I feel like these kids need to have a class before they start getting recruited. I think this is 3 years in a row a top recruit has done something dumb on social media. Our good friends yuri Wright and Treadwell for instance. BTW whatever happened to Brian eating a lemon if Yuri went to Colorado?

I don't think it's out of the possibility to put a bubble over a practice field. I've seen indoor driving ranges around that stand about 7/8 stories and are about 125 deep. That's 375 ft so it could happen. I don't think that are going to put the actual stadium In a bubble or dome. If I remember right, warren central in Indiana has a bubble over there practice field which is huge.

For all the Borges hate, he really did call a great game. Easy throws for Devin (missed some though) Only call I didn't care for was the seconded 2pt call.

The whole class could enroll early if they wanted/ could. Only 3 back date which was already mentioned. Bama had like 8 EE either last year or the year before.

Honestly a 6-6 season at EMU is probably more of a feat then 10-2 at Michigan. Don't take that the wrong way. I've caught glimpses of the program because a guy I played High School Ball against (Gillett) is up there. That program was in shamble over the last decade. English is starting to get guys that fit the mold of what he wants and I think it will pay off sooner then later. The MAC West won't be as competitive over the next few years. NIU should be coming back to earth unless this BCS bid gets them some unexpected talent. Toledo Peak will probably be next year with the huge Junior Class of Owen, Reedy, and Fluellen all coming back for thier senior seasons. 

I'm a big fan of EMU style and I think English will find a really nice job some where. I think his main issue right now (other then being at EMU) is that he wants to win on brute strength and no Mac team can win on strength vs a BCS oppenent. Also some of the best offensive teams are in the MAC and can throw up huge numbers. You give English a team like Wisconsin and I'm not sure how they don't win a minimum of 8 games a year. That is his type of a football up there.

My vote based on style and B1G connection is Ron English at emu. He took possibly the worst team in the FBS and has them near .500 year in and year out. Defensive minded and offensive philosophy of line up and hit them in the mouth. English would be the perfect fit up there.

yay depth.. still fear that the line next year is going to look ok at best. Very young and inexperienced. Mike and Joey are the only two have taken competitve game snaps right?

Being in the stands there was a play in 4th quarter where devin scrambled and picked up a few yards but my biggest problem was tree was in the slot vs sabino and beat him on a vertical route bad with no saftey help. It was probably the biggest miss of the entire game from the passing aspect.

No... If the coaches didn't want multiple running backs I'm going to say it will be one or the other for Ohio and the fact it will probably be denards last B1G game (baring Iowa or Minnesota doing something out of the ordinary) I feel morally inclined to think they want denard to ride off into the sunset. Just my 2 cents.

I stopped following him a while ago but the kid keeps mentioning how Michigan fans trolled him including one who mentioned something about being glad his father died or something along those lines. Ever since then Dawson has had it out for Michigan. Sometimes I wish our fan base would just shut up and use twitter the right way or not at all.

So whoever started that thread about worst qb performance earlier this week ... I hate you. That first half was a group effort with denard Vincent and Golston.

6'3".. that kind of length at the point would be awesome. With Derrick Walton coming in next year, PG isn't a huge need but the way Belien PG like the NBA more then Michigan for some reason (not bashing just wish we could have an upper classmen pg for once) make me think he will probably have an offer by signing day.

I will apologize for my comments. I have nothing against boulder, it's a beautiful place. I spent a weekend there and didn't see it as an amazing college town and that was when I was 18. I included columbus in my college town mainly for the fact it attracts pretty talented 18 year old kids more then it does boulder. Wasn't trying to ruffle any feathers as I had. AA is a favorite of mine mainly because I know the area and have had a lot of fun there.

- pro tip- never say anything bad about boulder on this blog cause people really really like it.

Beckman had an eye for talent at Toledo. He was always throwing offers 2/3 years ahead of time and those guys would blow up. It's just his style to scout early and offer early.

