it's a major award
|9 hours 17 min ago||Wait.||
What in the world does a car crash in 2007 have to do with a former player spouting off in 2014 about Michigan non-football players (i.e fans)? I lost my dad in 2007 also due to liver failure. Does that mean I get a free pass for saying every Michigan football player the last decade has been less than an expert and mediocre beyond belief? That's basically what Mealer was insinuating.
|10 hours 2 min ago||Thanks, Dave.||
You made a disastrous football hire, but you at least made the facilites nice for Jim Harbaugh.
|10 hours 5 min ago||Elliott Mealer.||
He sucked at the game of football, and in essence, symbolizes everything that is wrong with the Michigan football program. Highly ranked kid that never developed, set the program back a decade, and now shoots his mouth off.
|1 day 10 hours ago||Hell.||
If we're gonna do it right, we might as well wear pink numbers like Oregon did four weeks ago. Then we can totally enjoy the disaster.
|1 day 10 hours ago||The worst part....||
The bad thing is he had the talent to be one of the best. His seven game stretch from late 2012 to Notre Dame 2013 was on par with Heisman QB winning numbers. He lost confidence in his offensive line, and then he lost confidence in his WR's - other than Gallon. He also got banged up due to the offensive line in both 2013 and 2014 which took a huge part of his game away - scrambling.
I don't completely blame him "being a bad QB" on him. He was recruited for the spread. Of course, some of it is his fault. But let's be honest. He rarely has time to throw and when he does, we have nothing but 6'3 receivers that get no separation. He did miss Butt on the pick six vs MSU, but that was a rare occasion where he actually had a little time to throw and a receiver actually got open.
It's sad to see his career failing the way it is, but he will have a Master's Degree from the University of Michigan while facing insurmountable pressure and expectations on the football field. He will do great things. I'm sure of it.
|1 day 13 hours ago||DG.||
Personally, I'll celebrate the career of Devin Gardner. He has been through so much at Michigan. He's had two head coaches, three offensive coordinators, two of the worst offensive lines in the history of Michigan football, played two positions, and given his life to the university basically.
If he can stay healthy, I could see him playing five or six years in the NFL at WR and then moving on to broadcasting or coaching. He's a great individual, and I definitely know he will succeed in whatever he decides to do.
|5 days 16 hours ago||Not going to lie.||
I'm quick to blame coaching when elite talent fails, but I really didn't think the game plan was awful. The execution was atrocious, however. That's mostly on the players.
|5 days 16 hours ago||Can someone.||
Anyone, please explain to me how Blake Countess "earned" the #2 jersey. He's now been displaced as a starter in just another debacle by the Hoke regime.
|1 week 9 hours ago||Promise.||
I can promise you one thing: with General Motors demise in the mitten, there are a ton of us in the South. I went to high school 375 kids in a rural Tennessee high school. Around 35-45 of us were from Michigan, and we all sported the MAIZE & BLUE.
You'd think out of 30+ that actually cared about sports, there would be one Spartan fan..... NOPE. Not a single Spartan fan did I have to put up with. GO BLUE today; GO BLUE tomorrow; GO BLUE forever.

Tomorrow we play Sparty; tomorrow we BEAT SPARTY. *Bud Kilmer, Varsity Blues voice*
|1 week 1 day ago||Titans.||
The Titans did a great service to Lewan by drafting Mettenberger. /s.
The two are together all the time in Nashville which is great, since they both have had legal problems in their past. Mettenberger was already sucker punched at a bar in Nashville while Lewan was present.
|2 weeks 2 days ago||Brady Hoke.||
Why not? The guy cares about player safety, is a football guy, an elequoent speaker, and has 30+ years of NCAA experience. He'd be a homerun hire to run the greatest conference ever known to ESPN. /s
|2 weeks 5 days ago||Halftime.||
There were very few open seats at halftime. It was a fantastic show to see in person.
|2 weeks 5 days ago||Clock management was awful.||
At the end of the first half, Hoke could've called a timeout on 4th down to punt with eighteen seconds left. Instead, he lets the clock run down to three seconds... then sends the punt return team on the field like Penn State is going to punt with three seconds left. It was rather embarrassing.
|2 weeks 5 days ago||Like.||
I actually liked them being there in person as a one off alternative. No harm, no foul, the kids were pumped up, and we won.
|2 weeks 5 days ago||Great atmosphere!||
Happy to be here from TN! It was well worth it.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||The Hoke train:||
Has left the station and ain't coming back.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Driving up from TN.||
Hoping to be so drunk by 4 PM that I don't even realize I'm about to watch a 2-4 Michigan team take on a shell of what Penn State used to be. Should be lots of fun.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Well.||
I'd love to see it, but I've watched both Michigan State and Ohio State play twice, respectively, this season, and I think the combined scores of those two games will be around 81-20, in favor of the bad guys of course. Getting to six wins is dependent on PSU, NW, IU, and Maryland wins. All those games are toss ups. Best guess: 5-7 with losses to MSU, OSU, and NW.
Right the ship with wins over PSU at home, IU at home, and Maryland at home because it snows that day and stops Diggs and Long. Hoke is gone; enter ______ who is saviour of program.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||Wow.||
All he fucking has to say is, "Yes, he's injured," or "No, he's not injured." No one asked him for specifics. We, as fans, might actually care about the players and would like to know if a guy is banged up. Jesus. Christ. He makes it so easy to root against him.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||Drunk.||
Going to eat Waffle House N forget about this piss poor "team"..
|3 weeks 5 days ago||No.||

|3 weeks 6 days ago||So.||
Not to get political, but you are saying Dave Brandon wasn't a good CEO because Domino's stock price fell in the worst recession since the Great Depression?
|4 weeks 9 hours ago||Hell.||
I may just come up and get drunk on the golf course and not even go to the game. I'd probably be in a better mood than watching Senior Day anyways.
|4 weeks 10 hours ago||Only 10th?||
I'm really disappointed with that ranking. I'd prefer us to be first just so it can be yet another sucker-punch to the jaw - no pun intended towards C'Sonte York of course.
|4 weeks 11 hours ago||Pathetic.||
I have officially hit the "do not care" stage and it's October 3rd. How stupid was I to buy a triple game pack for $490 and have to drive nine hours to watch this circus. Sold my Miami (OH) tickets before the season [THANK GOD] for $100 for the pair.
