were instructed during their potty training years to bid their little turds farewell with "Bye-bye buckeyes" as they flushed.

Parenting 101 my friends.

1 day 7 hours ago Totally agree, M-Wolverine.

Pistons-Celtics was amazing in the late 80's.  Some real hate in that rivalry.  As much as I lived and died with the Pistons fortunes and loathed the Celtics, I always admired McHale.  A complete player.  Great defense, great rebounding, and as you stated, had about a million moves with his back to the basket.  His jump hook was absolutely leathal.

Along with Ainge, Brad Lohaus was always a great choice to have his face caved in.  Damn that was some great basketball!

1 day 8 hours ago I was thinking

mad scientist / evil genius.  The big glasses, beady eyes, grease board full of crazy formulas.

Should be wearing a white lab coat with a background of boiling concoctions, pulsing electric globes and a withered Andy Katzenmoyer hanging from a torture rack on the back wall.

3 days 17 hours ago Now if English and Hart

were jumping out of planes into EMU bathrooms, I would donate to see that.

5 days 7 hours ago Refined Engine of Death.

Still laughing about that reference.  Brilliant.

6 days 8 hours ago Great stuff. Thanks for posting.

Ryan bringing the Red Rain!

I was rocking a red mullet back then.  Absolutely amazing.

GINGERS UNITE!!!  RED ARMY FOREVER!!!

1 week 9 hours ago One of the overlooked

aspects of Gallon's game is Gallon himself.  The guy is stout.  Most mention him being only 5'8, but he's a thick 5'8.  Cornerbacks that he just doesn't zip around aren't able to knock him off his routes because he strong enough to absorb the jam and continue on his way.

Worthy of the #1?  If he was running out of the tunnel wearing it for the opener, would not have a problem with that.

1 week 3 days ago The power of the

Hoke recruiting juggernaut now even trumps graduation / spent eligibility.  The debates over who will wear number 2 are null and void as Woodson returns this fall.  However, the battle over number 1 will be fierce between AC, David Terrell and Braylon.

1 week 3 days ago "Beating us for recruits?"

Are we really "beating" staee for recruits? I don't think so, since that would mean state was actually some competition for a recruit.

"That's never happened before."

Clearly rcmb has members that are only 4 or 5 years old with no knowledge of pre-2008 recruiting.

Even if this poster is being sarcastic, it's still hillarious.

Welcome aboard Mr. Marshall!

1 week 6 days ago Well played, BlockM.

Very clever.  Let's see if it works (awesome pic response) for me as well:

Peppers is such an incredible talent, he could be used on special teams, returning punts and Kunis...

2 weeks 3 days ago Basking in the glow of

an undefeated season and counting the minutes to the next Saturday.  Maybe hit a local watering hole,  watch state fans crash and burn during their loss, have a few laughs.

2 weeks 3 days ago Where's the tassel?

Must be too much like shoelaces for Denard.

Congrats gentlemen!

2 weeks 3 days ago That was a great win.

Mathews will always have that play, and a degree of course.

And Crable.  What a beast he was during his senior year in 2007!  90 tackles with 28.5 TFL.  He was everywhere that year.  In my opinion, he was involved in a couple of images from the great 2006 season that will forever be burned into my brain.

Image #1

What a glorious day that was.  When Quinn finally did get up, he probably couldn't see.  And that was partially due to a giant pelt of sod rammed into to his facemask.

The other image (I will not provide picture because of the never-healing wound) is him being called for one of the worst late-hit calls in history on Troy "Duffel Bag O' Cash" Smith in The Game of the century.

Congrats to both on graduating.  HAIL!

2 weeks 3 days ago Realizing there have been

some poor / risky coaching choices over the years, but why not one more?  Bill Laimbeer.  Since Dumars is already on his last leg in Detroit, no point in avoiding hiring your old teammate anymore.

It would be worth it just for the irony of Phil Jackson being part of hiring one of his old tormentors in Chicago.

Bad Boys Forever!

2 weeks 3 days ago Jeremy LeSueur is the

only player from MIssissippi (Holly Springs) that I can recall.  Sure there are more.