As a Toledo student, I would prefer a Toledo win but for RR that would not be the best start ever. If Toledo doesn't win the MAC this year I will probably have to go jump off the High Level. This year team has so much talent that the only thing stoping them will be themselves. If they can get past zona and Cincy, they could have a very special season.. Just have to remind the defense that its tackle not 2 hand tap.

This is where being a tribe fan really hurts. Just terrible. If Perez ever opens his trap again there will be about 35000 fans ready to throw him in the lake.

I got mine from MTEMPLE93 last night but my god were some of players off. Apperently strobel is a black de now, there were safeties that Aren't on scholarship in the 2 deep, magunson wasn't on the line but gunderson was. It was pretty bad.

The kid started at sjj from his freshman year but it never was a primary pass offense. He has had attitude problems from my understanding. The 4 star kind of came from left field. No one saw it coming. If his head is on straight, it will be a huge get. Very good qb to replace Gillette. As a UT student I'm sad to see him leave the city but glad it wasnt for bg.

I know my opinion means jack squat but of qb's in the 2014 class. ( Kizer, stewart, kinkade, and that key fella from Oklahoma) I really like what chance brings to the table the most. He has a big time arm, a huge Frame and will be able to operate very well behind the giant wall that we will call a line in a few years. He's my personal favorite and I hope he gets an offer.

Yes I like it. It's a whole new recruiting tool that you can sell a kid on. You want to be great like Woodson. Come to Michigan and see if you can put on the number 2 jersey. It gives these kids new goals to shoot for and it allows us to honor our past and praise our present at the same time.

Still think the coaches will be going pretty hard after Mathis and wouldn't be suprised at all if they got him. My final 3/4 would look like treadwell, green, Mathis, and a db that is either not talked about much or doesn't have an offer.

I urge anyone and everyone to please donate to motts. Motts is an amazing place. My niece was born there 4 months ago with nonfunctioning kidneys and only had about a 10% chance of making it out of the womb. The doctors and nurses got her out and got the kidneys removed. She's still going strong today. The care is second to none. My niece is slated to come home in either late July or August. For what the people at motts has done for my family, there is no donation large enough to thank them. I know everyone here cares about the players and coaches on air but its really all about the kids and the hospital.

Random question that i noticed. Our linebackers looked really good because they were running in space with not to many o-lineman in there way. Was this a case of the d line occupying the oline. Which would be awesome, or was it the fact out oline just wasn't getting to the second level?

I really like watching his tape but raw is a good word for him. I'm pretty sure Gonzaga is in the same conference as Good Counsel so the talent he goes up against is really really good. I couldn't find any tape but he reminds me of JT Floyd ( but maybe a little better in coverage skills, not sure cause I couldn't find the tape so going of memory). Comparing him to Conley, I like Conley tape a little better but tall corners will be a welcome addition! Still have nightmares of Cissoko being jumped over by Floyd 20 times in 09. 

This is OT but I don't feel like making my own thread for it:I know this question doesn't come up a lot but is anyone else worried about burke jumping to the NBA? the ozone ( worst site ever btw) is convinced hes gone and will be a top 15 pick. My friend who is in the media has been told off record that there is a very real chance hes out of here. I really don't like the talk of it but it seems like nobody has brought it up. What do you guys think right now?

I don't understand why everyone thinks we're getting another commit this weekend on top Conley? If your think Issac then I have a feeling your going to be sorely disappointed. He's visiting USC next week and he said he won't commit anytime soon to multiple sources. On to cravens, he's really not a pipe dream. He really does have above average interest in Michigan for a west coast kid. The hardest thing to do is actually getting him to leave the west coast. Running back was thrown around because the coaches want him as an athlete but his primary role would be wlb/ss like someone already mentioned.

I'm getting a feeling that this class is looking more like 24-25 right now. I have no clue where it's coming from but at this second but we were all sitting here last year when Hoke said 26-28 and started to freak out. I'm assuming the attrition bug is going to hit us around the end of spring practice and are numbers will be around the 25 mark.

