Agreed. Minnesota has really been tanking since they lost those starters. The selection committe will certanly take that into account. A loss to MSU and us and Minn is most likely not even in the bubble conversation.

I don't see why I am naive because i think (mostly hope) that Harbaugh will be our next head coach. He has said that it is his dream job on more than one occasion; i mean the kid grew up on the Michigan practice field. I know it will be a tough transition back into a pro-style offense but I think he will be able to whip the defense into shape a lot quicker than people think. Not to say that they will be dominant by any means but our defenses under Rich Rod have been laughable at best. There were a lot of playmakers on the 2008 team, but they still played terribly as a unit. That is a coaching problem.

I don't think it's that farfetched.. We all know he can shoot, and last year i thought that he was also are best on the ball defender. No one is talking about the NBA, but I see no reason why he cannot be successful in Europe if he continues his solid work ethic.

I agree that Ohio has more talent than Michigan for football, but it's hard to snatch the best athletes from Ohio State.. We need to keep the focus at home and continue to get the best players from Detroit, Fint, and Saginaw. Dantonio has been recruiting the state pretty well so we can't lose focus.

Izzo, like Beilein is known for his in extensive film analysis.. I wouldn't be surprised if we had several team managers who help out with film breakdown. It's a great experience for the kids, maybe they will get a job in the stats department with ESPN or a pro franchise one day.

If you feel like Chinese food there is a cool little place called Gourmet Village off of Hagadorn and just across the street from Campus. I used to live in Hubbard, a dorm in that area when I did my undergrad at MSU. Anyway, it's not much to look at but serves the best Chinese food around; it's also pretty affordable.

I don't understand how Kovacs can be fast enough to play safety but too slow to play SAM... That doesn't make sense. To be honest, I think that Kovacs is better suited to play linebacker. His pass coverage is poor but he is a sure tackler. He'd obviously have to put on some weight and learn how to shed blockers, but man can that kid tackle... Perfect form every time.

I agree. If any of those players touched another student or damaged university property than they will be expelled. The East Lansing police has footage of the incident and charges will be filed for everyone involved.

Actually, I have seen Harbaugh run the option although only sparingly. And don't act like it was a staple of Bo's offense... I'm only 22 but i've seen plenty of michigan football.

I posted it because it's a damn good article. Harbaugh has been successful at every level both as a coach and a player. Although I do think we have made a commitment to Rich Rod and he will also have success, Harbaugh coaches football the way it has always been played at Michigan.

Your right, most of the offense came from the Rust line. We had a lot of opportunities but only really seemed to score off of turnovers around the net.

I was at the game and Lynch really stood out. He's big, and damn can that kid skate! He was chasing down every loose puck and had a few great scoring chances.

I'm not sure about that... I can't read the rivals artice because i'm not a member but I think something is up between RR and Tate.

During the MSU game, Tate ran out on the field to fire up the defence on MSU's last possession. I remember thinking to myself about what a leader he already is on this team. He showed alot of courage and heart doing that, and I think it really inspired the team.

During the Iowa game, tate attempted to do the same thing but rich rod stopped him. I can't remember exactly what happened but i'm downloading a torrent of the game right now and I'll post when I look into it.

I totally agree, but can you really stop being a lions fan? They seem to pull me in every time... You'll still watch them if only to laugh at how they find different ways to lose games.

I totally agree with your post except with the fact that Shepard has some offensive game... He has provided instant offense at times and I like the intensity that he brings when on the court. The problem is that he is turnover-prone and consistently makes bad decisions... However, I definitely agree with Brian that he should be getting more minutes, maybe he could get into more of a rhythm and eliminate the bad plays.

yeah thats what I think as well... It's disappointing that we didn't pull the trigger when it looked like we had a shot at him. The Patriots only ended up getting a 2nd rounder for Cassel, I wounder if the Broncos wanted more than just Cassel in that proposed 3 team deal. We could have just thrown another pick at them to get the deal done if that was the case.

Bell is rated as our second best prospect on ESPN... It's kinda interesting that he isn't even a 4 star on rivals. Looks to be a playmaker with size though.

I was wondering the same thing today... He must have run a 4-3 in the pro's though. You can't get away with anything else except the 3-4.