Welcome aboard Mr. Jones.

2 weeks 4 days ago Denard- why waste all

that time flying to Ann Arbor and back and missing some camp?  Just slip on some football spikes and sprint there and back!

Congrats to Robinson.  He and his family should be proud. Nice gesture by the Jacksonville organization for realizing this important accomplishment.

2 weeks 4 days ago Damn!

Hart still looking solid!

In regards to the question, pretty hard to reach the open field without breaking through some tackles first.  Love both, but Hoard- style gets my vote.  Meat grinding and Molar rattling in 2013!

2 weeks 4 days ago This could be proof

of a secret agreement between Hoke and Beilein.

McGary - PF / TE

Gardner - QB / SG

2 weeks 5 days ago All the staff

does is work hard, and be genuine.  What the university is and offers speaks for itself.  A great recipe for success for the coaches and the university.  Hail!

2 weeks 6 days ago Why not a legacy?

How about Tyrone Wheatley Jr.?

3 weeks 8 hours ago Breathtaking.

Two golden crescents and four hash marks.  Will the Burger King napkin this design was submitted to the NCAA  on be kept for posterity?

Eye of Sauron?  Anybody?  Sauron CoFoPoff?

3 weeks 1 day ago In my best southie accent,

Bucky F***ing Dent.

3 weeks 2 days ago Saving the Indiana - Purdue

game must be a huge relief to the 7 fans who attend that game.

Hello College Gameday!

3 weeks 2 days ago Perhaps my view of the Lions

and WCF is jaded, but a lifetime of what he has exposed us to as fans will do that.  For the better part of the last 50 years, the phrase "A fish rots from the head" perfectly sums up Ford's "leadership" of the Lions.

I cringe when Michigan men end up in Detroit.  Most will deserve better than what they will experience in Detroit.  Being able to watch a former Wolverine star more because they are now in Detroit is just me being selfish.  I enjoy seeing them elsewhere because they will be treated as professionals in an organization that actually cares about winning.

I want to believe again, but this doubting Thomas will have to see it to believe it.

Best of luck to Robinson back home in Florida.

3 weeks 3 days ago If the past is any indicator,

we can count on Delany and the university presidents to make decisions and sweeping changes that will please all fanbases and not embarrass the conference on a national level.

3 weeks 4 days ago Rivals camp worth seeing?

Yes- if you:

1.  Head-to-toe maize and blue body paint

2.  Sing "The Victors" non-stop at the top of your lungs

3.  Hide inside tackling dummy

4.  Ask if you can shag fly balls

5.  Bring enough money to post bail

More tequila please.

4 weeks 3 days ago Can someone with far

more computer skills than I (if I had any, I'd do it myself) add a couple of burning couches in the background?

Would be suitable for framing then.

4 weeks 3 days ago So much has been

said about the #1 jersey for these years it has gone unworn, that it is approaching mythical status (somewhat deservedly so).  The person deemed worthy of wearing it will be someone with the obvious elite receiving skills, but also the drive and dedicatlion to carry the honor and burden of this jersey.

Here's to hoping that any current receiver or future receiver will rise to this great honor and challenge!

4 weeks 3 days ago I believe you are right,

GB.  People running into the backs of their own linemen 2 yards in the backfield is called "Play # 1" in Bollman's 1-page offensive playbook.

4 weeks 4 days ago Of course he would want

to visit Michigan.  This is Michigan fergodsakes!  Who wouldn't?!  We don't need him, but you can't blame a kid for wanting to check out A2.

4 weeks 5 days ago This is a wonderful find.

Thanks for posting.

Makes you wonder though.  How out-of-shape must some of the recruits been for Fritz to have to send this out in advance?  No doubt it was for the recruits benefit and Crisler wanting to see them perform well, but wow.  Pretty detailed list of requirements.

Diving onto the ground, landing on your chest?  I would break every bone on the front of my body.

4 weeks 6 days ago How about David Harris?

Both slightly undersized but with amazing ability to read plays and be to the ball in a nanosecond.

5 weeks 10 hours ago O sweet odd year schedule!

