Come at me, bro.

6 years 11 weeks ago Fuck you, you piece of shit

Our university is fine. You have a personal issue. Have fun in therapy, retard.

6 years 11 weeks ago I want to choke out Novak

He's a spazzy fucking moron who needs to settle it down.

6 years 11 weeks ago "Their superbowl"

Sorry bro, but thew Spartans are the big boys in this game not the other way around. And right now, they are showing it.

6 years 14 weeks ago Good to see that at least someone is trying to draw the line

This is getting insane, if nobody stops it, I believe that it will get to the point where the SEC just says to NCAA "look, we make you a very large sum of money, we are going to do things our way or kiss us goodbye".

6 years 14 weeks ago Completely agree with this

Not sure why anybody thinks that we should or would be able to compete with teams at schools that operate like this. Sure our record indicates that we totally do but things have changed in recent years regarding stuff like this. The funny thing is that college football is the only legitimate business where participants are expected to act like it isn't. And yet, we scoff at those (SEC) that refuse that doctrine.

6 years 19 weeks ago Ace is all over the class of 2013

Getting up to speed real quick here. I'm happy with your progress as a recruiting analyst.

6 years 19 weeks ago What former HC's do will always be relevant to Michigan

because they will always be associated with the program in peoples minds. Whether or not RichRod finds success at Arizona will weigh on the scales of how history judges aspects of his tenure at Michigan. This is unavoidable and just because some people want to sweep it under the rug does not mean that it should be done.

6 years 19 weeks ago Of course not, some 'grades" issue will miraculously materialize

Lots of otherwise fine student athletes are having issues with their grades, I'm sure it will happen again.

6 years 19 weeks ago Doesn't want to admit the absolute ass whooping they got.

Can't say I blame anybody for wanting to forget that debocle. It's also possible that at some level coaches and players rationalize the loss to themselves as them already having gave up on the coaching staff. In that case, they just threw in the towl and called it a day.

6 years 19 weeks ago annnnnd YOU DON"T think everyone has a price?

You're either very dumb or lying.

6 years 19 weeks ago I guess for me everything in life is cost/benefit risk/reward

I derive little to no intrinsic benefit from "doing the right thing" simply for the sake of doing it. I suppose some people do, maybe I'm a sociopath. I get no rush from helping people, or team building or any of that bullshit. Maybe I wan't hugged enough as a child. Oh well, so be it.

6 years 19 weeks ago Just forget about the Pistons, they fucking suck

Such a bull shit team

6 years 19 weeks ago Fuck yeah I would

People dont want to admit it, but everybody has their price. If the price for becoming the most dominant program in the world is to run it fast and loose. So long as we don't get caught I'm cool with it. Fuck, it's better than losing.

6 years 19 weeks ago The school holds the means of production so to speak

The coaches are doing what is in the best interest of the school and the program. Get the best players you can but suffer no acts of disloyalty.

6 years 19 weeks ago EKG isn't part of a standard physical

some doctors do them as part of the physical but many do not. Suprising that it wouldn't occur as part of a physical at a big D-1 program like this. I would think that they would go as far as to conduct MRI's and pysical stress tests along with everything else but apparently that isn't the case. A damn shame.

6 years 19 weeks ago Fear of death is a great motivator

A lot of the short term thinking we see in the world is a direct result of self preservation motivators which lead one to the "well, the next generation can deal with this problem" mentalitiy. If only we were elves and lived forever we could make better long-term decisions with sustainability in mind. Fucking JoePa and his selfish thinking. Hopefully he dies in peace.

6 years 19 weeks ago HAHAHAHA KORK COUPONS???

Which one of you fuckers came up with this? What would lead your twisted sick mind to compare the name "Kirk Cousins" to "Kork Coupons"? Hilarious and awesome.

6 years 19 weeks ago Red flag if ever there were one

This will prove to be for the best in retrospect. Mich rather have Jehu, who will bleed maize and blue. Come on down Jehu, come and be a part of this awesome tradition.