I'll be there for the Penn State game. If anyone wants my Maryland tickets I may give them away for $40 if that's even possible come November. I'll decide after next weekend's debacle. Hellacious way to spend your birthday weekend, huh?
|4 weeks 14 hours ago||In regards to his O-line.||
His system didn't really entail needing a dominant offensive line. If you could stand in front of someone for 0.9 seconds while the QB blast was ran or the screen/pop pass was thrown, you could play offensive line at Michigan from 2008-10.
Not even our HIGHLY TOUTED offensive linemen Hoke has recruited can stay in front of anyone 0.9 seconds right now, and they are required to actually give 3 seconds which doesn't happen often. It's funny you make fun of his offensive line which included Taylor Lewan, David Molk, and Schofield (all of whom are in the NFL).
Please tell me, what three individuals on our offensive line right now are going to the NFL? None, yes none, would be the correct answer.
|4 weeks 1 day ago||The only thing about Shaw.||
The only thing I don't like about Shaw he is somewhat stand-offish with the media at times just like Hoke. He seems to have that stubborn side on him. The Rose Bowl interview two years ago comes to mind where the lady said to him, "are you serious" as he walked away.
|4 weeks 1 day ago||Yeah.||
I don't think Mendenhall would want to leave either. He has BYU on the rise and they get to pick their own schedule every year. He's interesting to me, but I think it'd take a while for him to get it done here simply because we don't have the players to run his system.
|4 weeks 2 days ago||Most likely vs Want (baseless speculation)||
Most likely (all from Harbaugh tree):
|4 weeks 3 days ago||DG.||
He also failed DG last November. We didn't find out he had a broken foot until, like, February when he was still hobbling around.
|4 weeks 3 days ago||Sort of.||
But let's not lie about it - he's by far been the most physical corner on the roster thus far. He's also been tested about five times and won four of them. I'd take 80% from a freshman that loves to hit people any day.
|4 weeks 3 days ago||To be honest:||
I don't think recruiting matters at all right now until we have a coach that can develop a single blocker to block, quarterback to produce, receiver to get even an inkling of separation, defender to defend, or a single soul to cover a punt and cover it well.
Malzone, Runyan, Newsome, and David will probably stay. Weber, Kinnel, and Cole are toss-ups, and the rest are probably gone. Kirkland retweeted a Tennessee fan today saying that Tennessee should get back into his recruitment; Clark is gone; Taylor is gone, and who can really blame them.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||Well.||
I'm going to watch the game, and since it's at night I will be drunk already and it will be much more bearable to watch.
|4 weeks 5 days ago||The bad thing.||
We really cannot afford another transition in philosophy. We need a pro style guy because we don't have a single guy suited for the spread and cannot afford another three year rebuilding phase. That alone takes half the list away.
|4 weeks 6 days ago||Morris.||
Probably has a concussion and a broke foot judging by how he was hobbling.
|5 weeks 12 hours ago||Michigan||
THE MICHIGAN FOOTBALL TEAM will be going 12-2 and will not need the services of a new head football coach. Thanks for coming, see you next year.
|5 weeks 13 hours ago||Yeah.||
AND I'd give up Adidas, a good basketball, cross country, and gymnastics team, respectively, any day of the week to have an elite football program again. You could put the entire athletic department in Hollister for all I care if it leads to wins.
|5 weeks 14 hours ago||Nike. Please.||
We were good in football with Nike. I blame Adidas, I really do.

|5 weeks 1 day ago||John's brother.||

|5 weeks 1 day ago||Most people||
Most of the opinions I've seen on Twitter have been: "it has to be Morris because Hoke would just say it's Gardner if it were going to be him..."
But, I don't think that makes a lot of sense. He wouldn't necessarily just come out and state it was Gardner if it were Gardner. This makes Minnesota prepare for two different QB's. Yes, I know Jerry Kill says "they are preparing as if Gardner will start."
What Jerry Kill won't state is they are preparing (I assume) an alternate (less comprehensive) gameplan for if Morris starts.This definitely makes the Minnesota coaching staff work double time. I think Gardner gives Michigan the best chance to win now, but I think getting Morris valuable snaps for next season is a positive if this season has become a lost cause.
|5 weeks 1 day ago||Personally.||
I'd like to have Jeff Long from Arkansas. I don't know if you've ever been to the state of Arkansas, but if you can lure a guy from a three time defending Big Ten champion to coach in that dump of a state/program, you can probably do a wondrous job at U of M.
|5 weeks 2 days ago||GO BLUE.||
Beat the Gophers.
|5 weeks 2 days ago||I could be wrong.||
I have no idea if President Schlissel would be the one actually hiring a new AD, but I'm not 100% confident in an ivy leaguer who has admitted "sports isn't all that important" to hire an athletic director. Does anyone know if the board of regents has a role in that?
If DB gets the boot, let's get a list of options:
Jeff Long, Arkansas, former administrator at Michigan.
Lloyd Carr, retired, philopsher and Michigan Man.
Any others you can think of that you would trust to run a coaching search?
|5 weeks 2 days ago||Haha.||
Week 4 of the NFL season and Jim Harbaugh's people are stating he has "little interest in coaching college football." I'd hope so seeing as how if his people said "he's dying to go back to coach Michigan," he would have a locker room that hated him the next thirteen weeks.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||.500?||
Let's not give the man too much credit. He was actually BELOW .500 when he came here.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||Naw.||
I'm definitely not that type of guy. Oregon went 11-1 two years prior to that. They went 7-6 the year before and had Kellen Clemons coming back. We still shouldn't have lost to them, but I'm definitely not "that type of guy."
Utah hasn't went to a bowl game since 2011. Let that sink in. They just took us to the woodshed at home. OK, OK? Just making sure. Totally different than Oregon beating us after 11-1 and 7-5 seasons.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||Akron, 2013.||
Not going to lie, I was there (drove nine hours from TN for the weekend), and I was embarrassed walking out. The whole afternoon felt like we had loss. It was just as bad as 2008 Toledo to me.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||His comment:||
"The QB is not the problem, I know a little something about playing QB."
