has been with the offense. Missing the spring also definitely hurt him and gave Forcier the chance to "catch up" with him in the offense. Despite this, I would want him starting if he is truly the best option now, because at this point, we should be trying to win as much as we can after what happened last year. The future is very important, but another "disaster season" could cause enough anger in the general fanbase to put RRod on the hotseat, which most people here would not want.