6 years 19 weeks ago To know him is to love him

but at the same time people get sick of hearing about him. We get it, he's an awesome awesome guy. The problem a lot of people have with him is that he uses his position in life as a platform to push a religious message that quite frankly, a lot of us don't want to hear. It would be one thing if he wasnt so intertwined within the NFL, I'd just turn him off. But a lot of times that mean depriving myself of the level of NFL coverage which I want. So I suffer, and complain. Sorry.

6 years 19 weeks ago THis is some bullshit

So what if LSU has such a dominant defense, they have no less than 9 guys on that defense projected to be drafted into the NFl either this year or next year. Mattison took a bunch of  dentists, computer scientists, and pace-maker salesmen, and 2 future NFLers and turned them into a Michigan Defense. Fucking SEC bullshit

6 years 19 weeks ago Getting Dunn Just got more important

I feel a personal need for Hoke to steal a recruit not just from Ohio but from Urban Meyer's Ohio. This may be just one recruit but for Hoke to steal one of their crown jewel's after the Meyer hire sends the message that the fence is down and it's not coming back up.

6 years 19 weeks ago Release Skynet

NORTH CAMPUS, release skynet battle bots on this voting thing and get it done.

6 years 19 weeks ago VCHOD

Vote Coach Hoke OR DIE. Hoke is the finest coach in all the land. He is perfect in every way.

6 years 19 weeks ago RVB has little to no draft potential

The best he can hope for is to have a solid combine, be invited to camp as an undrafter free agent somewhere, and suprise somebody.

6 years 20 weeks ago Fuck yeah Michigan got in!

Neato gang! Free Bowlz are the best!

6 years 20 weeks ago Tune In

Everybody tune in and listen to this bitch ass mutha fucka

6 years 21 weeks ago Very classy people, no rivalry shall ensue.

Let's be honest with ourselves. Great rivalries aren't born of kindness and mutual respect, they are born of hatred and anger stemming from past slights and treacherous behaviors. Kindness and respect don't really lead to that place.

6 years 22 weeks ago ACE: Where the fuck is you, bro? Get on this shit like yesterday

Do it

6 years 22 weeks ago Thank you for your typically snarky comment

We're all dumber for having read it.

6 years 25 weeks ago Its not absurd at all

All but the claim of the 2008 team can be directly associated with actions by people associated with Michigan. More importantly, none of them should have come to pass. it's not hard to imagine a world where those things hadn't happened.

6 years 25 weeks ago Its like I've Said all along

Carr loved Michigan, but only his version of it. All I know is that it seems that he did a few things that he knew would undermine the program in the name of preserving his version of Michigan and it hurt.

6 years 26 weeks ago This is an excellent point my fear is in the going concern

I fear that going forward this will be less true

6 years 26 weeks ago Maybe he's interested in some program inwhich

Michigan ranks higher for its grad program perhaps. I think this is really the only hope since Michigan tends to be ranked higher for the marquee grad programs than it is for undergrad. I mean it's barely in the top 20 for undergrad but for grad it's got top 5-10 rankings in all the glamore programs.

6 years 26 weeks ago Here's the big problem though

The Michigan fan base has the se super high expectations but any more you can't live up to those expectation levels unless you bend and break rules. It's a fact of life especially when everybody else is doing it. I know people want to be able to be the exception and proudly point to their Michigan program that somehow finds a way to win and do it clean but with the Monster programs in the SEC running things the way they do it's just not possible to do. Your best bet is to either augment expectations downwards or accept that you're football program won't be squeeky clean.

6 years 26 weeks ago Seriously Fuck Lloyd Carr, he selfishly fucked the program over

Lloyed Carr proved himself a fake Michigan Man when he put his own interests ahead of the program by hiring an outsider over Miles, the rightful successor of the program.