UHHHHHH, Mike, Mike, playing Quarterback is a little different now than when you played Quarterback. Hell, I know a little bit about coaching. I coached powderpuff girls for six years in middle school and high school - doesn't mean I know a little somethin' somethin' about coaching college football.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||Because they are Utah.||
This would have happened last year had we lost to Akron. Utah is a Mountain West program that has sucked in the Pac12, and they just destroyed the winningest college football program of all time in The Big House.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||Yes,||
Please, seven more years for the Hoke-ster. Get it done now when there are NO demands for him. This is called bargain shopping. Hell, we'd probably get him cheaper now than we did four years ago when he was under .500 as a MAC coach.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||Welllllll.||
I'd only agree to Lane Kiffin as Head Coach if he brought along Monte as DC. Monte, being a longtime, younger professional DC, could probably find a way to stop those up-tempo spread attacks. /s
|5 weeks 3 days ago||Welllll.||
I'd only agree to R-Rod as Head Coach if he brought Greg Robinson over to coach the defense - a former head coach who can recruit well and bring us back to glory. /s
|5 weeks 3 days ago||This guy...||
This Henson fellow must not realize THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN FOOTBALL TEAM is winning out to the tune of a 12-2 season and delightful Orange Bowl victory over the likes of the undefeated BYU Cougars. #Sarcasm #Hopeful #ButNotHappening
|5 weeks 4 days ago||Perhaps.||
Maybe someone should've asked Hoke today. I'm sure he would've talked about it in great detail. /s
|5 weeks 4 days ago||Yep.||
And I'm actually picking Michigan to go 12-2 this week. WD, I'm trying to be an optimist again - just go along with it.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||So.....||
This may not be the best time, but if any of you remember me saying in March that Michigan football/basketball may not lose a game again until 2027 -------- I was wrong. My apologies.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||We should be fine.||
They were better last year, we were the same team (basically), and we beat them 42-13. I'm going to say 28-10, Michigan.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||Lol.||
"Bowls, bowls? I just hope we win another game. And you wanna talk bowls." -Jim Mora Sr.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||Stop.||
Dave Brandon will evaluate after the season, and yes that means after we get drilled in our bowl game to finish 6-7 - when all the good coaching candidates will already be off the board.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||So what now?||
We put our Michigan gear on every Saturday and take our beatings. That is life, but we get back every Sunday after the beating.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||Yes.||
Everything was peachy after the Sugar Bowl win with no rumors, fighting, etc. etc. All you have to do is win, and that shouldn't be that difficult at a place like Michigan.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||Funchess.||
He'd be a top 10 pick if he could consistently catch the football.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||Exit...||
Exit Brady Hoke, enter Kliff Kingsbury.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||Lol.||
Is it bad I'd envy to be in Notre Dame's shoes right now?
|5 weeks 5 days ago||Hey guys.||
Just stopping by to say every team that played in the B1G today won - besides us, but that's okay since we were playing a NFL factory like Utah.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||Morris.||
His issue doesn't seem to be accuracy (as recruitniks suggested) as much as decision making. He has such a strong arm that he basically forces everything.
|5 weeks 6 days ago||Malzone.||
He'll probably start in 2015 - not that I even want to think about Michigan football's direction.
|6 weeks 9 hours ago||13-1||
The Michigan football team is going 13-1 this season, and they ain't a damn thing Kyle Whittingham, Mark Dantonio, or Urban Meyer can do about it. /s (only in my grammar, not the 13-1 thing).
|6 weeks 9 hours ago||Give Brandon a raise.||

Wish I could make it up to A2 this weekend. Nice little entertainment to start the day and **hopefully** some good football being played.
|6 weeks 1 day ago||No.||
I don't think he'll "lose his job for losing to Utah." If he loses to Utah, he WILL lose to Michigan State, Ohio State, and at least one more Big Ten team because Utah, in all honesty, in not that talented. That puts him at 7-5 - best case - which is not good enough for him to keep his job, IMO.
|6 weeks 1 day ago||No.||
If he loses, it's the beginning of the end, and we all know it. If he wins, we were supposed to anyways.

|6 weeks 2 days ago||Man, that will be fun.||
Jim Harbaugh vs. Kliff Kingsbury. I cannot wait.
|6 weeks 3 days ago||Oversigning.||
I agree it plays a big role, but 1.) The NCAA does not care. 2.) The SEC sends two times the underclassmen to the NFL that the B1G does. So while it may not look good to sign 25 every single year, it doesn't look all that bad when you think that the Alabama's and LSU's typically send three of four underclassmen per team, respectively, each year to the league.
If you're asking me would I rather have Nick Saban oversigning and winning or Brady Hoke signing fifteen/year and losing, I'll take Nick Saban at $10 million dollars/year any day.

|6 weeks 3 days ago||Walmart Wolverine Mantra.||
Born in Ypsi, relocated to Tennesseee at the age of three months (THANKS GM), a MTSU Blue Raider graduate, but an entire spare bedroom in my apartment (I'm only 23) devoted to Michigan. I go to Ann Arbor twice a year and any bowl game located from Louisiana to Florida. Two jerseys, sixteen "M" shirts (yes, I counted), two pairs of "M" shorts, two pairs of "M" joggers, three sweaters and two "M" jackets in the closet.
I've had to endure Tennessee and SEC fans my entire life, which admittedly is probably just as bad as you having to endure with the two Spartan fans you probably know. I could not afford out of state tuition, so Michigan was never an option for me. My mom (who lives in Lansing now) has pictures of me in 1994 in a #21 Michigan uniform.
I'm so thankful for my mom and dad raising me right and teaching me what a great institution the University of Michigan is. I'm thankful they instilled a tradition of watching Michigan every Saturday (even when we had to order Michigan vs. Purdue in the 90's and early 2000's for $4.99 because ESPN was playing Kentucky vs. Vanderbilt in our area.) No Spartan will ever degrade me with a label just because I was raised right and they weren't, especially when I know more about THEIR team than they probably do.
Go blue today; go blue tomorrow; go blue forever.
|6 weeks 4 days ago||B1G.||
The Big Ten has been atrocious as of late, but it has not always been that way. The SEC hates the Big Ten, because the Big Ten was VERY competitive with them through 2007. Herbstreit mentioned in the offseason how the B1G actually had a leg up on the SEC in the ten years prior to 2007.
I believe we even had a diary by LSA not to long ago that showed how competitive the conference was compared to the south. The SEC became dominant because of one reason: coaching. The Midwest coaching tree (Saban, Miles, Pinkel, Bielema, Mullen, James Franklin, Kevin Sumlin, and many up and coming assistants) embarked on a journey through the South while the Big Ten coaches were getting older. It has left the Big Ten with terrible coaching ever since.
The Big Ten would be fine right now if Bielema, Miles, Meyer, Sumlin, Franklin, Dantonio, Tressel (Illinois should seriously consider him after this season), and Greg Schiano were all still pacing a B1G sideline. Instead we've had to watch MAC/WAC level guys like Brady Hoke, Danny Hope, Gary Anderson, Kyle Flood, and Tim Beckman lose all respectability for an entire conference.