I hope your kidding when you say he doesn't have then connections in ohio? I guess all that time he spent living in ohio, playing for UC, grad assistant at Osu, and Head coach at BGSU never got him any where. In all honesty, the 11w group says he has only offered ELITE kids going to evaluate the state later and just try to get out and pull in there mega class... he sounds like the anti-hoke. Hoke wants to go Michigan, Ohio, Midwest, then all around. Urban seems like hes going Elite everywhere and then come home for the kids to finish his class. kind of weak if you ask me. I would hate to be a second priority if I was a recruit.

Don't forget about bosch. He has us up there too and that kid is a monster as well. If we can sweep the state or get 3 or 4 this class could get crazy. Ty Issac is the one that strikes me as the hardest to get at this point. My favorite of the 5 is Pocic for sure. Watch his tape and you will know what I mean.

lavenberry has seems to really like the south from my understanding. Poggi is had a lot of early interest but not sure if its still there. Cravens has interest but I think it will be a hard pull from the west. I kind of see him like a Shaq Thompson. I should throw Tim Harris. Really caught a Ohio vibe for some reason. It's a long way til national signing day and were bound to miss on a lot of these guys but it should be a good class.

I guess the 3 TE comment was someone else.. maybe it was DG on twitter or something, I just remeber seeing it and asking where the 3rd would be taken from.

I feel like Fuller is VT bound but maybe Maryland jumps into the picture with Diggs and Wes Brown there. Treadwell will be on campus this weekend and hopefully he remembers why he loved it so much  a few months ago. I just think having shane actively recruitng for us could make some really big ins on WR front.

Dude chill. Stars are for the recruiting services. Yeah they have a higher bell curve of being good but coaching makes the players. This staff has turned a walk on dlineman into an asset in less then a year. I believe whatever players we get be coached up the right way.

he was at the hockey game tonight but he also tweeted that he would be visiting florida and fsu in like late june or july. I don't remember. So by hoke law, the only way he will be ours is when hes done visiting and that won't be til atleast mid summer. Aqua did say something about an all star game if I remember right. I will be interested if that time line stays the same if this class takes off like a bat out of hell like shane said in his tweet on NSD.

valid point but I was referring to more the slot ninja meme more then the pro spread concept. Kind of like oregon, undersized but they just never stop. All those teams run a spread and a mild for of the hurry up, or as chris carter calls it the powder huddle. ( run to the line then sit their and call a play, but if the defense is trying to sub just snap the ball) I personally think that if it can work in college, that it would have a chance to work in the pro's with the right personel.

Espn for some reason doesn't have the big bust at the top like most services do, but anything after 15 just seems like they pick out of a hat.

he was suppose to come last week but when that didn't happen tom said on a forum that he was intending to head up this week. Now apperently thats not happening either. Another talented kid that was said to be a Michigan ( and FSU) fan growing up that probably won't end up here. I don't get recruiting sometimes. All I will say is that I trust the coaches, and we have damn good ones too.

the staff told Payton that they want 3. Madaris is on campus this weekend. Hoke is in home with Jordan on Thursday. The extreme back up plan is kenny lawler. He was commited to ASU but when there coach got fired he opened up and reached out to us. No offer was ever given but from what I am hearing there is a lot of mutual interest at this point. by the end of this class, we will have 3 really good WR with atleast one guy that will probably crack the starting rotation next year.

Greg biggins over at espn is saying that Stanford is the team to beat now for Garnett. Biggins has a really good success rate when it comes to these things. I really hope he's wrong though. Kozan would be nice to have either way. We just need a decent amount of these kids to red shirt so they can develop and not have to worry about crazy low depth numbers for another 5 years.

he is pretty wide open at the point. I wouldn't be suprised at all to see him blue if mattison is his recruiter. Jaylon likes him a lot. I think Michigan will be a big player when it's all said and done.
