I have heard about this and I would like to try it someday, maybe it would work for you.
This claims they paid $12 for the garbage can, I paid $25 for mine at lowes but I used it for garbage, I would get a new one dedicated to only smoking.
I saved the side burner from an old propane BBQ that was ready for the garbage and I plan to use that instead of an electric hotplate.

There have been several, most of mine have already been mentioned and I realize how lucky I am to have been at so many of the previous posted games.
The earliest truly nutso win I remember being there for was when Phil Brabb's kicked the game winner at the end to beat Washington. I was in the end zone row 6 and felt like I could have caught the ball if the net handn't been raised. I was jumping up and down hugging some guy next to me before I realized my Dad had been siting on the OTHER side of me. The guy hugged back, it was weird, in retrosepct.

Two years ago they gave away tickets to the Event Staff so that they could invite family to see UMass. That game was no a sellout. The only streak alive is that of games with over 100,000 in attandence. I don't think there is any danger in that ending any time soon.

In the UM coach just sitting down. He comes off better probably the way he handled it, but part of me wanted him to say, "You had your chance to talk little brother, now please respect my time to talk and don't interrupt me again."

He made the right decision and threw it away rather than force a play that wasn't there on first down.

But there isn't a league I can think of that uses divisional record first in determining standings. It also doesn't really make sense to me. If the Tigers were 72-90 overall, 62-10 in thier division, and 10-80 against other divisions I don't think they should be considered divisional champs and make the playoffs.
MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL all use overall record to seed within division, then use head to head record to break a tie, then use divisional record if head to head is a tie.
I would like somone to name a league of any sport that uses division record first, maybe some HS FB Conferences? I'm just curios where the idea comes from, I fell for it myself until I thought about it just a little.

I like the song, I liked it before I knew that this song was the song that was being treated is if it was awful around here.
I don't think I agree with a single sentance in your post, and I will gladly take your house in the bet, mine sucks.
The closest I can get to not disagreeing is that I don't know if the band is terible or good, I just like the only song that I heard by them.
I suppose it is just a matter of taste, like a preference in flavor of ice cream

I enjoyed reading it, I like emo / rah rah sometimes too.
|2 years 26 weeks ago||Iowa 2003||
The only B1G away game I made it to was Iowa 2003. Every play regardless of outcome or controversy was replayed, it was also "brought to you by . . . " mostly the local paper, grocery store, or TV news team. Seriously I was hit over the head with how many sponserships and ads there were, everywhere. But they never missed a replay that I can recall, though I'm sure I didn't look up every time.
It used to be SOP that controversial calls were never replayed at UM to try to avoid fans getting too worked up. That has been over for a few years now though.
|2 years 28 weeks ago||Sounds like fun||
I'm in, but am I allowed to make more than one entry? I assume I would have to choose a different user name, I just did one for the moment. I went with a system assuming that Michigan will win all 12 games so I didn't pick any team we are scheduled to play, although I'm probably way too heavy on SEC where we could see one of them in a bowl.
B. OK State
D. Miss State

It's simply a matter of taste, but I think the split M will never be topped. At least I still have mine in my man cave.

I always just thought of the last rule but in the back of my mind I knew that it wasn't quite enough. This has good conditions to have it faze out as you age and hit different life milestones.

I'm out of players older than me since Chelios retired, but I still have my Terry Sawchuck #1 I got for my 30th birthday I wear only to the occasional Wings game.
I'm 41 years, 7 hours, 47 minutes old.

We have to make this happen somehow. If Lex Luther can get rid of California we should be able to find a way.
|2 years 44 weeks ago||Im not convinced the billlboard was ours||
There is no history of any Michigan fan purchasing billboard for taunting purposes. MSU does have such a history. It was MSU that was kept from a BCS game and they bought billboards to demonatrate thier frustration that Wisconson was in the Rose Bowl when MSU had beaten Wisconsin. I think this was an MSU fan that thinks they got jipped out of the Rose bowl by Tressel's use of ineligible players. I don't suppose there is any way to find out, but I really want to know or certain who did this. 1) if it is a UM fan, to admonish that person, 2) to clear our fandom reputation if it is not.
|2 years 44 weeks ago||Excellent||
and I hope the expand it by another 1,000 when the add the 6,000 seats. Its all about the students, none should be denied. I would like it if they sold to every student first before they ever sold any tickets to anyone else.
|2 years 47 weeks ago||I don't agree it was sensible.||
Yes hindsight is 20/20 but the day of that draft my thought wasn't that it was a sensible pick but that it was a high risk / high reward pick, and most of those don't yeuild the reward.
I had thought Anthony would be the pick, and I'm not convinced Bosh is all that great even to this day. Best thought I could come up with that day was, "I hope Joe Dumars knows something I don't, he should after all." I'm certainly know expert but I preferred the known Anthony whom we could see had talent vs the unknown skethcy highlight reel of Darko.
Also, all we really gave up to get that pick was Otis Thorpe, then we had to wait a few years as the picks each year were high enough to be protected. In this draff only the #1 pick was protected that would have had us wait 1 more year, so there was no way the Pistons could get Lebron. So the high risk really, we didn't have much on the line that we paid for that chance and that balanced out the risk some.

I only wonder why he backed off from it. I agree 100%. That's what I've been saying to the arrogant Sparties about thier first shared Big Ten football championship in 20 years.
and I mean it disrespectully.

I'm sure when I'm 100 I'll still think college girls are sexy and I will like looking at them. I don't care who thinks its creepy, it's normal.
Creepy would be if you said that about a picture of a Kindergarden.
|3 years 11 weeks ago||The Big East has nothing to prove||
because they have already proven they are not very good at football. The 6th place Big Ten team thumped thier conference champ. I think the Big East and ACC have proven its time to stop having automatic qualifiers.