The Big Ten can get back to elitism by getting coaches back in the Midwest (where they would've never left had they been paid better). A league with Jim Harbaugh, Jim Tressel, Urban Meyer, James Franklin, Mark Dantonio, and a guy like Dan Mullen going to Nebraska would go a LONG WAY to getting the conference back to respectability.
|6 weeks 4 days ago||Navy.||
I wouldn't really consider them a "cupcake." They win nine games a year and would probably win the Big Ten West this season.
|6 weeks 6 days ago||How long?||
How long until players in the NFL start saying "Rich Rod's Michigan" like Braylon did with "Lloyd Carr's Michigan"?

The kid had the opportunity to get out of Detroit and make something of himself. Instead, he gets in trouble [again] and will probably be playing football at Wayne State (if they even take him.) It sounds like he would have problems no matter where he went, but I definitely don't see his problems going away with him staying in Detroit.
|7 weeks 9 hours ago||Yeah.||

|7 weeks 1 day ago||GO BLUE.||
|7 weeks 1 day ago||I did my part.||
I sold my two tickets to Michiganders for $100 for the pair -- before the season. Thankfully I did that. It came with the ticket package to PSU and Maryland games. I think it will be close, but I'm going to say announced attendance will be around 101,000 with probably 94,000 actually in attendance.
|7 weeks 2 days ago||I live in TN.||
And the perception of Michigan is simple: "they suck because they play football in the North." I'm 23 and kids my age who grew up in the TN remember three things about Michigan.
1.) Charles Woodson "stole" Peyton Manning's Heisman which supplanted the hatred.
2.) Tennessee crushing Michigan in 2001.
3.) Michigan losing to Appalachian State.
Those three things make Michigan one of the most hated and "overrated year in and year out" teams in the country to southernors. Nine out of ten SEC fans hate Michigan, Ohio State, and Notre Dame and think all three are overrated and would finish 10th, 11, and 12th every year in their conference.
Admittedly, none of the three helped their causes getting blown out by Mississippi State, Florida, LSU, Alabama and Alabama again since 2006,

|7 weeks 4 days ago||Pathetic.||
Everything, for the most part, that came out of Fort Schembechler today was in regards to the fans and our attitudes toward this team. It's like Brady Hoke and his players wanted to blame us for them getting shit-kicked in South Bend.
|7 weeks 4 days ago||Not even close.||
In all fairness to Joe Paterno, he did what he was supposed to and reported it to the higher ups - both the athletic director and Director of campus PD. It's not Joe Paterno's fault that Campus PD nor the administrators did their job.
So to say he "turned a blind-eye" is complete bullshit to be quite honest with you. Legally, he did all he was bound to do. He also had a not-so-great second hand report of ONE incident in which he had ZERO evidence of being able to prove.
Can you even imagine being in his shoes? You have to turn one of your friends/co-workers (of 15 years) in on a tip (that you don't even know is true). He did exactly what he was supposed to do, and I commend him for being brave enough to not only take that to his AD but the head of campus security as well.
|7 weeks 4 days ago||Pinstripe bowl.||
That sounds about right with our inability to win a road game and our expected "drop a home game we should win" like Nebraska a year ago. 7-5 or 8-4 should surprise no one after the debacle in South Bend.
|7 weeks 4 days ago||Harbaugh.||
Harbaugh would be a homerun hire, but if he doens't want the job then I don't give a damn about "anyone having ties to Michigan." Go hire the best candidate who has a vision for Michigan. If the alumni can't get on board with that, we might as well not even expect Michigan to be good again - let alone great.
|7 weeks 4 days ago||B1G Championship Game.||
It will be a barnburner. Minnesota beats Maryland in the B1G Championship game in front of 37,500.
|7 weeks 5 days ago||Small difference.||
A minor difference between Alabama and Michigan's tradition is it didn't hurt that Nick Saban's first three classes had 85 members. There is also a difference in getting four stars ranked 100-250 and getting southern level four stars in the 1-100 range.
|7 weeks 5 days ago||Michigan.||
Because we proved ONCE AGAIN that this team sucks and the program is on a steep decline.
|7 weeks 5 days ago||Yeah.||
I was there and it was the ugliest game I've ever watched in a BCS setting. Both teams would have 6-6 in the SEC that year.
|7 weeks 5 days ago||Trajectory?||
Downward, and fast. We may go 9-3 because we play in the Big Ten, but I assure you if we played in the PAC 12 or SEC, this team would never win more than six games.
|7 weeks 5 days ago||Yep.||
The Big Ten will not reverse the trend until they get coaches that can go into the south and west and RECRUIT their asses off. Let's face it: Midwest HS football can't play with the south. Go look at a state by state analysis of four and five stars.
|7 weeks 5 days ago||Yep.||
Big Ten football is almost as bad as watching the WNBA. The talent is atrocious in the Midwest. The state of Florida produces nearly four times the amount of four/five stars as Ohio which is admittedly the deepest state in the rust belt.
|7 weeks 5 days ago||Legend'a jerseys:||
I was a fan at first, but I hate how it's been handled. Kids switching mid year/mid-career is a terrible idea.
|7 weeks 5 days ago||Hoke.||
If he's gone after this season and Harbaugh doesn't want the job, where would even turn? There isn't exactly a commodity of young coaches out there dying to get to Ann Arbor.
|7 weeks 5 days ago||Coaching.||
|7 weeks 5 days ago||Hoke.||
Have you ever heard his public speaking skills? Less is more and less is a good thing with him.
|7 weeks 5 days ago||Hope everyone supports them.||
But let's be honest, they were having issues with tickets before last night. I expect maybe 85,000 in the stadium vs Miami (OH).
|7 weeks 6 days ago||Wow.||
What a joke.
|8 weeks 15 hours ago||They are going to be heartbroken.||
They are going to be dismayed at the result this season, because I truly feel our talent level is three touchdowns better than their talent level. First road game and youth will keep it to ten, but we should win nonetheless. Michigan 34 | Notre Dame 24.
|8 weeks 15 hours ago||We all know!!!||
It's going to be MICHIGAN on top AGAIN, MICHIGAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *In the somewhat words of BO*
|8 weeks 1 day ago||Miami (OH).||
Yeah, they were awful a year ago. Honestly, I'd prefer Michigan to go away from the MAC for a little while. I like how our schedule sets up in the next few years with playing Oregon State, Utah, UNLV, BYU, SMU, Air Force, and Cincy.
The matchups vs CMU, WMU, and EMU have been played out. Obviously, I want to see us play two good matchups, nine B1G games, and then somewhat of a cupcake. I don't want to see the same teams over and over from the same region again.