Other than the events in Boston (in our thoughts and prayers), this has been a pretty good start to the week.  Harris committing and now season tickets.  Can't wait.

6 weeks 1 day ago Due to the

great recruiting visits that Hand and Peppers had during this streak, I advise you to continue ignoring all personal hygene until national signing day.  Your committment to basketball and football success is appreciated.

6 weeks 1 day ago Tonight men,

we'll be knee-deep in whiskey and hookers.

6 weeks 3 days ago Many thanks,

Don.  Will begin committing to memory.  GO BLUE!!!

6 weeks 3 days ago Hmmm.... Sounds like

another Rich Rod conspiracy at work here.

I've never been on the site enough over the years to notice how often it is updated.  And it would be nice to pour over Hoke's numbers in the future.  Hopefully, it will be updated soon.

Maybe there is a new tab for Hoke teams.  Possibly listed as:  Epic Finger Pointing Era, Return of Manball, or The Short-Sleeved Years.

Also, please forgive me for being an unlearned dolt, but who is the Bentley of the Bentley Historical Library?

6 weeks 4 days ago Just got back from

Founders.  Enjoyed a Porter, Curmudgeon and Oatmeal Stout.  The expansion construction is underway there and should be amazing when finished.  Hail from Brew City!

6 weeks 5 days ago Hanson should be

awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.  As a Lion for his entire, long career, he was loyal and productive during some of the worst teams in NFL history.  May he enjoy a well-earned retirement.

Time for the Lions to draft another kicker for the long haul.  We've had only 2 for the last 33 years (Eddie Murray, Hanson).

6 weeks 5 days ago Hoping Beilein has subs

and gatorade bath late Monday night!

6 weeks 5 days ago RIP Mr. Ebert.

This horrible disease can no longer harm you.  Condolences to his familiy.

Chatster, thanks for this great video.  Great review to a great movie.

6 weeks 6 days ago Is "Braxton Miller"

new slang for "The Bong" , "Elderly Widows" or "The High Notes"?

7 weeks 8 hours ago While Spike may not

go on to become a NBA lottery pick, I forsee a great career at Michigan.  Will be a fan favorite, play with tremendous heart and be a thorn in the side of B1G opponents for 3 more years.  Glad Beilein can see potential where 98% of others cannot.

Amadeo looks like the sad, unforgiving truth- that he will not be in Ann Arbor, but the Armpit of the Midwest for 3 more years- is setting in.

7 weeks 10 hours ago This is great!

Flow charts horsesh**  Love it.

Who's my tiger?  Johnny Wockenfuss.

World Series Champs 2013!!!

7 weeks 1 day ago Thank you. Your landmark

discoveries and research in the the field of Tournament Champion Picks will be celebrated for generations to come.  Einstein who?!?

By the way, how about this week's Powerball numbers?  I'll give you a 20% cut.

GO BLUE!!!

7 weeks 3 days ago A good Burkefest

is the key to a good day.   Washed down with a triple-shot of lore please.

8 weeks 1 day ago GM making some

big money now but is still an incredible value.  He could be paid this as a recruiter alone and would still be worth every penny.

Some of the fine print on this contract:

- Can recruit the Bahamas whenever he deems it necessary.

- Unquestioned use of David Brandon's private jet.

- Unquestioned use of David Brandon's office bathroom.

- Told Fritz Crisler's seat number.

- Super-awesome horseshoe pits intalled in south end zone.

- Allowed to tailgate up to 5 minutes before kickoff.

- Weekly calling of Urban Meyer telling him he faked every defensive call in Florida.

8 weeks 1 day ago Thanks for the advice.

My 11 year-old son and I have been researching this together and appreciate you pointing us in the right direction.  GO BLUE!!!

8 weeks 1 day ago Thanks for this

great story and pictures.  My grandfather was a tail gunner on a B-24 during WWII.  By the time he turned 19, he had flown over 50 missions over Europe.  He's been gone over 30 years now.  Sure miss him.

Does anyone know of a website or location I could do some research on what planes he flew in or what men he served with?  Haven't had much luck getting info on this.  Thanks.