I figured that was just a nerdy way to have "Lets Make Some Noise" and they would trot it out every so often.
|3 years 13 weeks ago||There is nothing he can do||
No matter what Rich Rod Says or does he will be bashed by the bashers that are making thier entire living solely on bashing him. If Brandon keeps him, he could go 11-1 and they will continue to bash him after every press conference and call for his head on the chopping block after the one loss.
The only chance, and its probably not possible, is to stop listening to the bash.
97.1 is no longer a preset in my cars.
|3 years 13 weeks ago||He is also a Senior now||
Rich Rod did not have this season's Steven Threet to deploy, correclty or incorrectly.
He also, still, is not all that good. In 2008 while being incorrectly deployed he threw 9 TD's against 7 Interceptions while sharing time. This year while being correctly deployed and playing every game (but leaving the last game early with injury) he threw 19 TDs against 16 interceptions. I don't see any big difference there, just more playing time.
Perhaps he did not do as well as he would have if RR had adapted to him more, but maybe he also wasn't as motivated as he could have been due to transferring here to play in a pro style system and then haveing the pro style coach retire while waiting for the NCAA to let him back on the field.

He was being punished for off field problems, some sprigning from his friendship with Boubacar Cissico. Unlike some coaches in this state, Rich Rod won't just throw guys out there regardless of the trouble they get themselves into.

I have never seen a coach that can hang on to a job like Fred Jackson.
|3 years 17 weeks ago||Really good||
I'm kind of a noob, I sometimes have a tough time figuring this out, but with the circles on each player the comment is about, It's relly helping me get better at grasping the concepts.
|3 years 18 weeks ago||I agree BUT||
I think this is the one game where, with a frosh QB that was 7 for 27 previously, this is the one game where we should have played tighter and dared them to beat us deep. I'm not sure they would have even tried much. Sadly they did get long passes to complete too, so really it just gets more and more confusiong. Players and coaches on D were both bad.
|3 years 18 weeks ago||With as many mgopoints as you have||
Seems like you would have read the disaster that was the 2007 recruting class. If there were any upperclassman (juniors and seniors) they would have been all Carr recruits this year, and there are none, and defense didn't go through nearly the amount of attrition that the offense did.
Your points are valid with RR, I think around half of the blame falls on him, but the other half falls on Carr. I'm not sure which is the bigger half.
It should be an extrememe case where a coach doean't get 5 years to prove himself. This is bad, but not extreme given the lack of talent due to LC waning at the end.
There is an old saying in CFB that you will lose 1 game for every underclassman you have starting. We are surpasiing expectations in that regard.
|3 years 18 weeks ago||Good idea||
At least then I bet we would see more than a 20% voter turnout for a mid term election, we haven't seen that in my lifetime.
|3 years 18 weeks ago||I think you misunderstood||
I don't think "precariosly close" means our history is almost comparable in having a coaching carousellike ND's if we change coaches now. Instead I think that replacing a coach after just 3 years could put us in a position of standing next to a carosel. Firing an imaginary future coach after RR in fewer than 5 years then be stepping on the carosel. ND has been living on the carosel through all the coaches you mentioned.
|3 years 18 weeks ago||Switching too much midseason, still a bad idea||
Although it's not as dramatic of a change, I liken the position switches to the sudden move to a 3-3-5 scheme before the winnable Purdue game last year.
I think we regressed, an partly becuase of trying to fix an unfixable problem. The ony fix is to recruit more talent and see what happens with more depth. It is tough to tell if its all on the midseason changes, becuase Martin out also had a big impact with such a thin depth chart.
But with a D this weak, why not have an onside kick after the gift 15 yard facemask on the long TD run? Kicking out of the endzone sure didn't help the D prevent the 80 yard TD drive anyway, and you have a chance to help the D with 1 fewer stop needed if it works, and if it doesn't the shorter field means no chance for a 70 yard TD play.

|3 years 33 weeks ago||My Impression||
I was at the same meeting, I am going to be a ticket taker for the first time this year. Human memory is imperfect, but I thought he was saying that they would be looking at the issue of replacing the scoreboards in 2011, not making the actual replacment in that year, although the pharasing may have been a bit ambiguios. I expect that a proposal will go before the regents about the new scoreboards sometime during calander year 2011 that would detail when the project will occur and its cost. They may be working on such a proposal now. Then there would be a proposal to expand seating after that project. For now, they are intent on repainting and expanding most of the bowl seats and widening the aisles and adding handrails over the next 2-3 off seasons.
I would expect proposals for both issues to be presented during that seat re-arranging and widening process and expansion to happen after that is completed. The scoreboards would happen before further expansion, but not before the 2011 season begins.
Just what I took away from the meeting, I could be wrong, I didn't record it.
There is a second meeting for ushers on Aug 7 for those that couldn't be at this one on July 17, perhaps he will restate it and another mgouser will be there.

|3 years 37 weeks ago||What about the center logo?||
I always thought the M in the midfield should be larger with the split block version that says MICHIGAN in blue across the M. I like the Endzones in the full field disply, but I kinda like them the way they are now too. Neither the end zone or the M are big deals as far as tradition to me, not anymore than the press box was and thats gone. We could just have a more modern look now.

A series of 4 books by Wilbur Smith I found very entertaining: River God, The Seventh Scroll, Warlock, and The Quest
For comedy, I like anything by Christopher Moore, the funniest is Lamb - The Gospel according to Biff, Christ's childhood pal.