Throw in somewhat competitive teams from around the country every year: Marshall, Colorado State, Army, and Houston are all teams that had some success in the past and would be a welcome away from playing the typical MAC opponent.
|8 weeks 1 day ago||Florida.||
Florida's first two home games are against Idaho and Eastern Michigan. Dave Brandon looks like a goddamn genius getting us Miami (OH) and Utah at home.
|8 weeks 1 day ago||Honestly.||
I'm a little bit jealous of Ohio State's 2023 schedule: Boston College, Texas, @ Notre Dame. That's as solid as you should expect a college football schedule. Throw in Michigan and Penn State and they are playing four of the most storied programs in the history of college football. If Nebraska is a cross over in 2023 for them, they will have the toughest schedule in the country in all likelihood.
|8 weeks 1 day ago||Wow.||
How great would it be for Pat Haden to hand Notre Dame a cancellation of series notice five minutes before kickoff this season. I would be joyful, no doubt about it. Then Notre Dame could continue on their national schedule tour with the San Jose State's and Rice's of the world.
|8 weeks 1 day ago||We're more talented.||
I truly believe we are more talented than Notre Dame by a pretty wide margin. With that being said, I have no idea how this game will go, because there are still so many unknowns (first road game, can we run effectively, can the defense adjust to tempo).
I'll go with Michigan winning 37-27. Gardner throws for 300. We get a 3.5 YPC average in the run game, Frank Clark and Joe Bolden get a sack, and we pick off Gholson twice.
|8 weeks 2 days ago||Of course this game is relevant.||
I think the only two groups of people who claim this game isn't relative are the Notre Dame fans who need an excuse for the rivalry to end and SEC fans who think both Michigan and Notre Dame suck because "they play football above the Mason-Dixon line so they must suck."
|8 weeks 3 days ago||Funk.||
To be honest, the running game had its moments of looking like 2013, but we were able to get huge chunks of yards whiched help the average. I just want to see PROGRESS from week to week. Last year we regressed just about every wee at a few positions. We should be better this week, then the next week, then the next week.
By the time late October rolls around, we should be running full steam. The only way we should be defeated is if the opponent is truly better than us......... and we play in the Big Ten, so in other words, we should have more talent than just about every team we play besides Ohio State.
|8 weeks 3 days ago||Fitzgerald:||
I'm really assuming he is completely safe for at least another two years. I cannot see Northwestern getting anyone better than him. He played there, he's made them competitive, and he knows the standard of academics first. The only guy I could have seen them going after that could fill Fitzgerald's post and have the same credentials would have been Derek Mason at Stanford, but he's at Vanderbilt now, obviously.
|9 weeks 14 hours ago||That's really not in hindsight.||
There were maybe twelve people on this board who bought into the "he is Mark Ingram 2.0" speech. The rest of us all figured a scholarship would've been better suited elsewhere than a 5'10, 220 pound guy with 4.7 speed and no lateral quickness.
Also, not to say recruiting rankings are always right, but when Michigan is taking the 1000th ranked player in the country during a crucial transition period, you know it's never a good thing. I just always felt he was a MAC level talent that would've been a nice preferred walk-on. Definitely happy he's in a place where he can finally have some success.
|9 weeks 15 hours ago||That's awesome.||
In all honestly, that's where he should have been in the first place. He was definitely a MAC level back coming out of high school.
|9 weeks 15 hours ago||Definitely.||
Great call. It was a massacre of SEC'ian proportions. I enjoyed it.
|9 weeks 15 hours ago||ONE DAY.||
ONE DAY LEFT, and I need some good football after sitting in the stands and watching Temple demolish the Commodores of Vandy. Here's to hoping for a 63-0 win over the Mountaineers of The Appalachians!
|9 weeks 1 day ago||TV ratings||
We aren't competing with much as far as most watched game in the noon hour, but I'm assuming Beth Mowins will be enough to push Navy vs Ohio State as the most watched noon game. That's a game with actual storylines: Braxton out, Navy pretty good, Urban Meyer. All we have to sell is the Michigan brand seeing as how no one in America has even heard of a little school like "Appalachian State." /s
|9 weeks 1 day ago||The Dudley.||
I'll be in Nashville tonight at Dudley (Vanderbilt Stadium) watching Temple take on the Commodores of Vanderbilt.
|9 weeks 1 day ago||It's close.||
I can't decide between The Program and Varsity Blues - probably The Program since Michigan beats the vaunted ESU Timberwolves.
|9 weeks 1 day ago||Yep.||
We moved here with Saturn in 1991 and my mom moved back in January 2010 to work at the Lansing plant.
|9 weeks 1 day ago||Mowins announcing?||
Damn, just another reason I wish I was living in Michigan and could go to the game.
|9 weeks 2 days ago||Lol.||
No one will care how Dave Brandon rakes in the cash when Jim Harbaugh and his $7.5 million are walking the sidelines in 2015.
|9 weeks 2 days ago||Wish I would've lived in Michigan.||
Wish I would've lived in Michigan during high school to get in-state tuition. There was no way I could have afforded out of state. Thanks a lot, General Motors. We relocated to Tennessee when I was a "young-en" in 1991.
|9 weeks 2 days ago||Douglas.||
He moved to slot receiver like two weeks ago. Hoke said he's talented and they want to find a way to get him on the field eventually. I'd expect him to make an impact in 2015 at the slot.
|9 weeks 2 days ago||Offensive line.||
Well get ready for a long year. Our 6'1, 290 pound walk on would start at RG if the game were played today. I hate all things right now.
|9 weeks 3 days ago||No issues.||
I've used StubHub for about ten events. All electric download and have never had anything go wrong.
|9 weeks 3 days ago||So after a glance:||
AND seeing a 5-11, 270 pound guard, I'm anticipating a 63-7 blasting of epic proportions.
|9 weeks 3 days ago||Should not matter to us.||
The lowest bowl Michigan should play in over the next decade better be the Pinstripe Bowl, and that better be only a one time thing if it happens. Roses, Oranges, and Sugar are what we as a fan base deserve every year, IMO.
|9 weeks 3 days ago||What, huh, what?||
Appalachian State? Never heard of them. Already looking forward to the Notre Dame game.
|9 weeks 3 days ago||Not sure.||
Think he was going to be one of those put him at nickel, see how he does and if not move him to safety like they did Dymonte. Everything I heard was he was a corner, but that obviously could change.