6 years 26 weeks ago Can anyone expand upon why they dont like him?

Why is he so disliked among the fanbase and alumni?

6 years 26 weeks ago I agree, a retired hero of the team is the best

I have three jerseys a Probert, Coffey, and Zetterberg. Interestingly enough I find that the Coffey gets me the most props when I'm going to games, at the bar, or just on the street.

EDIT: Not that he's retired yet, but I think Lidstrom is the exception to my rule.

6 years 27 weeks ago shut up you faggot. you lost the game stop whining

Just like I said you would.

6 years 27 weeks ago MICHIGAN IS GOING DOWN!

Your lack of respect as a fanbase shall continue to be me with annual beat downs and the next one comes tomorrow.

6 years 27 weeks ago There is a reason experts have him projected to the first round

Worthy is legit, so is Gholston. MSU has an elite D-line and this is the best team the Spartans have fielded in a long, long time.

6 years 27 weeks ago Great thread title

All these idiots and their lust for schadenfreude came running to it in hopes that Pryor was actually injured. Because that's just how classy they all are. Keep em coming.

6 years 27 weeks ago Even a child can make something good if the ingredients are

Your ingredient however, are not good. Regardless of what recruiting sites say. Hence, the fact that MSU has better ingredients limiting the cook (your coach). Thus, you are seeing irony that doesn't actually exist.

6 years 27 weeks ago They are very similar and it's an excellent analogy

I'm a scientist

6 years 27 weeks ago A cake story

I once tried to bake a cake with some generic ingredients. It was not good. Then my sister, who is an award winning pastery chef, cooked a cake with the same ingredients, it was much better than mine. My other friends from the neighborhood concurred that not only was hers better than mine but better than any that their mom's could make either.

She then entered that cake into a competition against other good pastry chefs baking cakes with similar ingredients. Her cake, which we thought was so good, was swiftly cut down when put against the cakes of the other pastry chefs.

The moral of the story is, a master can do much more with the same ingredients than can a novice, but at the end of the day, it takes more than just good chef work to win a cake competition

6 years 27 weeks ago The Michigan Wolverine's are going to lose the game

This will be a result of the superior defense of Michigan State along with their excellent offensive capabilities. Also, the Michigan State coach is very good at his job and actually has a historical performance of 3-1 against the Michigan Wolverines,

6 years 31 weeks ago Coming from a guy with a quote about Tim Tebow...Thanks

Cheers mate

6 years 31 weeks ago You all sound like Spartan fans with your ill will

it's pathetic

6 years 31 weeks ago 1 month from now only half the team will be in jail

which might make it an interesting game.

6 years 31 weeks ago It's too bad MSU will still beat Michigan this year

Sucks right?

6 years 31 weeks ago It's too bad MSU will still beat Michigan this year

Sucks right?

6 years 31 weeks ago Not well played

Everyone needs to stop with the hate on the MSU jerseys. They are cool and Michigan fans just look like stupid homers hating on them.

6 years 31 weeks ago Just sayin

ya know

6 years 31 weeks ago Don't these other rankings factor in earnings?

I guess I'm wondering where the line should be drawn. Is the almighty future dollar the number one indicator of what school is best? Wouldn't some white collar prisons be at the top of that list as well?

6 years 34 weeks ago Here's the thing though

At this point do we even take them. I'm serious I don't know. I mean, we need a WR, and Stanford would be perfect, but do we really spend another scholly on yet another DE? Is Washington in the elite class of athlete that we would spend a discretionary scholarship on?

6 years 44 weeks ago Good Luck

Chris, We know you'll be a part of the Michigan tradition of which to be proud.

6 years 44 weeks ago My great great great uncle

...is Winston Churchill.

6 years 44 weeks ago Hockey was invented on ice.

Ice in it's natural environment is outside. Therefore, hockey was first played outside. This is the natural habitat of hockey.Let hockey run free.