8 weeks 3 days ago As long as we keep winning,

we could wear Carhartt bibs and flip-flops for all I care (or has Oregon football already rolled out that look?).  Atlanta here we come!!!

8 weeks 3 days ago Once again

I will be only a financial donor in the office bracket challenge.  Hoyas in the finals on one sheet, and New Mexico in the Final Four on my other.  OUCH.  Silver lining:  All focus now centered on Michigan advancing since bracket sheets are now fish wrap.  GO BLUE!!!

9 weeks 1 day ago I plan on being there

My bad.  Double post.

9 weeks 1 day ago I plan on being there

early with a trailer full of old couches for sale.  Will charge sparties double after their game.  Should make a small fortune.

As a rule, Michigan is the only team I root for to win.  If seeing the B1G do well is desired as well, root for Valpo to lose.  Or for Iona to lose.  Never allow the words "I want state to win", or "I hope ohio state wins" to be uttered.

9 weeks 3 days ago "I see nothing wrong

with this play."   - Pat Narduzzi

9 weeks 3 days ago Spring football is like

a mirage.  September is still 5+ months away.  Still great to see this.  Thanks for the feed.

Are the recruits that are in town able to watch this?  Not sure if there are rules about it.

9 weeks 4 days ago Great news for both

Mattison and Michigan!  With the glut of talent now arriving yearly coupled with current defenders knowing the system,  Mattison will command an army of destruction.

Across the midwest, with this news B1G offensive coordinators and recruiters are throwing chairs and cursing profusely. *

* Except in east lansing- where this occurs daily anyway.

10 weeks 1 day ago It warms my heart

when young people can look back and see the error of their ways then turn their life around for the better (hopefully much better in AA).

Seems strange that Dantonio and Bollman were not able to convince Drake that he would be the centerpiece of an offensive juggernaut in east lansing.

10 weeks 3 days ago Juwan always had an impressive

post-up game.  Even as a freshman just out of high school, he had a great understanding and command of playing with your back to the basket.  Webber was such an athletic freak of nature, he could impose his will down low.  Howard, was a technician down low and from the free throw lane down, was almost automatic facing the basket with his straight-up, high held jumper.  The two of them together were a thing of beauty.  They worked the high-low feed to perfection.  Howard usually took high percentage shots- of which a great many he converted.

Burke already has a place among the many Michigan greats.  He will join them on the stat sheets as well.

10 weeks 3 days ago Looks like a star

shining above Nik.  I bet it's more than a shooting star.

Here's to hoping the boys make the cover again in about a month.

But first, may Crisler run red with Hoosier blood tomorrow.  Long overdue to break out from these month-long doldrums with a resounding beatdown.  GO BLUE!!!

10 weeks 3 days ago Favorite: Blues Brothers

Great music, performers, cameos and quite funny.  Actually considered a musical.

Underrated:  Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988 version)

Michael Caine and Steve Martin are brilliant.  Great ending twist for first-time viewers.  Can watch this a couple of times a year and always laugh.  Love it!

10 weeks 3 days ago Community work is important.

Wormley is to be commended.

10 weeks 3 days ago "Good" contribution from RS freshmen

I feel is reasonable expectation.  Any RS freshman play that exceeds good or is consistently good is just gravy.  I like gravy-  lots of gravy.

What about Matt Godin?  He had above average size already last season.  With a year of adding muscle and technique, maybe he can bring the gravy.

11 weeks 1 day ago ...and that's all

the time I needed back then!

Who am I kidding- that's all the time I need now!

11 weeks 2 days ago Beauty is in the

eye of the beholder.  I don't care how ugly it is, a win over sparty is always a thing of beauty.

Hopefully we can build on this win for the rest of the season.

On a side note-  anyone in attendance spot any visiting recruits?  I know we had some visitors this weekend, and they were treated to a great win.  Maybe a win on many levels.

11 weeks 3 days ago Ferns shutting

Saban down makes him 1 for 3 in the last few years against Michigan commits.

Good guys:  Poggi and Ferns

Led astray:   Dee Hart

Probably more I just can't remember.