|9 weeks 3 days ago||Damn.||
Better to happen now as opposed to late in the season. Was he planning on enrolling early? Would be good for him to get with the U-M trainers from Jan-May for rehabbing.
|9 weeks 3 days ago||One great thing.||
No game on the schedule is deathly terrifying. We can win every game we play. We can also lose about six games we play in. If the offensive line can pick up a blitz and is 2011 worthy, 10-2 is definitely not out of the question. If they look like they did in the scrimmage, 6-6 is not out of the equation.
|9 weeks 3 days ago||15-0.||
|9 weeks 6 days ago||Vanderbilt.||
Their football stadium is virtually a glorified high school stadium. I think MTSU's Floyd Stadium twenty miles away is nicer and they are Conference USA.
|9 weeks 6 days ago||I love Denard.||
But going 2-6 vs Ohio State and Michigan State does not give you "the right" to say whatever you want about Michigan football.
|10 weeks 3 hours ago||Great news.||
The only bad news is our fan base will go irate if he drops one. Let's remember he's still a freshman.
|10 weeks 13 hours ago||Disappointing.||
But expected and not a shocker by any stretch of the imagination. Would have been nice to get a kid from the south, but Tennessee admittedly does not generally produce high level talent. We'll move on and hopefully land Bilal or Masina.
|10 weeks 13 hours ago||Lorenzo?||
or Lendale White? I don't remember a Lorenzo so I'm just asking.
|10 weeks 15 hours ago||De'Veon Smith||
Man, he reminds me of a taller Maurice Jones-Drew. He has some bounce ability in regards to breaking tackles.
|10 weeks 15 hours ago||Hell yes!||
Here's to the last weekend before Michigan begins their pursuit for another national championship - it's happening, people!
|10 weeks 1 day ago||BTN.||
They did play the 2011 U-M vs Nebraska game about a week ago. That was at least a small change up. I've never seen them play the 2012 Sugar Bowl, hardly do they ever play the 2012 game vs MSU, or the 2003 OSU game which would all be more enticing to watch than 2009 vs ND.
|10 weeks 1 day ago||Well.||
Technically he inherited a 7-6 program, so in reality he has taken a 7-6 program and continued that excellency - until 2014-15 when we go 15-0.
|10 weeks 1 day ago||Guess what ladies and gentlemen?||
Harbaugh will be the coach of Michigan next year but only because we are about to go 15-0 in 2014; therefore, Brady Hoke will be headed to the NFL........... and yes, Urban Meyer from 2012 was my source.
|10 weeks 1 day ago||I've never been a complete homer.||
I don't think this is really that crazy. I really don't. This team has ONE question: can the offensive line block? 5th year senior QB, talented RB's, the best WR in the B1G, eight defensive linemen who have played significant snaps at Michigan, every LB that played a year ago is returning, four CB's who have played significant snaps, and a returning starter at the safety position all return.
There are a lot of teams that have more question marks than Michigan. The only problem is Michigan's issue could derail their entire season. If the offensive line cannot hold up, it stalls the entire offense which puts the defense on the field longer. But in reality, like I said, basically every team has more issues than Michigan. Michigan's issue is the most important - however - along with Ohio State's offensive line issues.
Michigan State has to replace their linebacking corps and their 1st round corner.
Ohio State has to worry about fixing their back seven on defense and replacing Miller, Hyde, and four offensive linemen.
Iowa has to replace their entire LB corps and they don't have a QB.
Nebraska has injury problems, their defense sucks (beside when they played U-M a year ago), and they have to replace Martinez.
Wisconsin must replace Borland and Abbredaris (no simple task). They, too, do not have a decent QB.
***So as you can see, I like Michigan. But then again, who doesn't on this board? Lol.
|10 weeks 1 day ago||Receiving corps:||
They should much improved this season if the offensive line can hold up. Funchess and Darboh can both go up and get the ball, Canteen can take the top off the defense, Chesson is a nice possession style receiver.
|10 weeks 2 days ago||I think.||
Could be totally wrong but didn't Notre Dame do this same trip and go 4-0? I thought I saw somewhere where they went 4-0 and played Vicenza as well - which leads me to believe they made the same trip and crushed the same opponents also.
|10 weeks 2 days ago||All of the above.||
+ Dave Brandon destroying Michigan athletics. No one has mentioned that in about twelve minutes.
|10 weeks 2 days ago||Lol.||
I'll probably be doing what I'll be doing during the season as well. Actually, doing what every 23 year old bachelor should be doing - drunk in a Nashville bar singing karaoke!
|10 weeks 2 days ago||Yep.||
I posted the stats on that a few months ago. I remeber we are like 50-41 since his passing, but we were like 73-21 in the seven years prior to his passing. He was the rock that kept the program in line.
|10 weeks 2 days ago||Not at that moment:||
But everytime I hear this Lloyd Carr speech, I get a little choked up: "You have left... a wonderful legacy, for every team that ever follows you. Youuuuuu, just won, the national championship."
|10 weeks 2 days ago||Agreed.||
But the reason I think it is worrisome is not for fear of him not panning out, but the mere fact that we are limited at quality safety options if he doesn't pan out. Truth be told, I wouldn't mind seeing Countess move back to safety if he is indeed behind Peppers, Lewis, and Taylor. Stribling would be able to hold his own as a 4th CB.
I know Countess is only 5'10, 185, but Jeremy Clark is razor thin also at 6'4 200 pounds.
|10 weeks 3 days ago||Not Really.||
UCF is your defending Fiesta Bowl Champions, Wisconsin is, well Wisconsin, and Penn State is going to be national championship worthy by 2016 with James Franklin and Christian Hackenburg in year three. Throw in a Pac12 opponent which should be better in Colorado and no cupcake in Maryland and that's actually a pretty solid home lineup.