6 years 44 weeks ago If there is one takeaway from this diary

entry, it is that you should never peg too much hope on one or two recruits, that QB situation is the reason why the marching band was reduced to playing "The Victors" whenver we got positive yards.

6 years 45 weeks ago Thats

Awesome

6 years 45 weeks ago But the

GO BLUE

come on baby gimmie some points!

6 years 45 weeks ago Free point giveaway?

I'm down

6 years 45 weeks ago By their own admission

coaches generally plan for 5 years out. So yes, this is something which would be considered and possibly addressed at this point in time.

6 years 45 weeks ago Isaac Seumalo

would be  a huge get. He looks like another highly physical, mean O-lineman, I think we're understating the necessity for a true FB a tad though. I do believe that The Rock's cousin is more of a priority from a needs standpoint than another DE. At this point it seems like the Washington/Stanford combo is the "SHOOT THE MOON" wait as long as we have to item. Coaches must really like them.

6 years 45 weeks ago Yes, Nebraska

may suffer very much in 2-3 as a result of the conference re-allignements affect upon their crucial Texas pipeline. It will be interesting to see if that dries up at all now that they no longer play any teasm from that area.

6 years 45 weeks ago You don't?

You should. They've beaten us 3 years in a row now. I think they are at least slightly worthy of our attention. It's rather arrogant otherwise.

6 years 45 weeks ago Yes, bottomfeeders

i.e. players that don't contribute anything whatsoever to the football team in terms of on the field production. This isn't peewee football,  if you don't contribute, you should step aside for someone who does.

6 years 45 weeks ago All of these Saturday morning posters need to stop

hating on posts with which they don't agree. This post is relevant to Big Ten football and is therefore ON TOPIC. You don't like to see Sparty topics? What about all the OSU topics lately hmmmm? Feel free to comment but don't be hypocritical.

6 years 45 weeks ago A few of the bottom feeders

from the prior regimes recruiting efforts will most certainly not be asked back. Why occupy spots with replacement level players suited for a different system when you are amidst building potentially the best top to bottom class in the history of the school?

6 years 45 weeks ago This actually is worse for OSU

We forget so easily that the NCAA is not compelled by burdon of proof or any sort of "Innocent until proven guilty" type mandates. This means that if they truly believe things happened in violation of the rules and have at least some evidence of it, all that Pryor could have done is sacrifice himself for the good of tSIO as a parting gift and as a way of apologizing to the tSIO family by saying that he acted alone and without the knowledge of anyone else associated with the program. So, we have lack of cooperation in addition to the fact that NCAA has a history of punishing the school in the event of the individual violators having left already meaning that this is actually bad news for tSIO from a potential sanctions standpoint.

6 years 45 weeks ago I would

ideally love to see no bowl ban but no new scholarships for 3-4 years, it would be hilarious in that last year when they have to fields a team comsisting entirely of walk-ons. It would be like last year when we held open try outs for a kicker except for every position on the team. You would have little computer geeks playing corner, engineering students out in center field with their protractors measuring the correct angle to engage the ball carrier and construction management kids on the line trying to build a low wall against the opponents linemen.

6 years 45 weeks ago The NCAA

has begun taking a real no non-sense stance as of late. My prediction is that they will hit OSU  deep and hard simply because if they do not, they will be sending a message that it's okay for your program to cheat so long as it generates sufficient dollars for college football. Death Penalty? No. Last season gets vacated sans the bowl game, 2 year bowl ban, 10 schollies lost per year for 4 years.

6 years 45 weeks ago Biggest improvements in terms

game experience for me is that the crowd actually looks somewhat real, the music is more in line with what the band actually plans situationally speaking, and the blocking engine doesn't act so much like a suction cup.

6 years 45 weeks ago This is what we need

intelligent, family oriented people like the Diamond's. They definitely belong in Ann Arbor.