But a can of warm Keystone Light had to be close.

11 weeks 4 days ago Got a haircut yesterday

and my barber gave me a fifth of Du Bouchett Blackberry Brandy.  Enjoying on the rocks.  Watching the Dark Knight Rises.  Slow evening.  Nice.  Great barber.

11 weeks 5 days ago Had a sparty

comment to me today that Michigan is going to be angry and pissed off about the Penn State loss and will take it out on msu on Sunday.  As much as I would love nothing better, I don't know if this team has that in them- yet.

This is a young team and young teams don't get angry so much as they get frustrated, and it shows in their play.  Hopefully with Burke calling the team's heart lacking will spark something that can fuel this young team the rest of the season.  Overall, it has been a great season- one I believe will last late into March.  Let's keep the faith and GO BLUE!!!

11 weeks 6 days ago Playing a team searching

for their first win (conference) makes me nervous.  But after the usual slow start, Burke, THJ and Morgan lead the way in a strong team win.

Memories.

12 weeks 4 days ago I hope the best

for Brink moving on after football.  He was one of the great examples of a player who clearly reaped the rewards of hard work under Hoke, Montgomery and Mattison's line coaching.  Lord willing, may he see no ill effects from this in the future.

This is a tough issue.

12 weeks 5 days ago They make it so easy.

Hollis:  "I watched many different angles..."

Izzo:  "But I didn't appreciate the way it was handled."

This must qualify as front page news in east lansing.  Hillarious.  Surely Hollis is pressing the NCAA to investigate.

12 weeks 5 days ago Dantonio must feel

compelled to hire his "Tragic Hero".

12 weeks 6 days ago How much should be

13 weeks 1 day ago The Big House is

a massive stadium and has been enjoyed by many, but I don't believe that means it is for anytlhing and everyone.  Nothing against the WWE, but Yost, Bo and even marketing master  Don Canham would frown on this.  Just my opinion.

13 weeks 3 days ago Really?

Did Lord Izzo OK this?

13 weeks 3 days ago Well, its been a good run.

Now that little brother has exposed the secret agreement between the entire national media and the Michigan basketball team, we should prepare for a return to "truthful and fair" coverage.

13 weeks 5 days ago There seems to

be a lot of rumors and activity surrounding the East Landfill staff the last few months.  Maybe we just don't hear about it, but none of that appears to be the case with our staff.  Solid and unified.

13 weeks 5 days ago Look at his right hand!

Getting ready to salute his mother behing the bench.

14 weeks 4 days ago Congrats!

Great picture of dad holding these 2 beautiful gifts from above.  Look forward to seeing them at the Big House in the future!  Also, props to mom for the knitting-  and the twins.

14 weeks 4 days ago With this covershot, I think we just

found out the real reason behind the melting of the polar ice cap.

14 weeks 5 days ago The word "Love"

and "Ohio" should rarely if ever be used in the same sentence.  Young Mr. Dawson will be schooled in such matters once he arrives in A2 this summer.

Here are a few accepted examples of using these words appropriately:

- I would love a giant meteor to crash into Columbus, Ohio.

- Most escaped convicts love the "You're welcome here" attitude Ohio offers.

- Buckeye ladies, get into the Horseshoe free when you show your "I love Ohio State" tramp-      stamp.*  (Ages 14-55 only.  Sorry grandma.)

PS:  Apologies to any of the U-M faithful living in Ohio.  God bless you and stay strong.

15 weeks 2 days ago We've plucked recruits from

enemy strongholds before, but wouldn't Cornwell be a strong Oklahoma target as he hails from Norman?  Don't get me wrong- nothing is more satisfying than poaching a top recruit from a competitor's own town- but if we really want this kid, we'll have to lead him out of the Sooner / Longhorn Black Hole.

15 weeks 3 days ago Make sure you follow

proper protocol here.  First, pick the Michigan decal, plate or emblem of your liking- then find a vehicle that will properly display said decal, plate or emblem.

15 weeks 3 days ago Thanks for the pics.

Brings back a lot of great memories.  Some from 20 years ago, some from 2 weeks ago.

