You are all missing the point.

First off, the student section is not half empty.  It's only those nosebleeds up top.  Do you ever wonder why it's only the nosebleeds?  It's because us students do whatever we can to get closer to the field.  Typically it's the freshmen who get seated up top.  A lot of freshmen don't like being seen as freshmen based on where they sit, so they move.  It's retarded, I know, but it's the way it is.  I can guarantee that rows 1-80 are far more densely populated in the student section than anywhere else in the stadium.  

And yes, there are a good portion of students who get too drunk before the games and don't make it.  Some of you consider that I crime, I consider that being in college.  Pregames are the best days of the year, so if you miss a NW or Illinois game once in a while and wake up somewhere in Ypsi, it is not disappointing.

With that said, the student section could be half full and we would still be the loudest section in the stadium.  The fuckers who sit to our right either think we're on offense the entire game or don't have vocal cords.  It's pathetic.  When they do the 'M-I-C-H-I-G-A-N' chant, I have never once heard the I or C.  

You can take a section away from us if you so desire, but those empty rows up top will never change.  If you want some actual football student attendence issues, go to East Lansing.  

Under the LIghts

Depending on whether you have a car, it is necessary to recommend Zingerman's for someone looking for food spots in Ann Arbor.  Not directly on campus, but not too far either.  Would be a great post-game meal and I'm an advocate of getting anyone new in AA to that deli.  Best sandwiches I've had.

If you're talking about on-campus, although every place will be crowded I'd go with Ashleys, Mr. Spots, or NYPD.  There aren't many good sit-down restaurants on campus but if you were to choose one I'd say the original cottage inn on E. William Street.  Pizza house is overrated unless you're ordering cheesy bread.

I agree 100%.  I thought Shane tried to force the ball in too many times and didn't make some throws that he should've.  He did show off that hose for an arm though.  I don't understand how scout put him ahead of Olsen after watching his video (performed noticeably better).  Nonetheless, Shane continues to display how high his ceiling is, which is really all that matters 

I was at the game.  Henrik Zetterberg came to our fraternity afterwords and was giving out shots (grey goose).  I also got knocked out that night while trying to help one of my buddies in a fight.  Somehow I got to sleep at a reasonable hour

For my fellow pothead mgobloggers, I sat next to Steven Hyde and Fez (that 70's show) a few years ago at a yankee game.  The rock on Fez's hand must have been 5 figures, thing looked like a world championship ring.  Had brief conversations with them throughout the game about the awesomeness of that 70's show and other random interesting things.

I agree, but with one slight difference.  If Isaac does not commit I will most definitely be bummed because he is the 2013 commit I've always wanted most in this class.  However, our running game will still be one of the top 10/15 in the country going forward with our beastly O-line coming in and the newly installed O.  On the other hand, if he commits and lives up to his potential, with Smith and Shallman as bruisers by his side, I see us having a top 5 (perhaps top) rushing attack in the nation a few years from now.  And I love me a good running team.  That is why I want Isaac to commit so badly

I think Ty will be deciding very soon.  If i had to guess, I'd say by next weekend.  While I believe everything he has said in the recruiting process, and respect it wholeheartedly, there has to be some sort of reason why he decided to not take any more visits.  I believe he got a little gut feeling within the past day or two of where he wants to go (afterall, he has visited both schools multiple times and has had ample time to think about/compare them) and will let that feeling simmer for the next several days to see if its legitimate.  While I have no idea what school he may be favoring, I do believe he has a decent idea at this point and wants to make sure there's no regrets going forward, as he is not the type of recruit to decommit.

I opened this thread thinking it was titled 'Way OT - Aquaman 2' with appraisals for RDT.  

Nonetheless, Ferrell's invovlement with the film's production will satisfy me in itself.  He's stated that his favorite comedy (of the millions) he's made is Anchorman, which leads me to believe he will not let a sequel disappoint.  He's too good for that.  Ron Burgundy is too good for that.

I don't think I'm saying anything outlandish.  I'm not making posts saying I know his fathers ex-highschool girlfriend or even saying he will no doubt commit for that matter.  I just have a good feeling he could pull the trigger before today is history.  And if he doesn't, I think its inevitable he will join this class at some point in the near future.  Plus, I can care less about my reputation.  That is the last reason why i made an account on this site.

If recruiting ended today you could say that Borges/Hecklinski have struggled, but there's 10 months left.  And we're in on as many top prospects as any other team in the nation.  While it is nice that Funk wrapped up his O-line class, the stars alligning certainly helped him.  When/if we get kids like Isaac and Treadwell, I'm sure you'll reconsider your stance

This write up is very accurate.  I dont see why so many people find it delusional.  If the roles were reversed, this board would be just as optimistic as they are to get our home-state kid to flip.  If anything, I feel like our obsessing over bucknuts and 11W regarding Dymonte makes us look scared/nervous that he's going to flip, while in no way we are/should be.  Let them say what they're going to say, especially if its accurate.  If he flips, he flips (wont happen, but for the sake of the argument).  Otherwise, Dymonte is ours and we should be very excited about what he will bring to our future D