6 years 45 weeks ago Again, Morris

took home the MVP from Nike camp, also took home the strongest arm award from Elite 11. I'm very intrigued by the strongest arm award as a sophomore, this is reassuring because with how well he looks of defenders, moves in the pocket, and those smooth mechanics, arm strength was really the only unknown factor and he sure put that one to bed.

6 years 45 weeks ago I don't think so

I do believe that at the time, Drew Sharp's main point was that tSIO was being at least some what pro-active and complaint albeit after the fact where as USC never was, leading to OSU possibly avoiding a  USC type fate. This point seems null and void now as allegations of activities clearly discoverable by a half-descent compliance department have come out.

6 years 45 weeks ago We haven't

proved him wrong. Our team has proved nothing, until we start winning on the football field we deserve to be shit on by these idiots... After all, this is Michigan for Pete sake!

6 years 46 weeks ago Not in any of those industries

But my experience is that your best bet is to go small but highly visible, that is to say, if you can get in with a small group but a small group doing big things with known, well respected people associated with it, it gives you the best of both worlds. I understand that this presents a conundrum as it may be difficult to know who knows who before entering an industry but if you can get the inside track on that, then I'd say that would be the way to go.

6 years 46 weeks ago The fact that

SEC coaches would be against the limitation even though teams can clearly field champions with the limit makes me wonder how much of recruiting is building a good squad and how much of it is trying to prevent rival teams from doing the same. Of course, I understand that having more guys locked in allows you to hold what basically amounts to an internal try-outs amongst athletes tenatively on scholly and that this is a competitive advantage. I believe that the issuance of medical hardship schollies should be overseen by the NCAA as well.

does Morgan holding off on his commitment equal a total parting ways?

6 years 46 weeks ago The sign of desperation

and the beginning of their dark descent into pure madness as a fanbase this fortells. One thing I realized from all of this mess is how much more important football is to Buckeye nation than it is to us. Don't get me wrong, we bleed maize and blue but honestly we have so much more besides football. Those people in Ohio, it's all they have, they have NOTHING else to look forward to in their lives...

6 years 46 weeks ago I salivate

every time I watch his footage. I'm like Homer Simpson with the Venus Candy ("Sweeeeeeeet Venuuuss, urdghghghru") The way he looks off defenders, the pocket presence, the fact that he not only hits his receivers but puts the ball in a spot advantageous to the completion and in a difficult spot for defenders, the toughness, the arm strength, intelligence. GOOD GOD this kid has it all.

6 years 46 weeks ago Of course he will

contrary to popular believe there is a little bit more (not much more, mind you) to OSU than the football program. Aside from this debacle, credible sources peg him as being an excellent university to president. If any other heads should roll it would be the AD, compliance, and most if not all of Tressels staff.

6 years 46 weeks ago I suppose it seems

as though this is an anxillary detail but any word on why the OSU legal department was "stumbling" around in a way which they just so happened upon Tressels emails? Seems like an obvious hole in the story which was never fully addressed unless I totally missed something.

6 years 46 weeks ago You really think that

Tom could address that honestly and maintain his professional integrity?

6 years 46 weeks ago Why any player would

choose Texas Tech is beyond me. It is in a dry county in the middle of BFTexas and they have virtually nothing so great as to offset that fact.

6 years 46 weeks ago Please realize

that guys being recruited this hard, this early in the game are guys which the coaching staff believe will make the team great. Make no mistake about it, none of the guys being brought in this early are considered second best as far as Hoke and Co. are concerned (to hell with the stars our coaches have their own, and quite frankly superior, method of player evaluation).  I believe in what our men are doing and this is nothing short of top, top performance.

6 years 46 weeks ago Shannan

has been involved with the NHL in various executive capacities almost since the day he retired from playing. He's always been a highly intelligent and thoughtful fellow and I think he'll do great.

6 years 46 weeks ago Is this because

his coaches really want him to go to Rutgers?