15 weeks 5 days ago I imagine Bo had few if any

regrets.  I cannot recall him ever complaining or lamenting publicly that he never won a national championship.  People who put their best into all they do, and do it honestly are content with whatever the outcome is.  For more than 2 decades as our coach- and until his passing- I believe Bo enjoyed well-earned contentment.

Can't wait for the return of more MEAT GRINDING & MOLAR RATTLIN'.

16 weeks 2 days ago Not to diminish

the task at hand today, but should we win, we should move into the #1 spot.  Having that bullseye on your back, it can be just another pressure / burden for a team to bear.  But as tough as the conference is this year, I believe it doesn't even matter.  Whether you're ranked #1 or #100, every Big Ten game is a bare-knuckle slugfest.  Bring on the #1 ranking, step into the ring and try to take it from us.

... and no, Mr. Groce.  I do not want to check out your selection of used mini-vans.

16 weeks 4 days ago Yes it does.

The more the merrier!

17 weeks 6 days ago Last look at these

seniors as collegians.  Most have respresented Michigan well over the years.  Best of luck to all of them in whatever they do from here on out.

I believe Gholston was befriended with the intention of taking him out into the middle of the Arizona desert to be roundly beaten and left there.

18 weeks 1 day ago Excellent.

That financial windfall should about cover all 8 of our 2013 football uniforms.

18 weeks 1 day ago Forgive me not

knowing a great deal about this, but is there an actual award ( $$$ and or trophy ) for winning, or just bragging rights?

18 weeks 2 days ago Welcome back Wings.

Here's a question- does a shortened schedule packed with games favor the Wings?

Though not as old a team as they have been in the past,  not sure if this is a blessing or a curse.

18 weeks 3 days ago Spot on, Brian.

18 weeks 5 days ago Here's a thought...

... Lewan dating Miss Michigan.  Brent Musberger approves- too much.  Kirk Herbstreit swallows his tongue.  Obama and John Boehner seen riding a twosie in DC.  William Gholston undeclares for the NFL for another shot at Lewan.  What does any of this have to do with new banner- nothing!  Time for my meds!  GO BLUE!!!

18 weeks 6 days ago YES!!!!

" Mentioned Long, Jansen and Hutchinson among others..."

Future Michigan linemen will state:

" Mentioned Long, Jansen, Hutchinson and Lewan among others..."

Lewan will take his rightful place among these Michigan legends.

Already can't wait for fall.

19 weeks 6 hours ago Agreed. Once the

O-line gets established and builds on some experience, good things will happen.  Maybe that will be later this season, or maybe next.  But domination will come, and some lucky RB will be running through gaping holes for 6+ yards a crack.   Think early 90's when 3rd stringer Ed Davis was running wild in games.  Yes, it was awesome to have Weatley and Powers rolling up big yardage, but a great O-line can make a wheelbarrow look like a Ferrari ( no dis to Davis- he was great back ).

19 weeks 1 day ago The Beast is Back...

Feels so good to have the basketball back to this level!!!  From this crusty Michigan man- who can remember back to some good years with the likes of Tarpley, Grant, Joubert & co.- this is fun!  Beilein and his staff's patience and hard work are coming to fruition.  Enjoying the ride!!!  GO BLUE!!!

19 weeks 2 days ago They can spell???

Come nightfall, that scene will give way to pagan rituals, book burnings, virgin sacrifice, free tattoos, new car giveaways, and summoning the ghost of Woody.

19 weeks 3 days ago Should Narduzzi leave...

Dantonio's requirements for new DC candidates:

-  must respond well to eternal scowling

- can wash Lord Izzo's car

- strong knowledge of area correctional facilities

- strive for consistent mediocrity

- recruit well in Canada

- can bring Rich Rod back to Michigan

19 weeks 4 days ago What sweet elixir

this win was following the dissappointment of the bowl game.  Not sure how many beat-downs like this we will administer in away games this Big Ten season, but ecouraging to see that we didn't let up even when the game was well in hand against a decimated Wildcat team.

On a sidenote- what color would you call that on the court?  YIKES!  NU is probably looking forward to road games this season.