What do you want, a NCAA 2014 lineup of playing Notre Dame, Florida State, Texas, and USC all at the Big House? For not being able to control where rivalry games are played, that is a pretty decent lineup IMO.
|10 weeks 3 days ago||Very doubtful||
Very doubtful any of the big names would be in play. Vanderbilt, at least under James Franklin, didn't play a team with a heartbeat out of conference. When they did, (Northwestern, 2012), they lost and then cancelled their series with OSU. Personally, I'd love to see Syracuse, but I'll be realistic and say that San Diego State would be a logical choice for Dave B.
|10 weeks 4 days ago||Great.||
He's clearly been reading this board. I've been talking about a 15-0 campaign since April.
|10 weeks 4 days ago||Yep.||
I think that was inevitable no matter what Hoke said about "going through the process."
|10 weeks 4 days ago||This season.||
I'm just looking forward to watching Devin Gardner hoist the Heisman Memorial Trophy come December. You heard it here first.
|10 weeks 4 days ago||Misleading.||
He is false in the Canteen "was a consensus three star." Canteen was 4 star to Rivals and Scout, but he was a 3 star to ESPN and 24/7. He was actually a composite 4 star on 24/7 however - thus not a consensus three star.
|11 weeks 8 hours ago||Not much.||
I really don't even know if Michigan would consider any of their commits. Crawford's ship has sailed, Boykin (maybe if York is kicked off the team), Barajas if we miss out on our other targets. I would think this would help us with Asmar Bilal more than anything.
|11 weeks 8 hours ago||The worst part:||
The first game really does not mean anything to me this year. After we stomped CMU last year 59-9, I thought for sure we were on our way to the Rose Bowl. I truly expect us to win like 41-13, and it really won't make me feel any more confident in the season. Truth be told, I know I'm overlooking a few games, but I think the first time I'll feel good about the season is if we are 8-0 or 7-1 after East Lansing.
If we leave East Lansing at 7-1 or 8-0, I fee confident we will head to Columbus 10-1 at worst.
|11 weeks 10 hours ago||Great thread to pass the time:||
LSU and Oregon. I could see us playing at both of those places.
|11 weeks 15 hours ago||Today is a great day!||
It's Friday and I will never complain about that. Wish I could make the open scrimmage tomorrow. Seeing as how I'm countless miles away, I'll just go golfing and daydrink some whiskey. That's the American thing to do.
|11 weeks 1 day ago||Cole.||
He's definitely not going to redshirt. Hoke was asked about the "separation between the classes" in his 8/12 press conference and he responded: "No, we don't think about that at all. You have to have the best players play and ready to play, if you don't have [the best players playing], you cheat this great program and we're not gonna do that."
|11 weeks 1 day ago||It's not a spring game.||
Why would OSU be laughing? I mean getting 30,000 to an open practice before school even starts is nothing to laugh at. There are some schools that dream of getting 30,000 at a home game, let alone a practice. Did OSU have a big practice or something that I may have missed?
|11 weeks 2 days ago||Agreed.||
It seems so easy for USC to come to the midwest and take a 4/5* away but it seems so hard for Michigan and Ohio State to land primetime Californians. Notre Dame gets one basically every year - which surprises me somewhat.
|11 weeks 2 days ago||Can't wait.||
I never thought I'd see the day where I have more anticipation for Michigan basketball than Michigan football. Hopeful that football can get the job done, expecting that basketball will get it done no matter what. Walton, LeVert, Irvin, Chatman, Donnal, Wilson, Doyle, and SPIKE give me a great deal of hope.
|11 weeks 2 days ago||Kind of.||
Theorettically yes, but in a way: no. If the athletic department tries to sell them for less, that would lead me to believe the athletic department believes they have no chance of selling the ticket through their traditional route.
In that scenario, it would be better for the athletic department to get whatever they can on stubhub as opposed to having the tickets just sit there and leaving seats empty.
|11 weeks 2 days ago||Triple game packs:||
My triple game pack arrived yesterday, and I already sold my Miami (OH) tickets for $50/ticket. I was happy to take a small hit. I'll still get to see the Penn State and Maryland games, and depending on how we look, I may try to get to Northwestern this year as well.
|11 weeks 3 days ago||No.||
I think we've both misconstrued some things. I said it gives Michigan a home field advantage when [people get up and cheer]..... which happens everytime Seven Nation Army plays. So I'm not necessarily stating that Seven Nation Army is a reason we won 19 in a row at home, I'm stating that the place becomes a frenzy when it starts up which leads to a loud Big House and better atmosphere.
If you (or any other Michigan bretheren) can think of a way to actually get some of the "I'm too good to cheer at a football game" alumni to get on their feet, I'm all for it. Hell, if you can get them on their feet without piped in music, I'm all for it. I don't care how it's done. I just hate driving 600 miles for a football game to be frowned upon because I stand up and cheer for my team when they play Akron.
Sometimes I feel as if I will be scorned if I stand up at the Big House when we are on defense and it's first down. Seven Nation Army seems to be the only thing that keeps people on their feet, but like I said if you can find something better than I'll personally write a letter to Dave to make the change.
|11 weeks 3 days ago||Wellllll.||
That goes back to point two I made about living in the 1920's. Michigan won lots of football games when Woodrow Wilson was president. We won so many games, I'm surprised the University of Chicago and Case Scientific School even have good football programs now-a-days.
Come on man, there are a lot of things to complain about these days. Michigan's home record under Brady Hoke is not one of them. 19-2 over the last three seasons says Seven Nation Army hasn't destroyed Michigan football.
|11 weeks 3 days ago||Wow.||
You're a student athlete at one of the top 25 universities in the world and you throw it away just like that. Pitiful, man, just pitiful.
|11 weeks 3 days ago||In the minority here.||
I'm in the minority here, but I've liked basically everything the athletic department has done under Dave Brandon. Like we discussed the other day, there is a bit of a generational gap when it comes to most of this stuff.
I'm twenty-three (23). I love when they play Seven Nation Army, because you know, it actually gives Michigan a home field advantage when people stand up and cheer during a football game. You're not at church, you're at a football game. That may be crazy to you older Michiganders.
I like alternate uniforms (yes, even the bumblebee ones) because it's a breath of fresh air to a program that still lives in the 1920's.
I don't like neutral site games (in football), but guess what, it's about damn near impossible to get a legitimate team to come to Michigan Stadium. So yes, I'd rather watch Michigan play Florida in Dallas than watch Michigan play Akron at home in front of 95,000 which they claim is 108,000 due to the [actual] tickets sold.
I live in Tennessee so admittedly the hockey thing doesn't impact me. I'm not driving 600 miles for a hockey game unless I'm already there for something. I loved the Big Chill, and I really like the idea of Michigan playing in Chicago. It's not as if MSU is not coming to Yost in 2014-15. From what I understand, they are for one game. A second game (as always) will be virtually a home game at Joe Louis for anyone that lives near Ann Arbor.
Most importantly, I don't mind paying a little more for a ticket that's going to help with better facilities - that will basically allow us to keep up with the Alabama's, Ohio State's, and USC's of the world. Realistically, the only thing I haven't liked of Dave Brandon is his handing of Rich Rod's final days and the recruitment of Jim Harbaugh or Les Miles. He should have thrown $6.5 million at either candidate in December of 2010 and then I probably wouldn't be worried today if we're going to do better than -48 in East Lansing this season.
|11 weeks 3 days ago||Can't wait.||
If this team even has a pulse on offense, they will go into Columbus and win. They nearly did it a two years ago until Al Borges decided to run Vincent Smith into a wall of eleven defenders over and over and over again.
|11 weeks 4 days ago||2017?||
How is that even ranked? These kids were freshmen a year ago. I'm guessing about 20% of them started last year?
|11 weeks 4 days ago||Hoke.||
Didn't Hoke say a few years ago he wanted to go back to two captains generally? I could just be imagining that, but if it's only two: I'd say Gardner and Ryan.
|11 weeks 4 days ago||Exactly.||
That's a huge issue. No one, not even the coaches, can put a decent lineup together because we don't even know if Glasgow is a center or tackle. We don't know if Dawson is a LG or a RT. We definitely don't know what Mags is because he's played three positions since August 5th.
It's just baffling to me. I couldn't imagine Lloyd Carr playing Jake Long at LT on day 1, RG on day 2, RT on day 3 and settling for LT on day 4. That just seems like MAC level coaching to me.
|11 weeks 4 days ago||Yep.||
I'm the same way. Like I don't mind different groups to see what works best and have guys fight for positions, but how is Erik Magnuson supposed to be the best LT he can be if he practices at LT on Monday, LG on Tuesday, and RT on Wednesday. How is David Dawson supposed to compete at guard if he's a LG one day, RT the next day and RG the next.
It just seems odd that everyone is all over the place. Wouldn't it make more sense to say, "OK, our tackles are Magnuson, Braden, and Cole. Our Guards are Dawson, Kalis, and Bosch. Our centers are Glasgow, Miller, and Kugler. Go win your job."
|11 weeks 4 days ago||Very thorough.||
I'm going to take a different approach:
1.) Quarterbacks - We return Gardner whom got crushed all year and still threw for 3000 yards and accounted for 32 TD's.
2.) Linebackers - Ryan, Ross, Bolden, and Morgan have all played a great deal of football at Michigan. Gedeon is a freak of nature and RJ Stone provides depth if injury occurs.
3.) Defensive backs - Our 2 CB's were #1 and #2 respectively last year in B1G Interceptions and truth be told it was a piss poor "bend but don't break scheme." Wilson is a veteran safety and there is an abundance of choices at nickel and the other safety spot.
4.) Running backs - It's not a lack of talent in the backfield if we don't run the ball well. Smith, Green, Isaac, D. Johnson, and Justice Hayes provide one of the deepest position groups in the nation - they are just very young.
5.) Receivers/Tight Ends - Funchess, Darboh, Canteen, and Jake Butt (if he is healthy) would give Gardner everything he needs to be successful. Throw in Chesson and AJ Williams and you have some experienced depth.
6.) Defensive line - Talent is there, just have to put it together. Clark and Beyer have played a lot of snaps. Pipkins, if healthy, can be a difference maker in the middle. Throw in Taco, Wormley, Henry, and Mario and you have people who have played snaps but have yet to produce at the level we need.
7.) Offensive line - How can you not put them 7th at this point? We have no idea who the starters are this season. Next season, I think this group could be in the #1 or #2 range because we literally lose not one offensive linemen after this season. I'll go with a lineup of Mags, Cole, Glasgow, Kalis, Braden and say it will be improved from a year ago.
|11 weeks 5 days ago||Lol||
If $20 is the make or break between you being homeless and not being able to afford food, you may want to re-adjust your career or spending habits in the first place.
|11 weeks 5 days ago||These.||
I absolutely love these uniforms as a one game alternate.
|11 weeks 5 days ago||Interesting tidbits:||
That OL group is less than ideal:
|12 weeks 8 hours ago||Not going to lie......||
If there is not 100k+ in the stadium every game, I will be pretty ticked off. STUDENTS: there is NO reason not to go to the games now. You have CHEAP tickets. $20 is reasonable. $40 for a Big Ten football game at the Big House - wow.
But why go to a football game and support a football team that desperatly needs to win this year when we can sit on a blog and talk about how tickets are just tooooooooo expensive. If I was in Michigan, I'd be so ashamed if the 100k mark is broken this year.
I'm coming up three times from TN: Miami (NTM), Penn State, and Maryland. I CAN'T WAIT to see The Michigan Wolverines play football in person. Don't take it for granted, students and Michiganders. There will come a day when you are too old, too far away, too far gone and you will wish you took advantage of every game that was played in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
I know I sure do.
|12 weeks 10 hours ago||Alternate jersey.||
It's not that bad for an alternate jersey. I've seen much worse. I, too, would prefer Nike over Adidas, but I would be happy if we wore an alternate this season. I'm not crazy bout those numbers, but it would do for one game I suppose.
|12 weeks 12 hours ago||'Wellllllllll"||
"Wellllllll, [he] was working to get better." That's what I got re-listening to all the post-game press conferences.
|12 weeks 13 hours ago||T-Rich||
He's a RS Sophomore now. I still have high hopes for him being a contributor in a Michigan uniform. Whether it be in the slot or a special teams all world type of player, I think he will eventually succeed here.
|12 weeks 14 hours ago||Jabrill Peppers lol.||
Boy, I tell you, that was a Heisman-like punch he put on that wall.
|12 weeks 14 hours ago||Parking - depends.||
As far as parking goes, it just depends on how far you would consider walking vs the price of parking. For me, being 23, I'd rather park at Colonial Lanes, tailgate in the parking lot, a little further for $10 rather than parking at Pioneer or the golf course for $50.
If you don't have tickets yet, I can assure you they will be pretty cheap come August 27th/28th on Stubhub. I always like being in either endzone around row 30-40, but everyone has their own preference.
WIth it being a noon kickoff, we always try to get there by 10. That really gives you a hour to throw some football, eat and drink (if you are going to do that), and then gives you a hour to get to the stadium, get to your seat, see warmups if you're into that, and buy concessions/programs ect. ect.
But like I said, everyone has different gameday rituals. I would not advise getting there later than 10:30 though. The place can become a madhouse around the stadium.
|12 weeks 15 hours ago||YES!||
It's going to be a great weekend, just get me to 4 PM and then I'm headed to downtown Nashville for a little celebrating.
|12 weeks 1 day ago||Braden.||
Man, he looks the part of a Michigan tackle. I don't know if he'll start, but he sure would be the guy I would have getting off the bus first at the stadium. 6'7ish, 325 pounds and seems to carry the weight well like Lewan did.
