Also in NC, and I also get App State fans coming up to me when they see my car with all its Michigan stuff on it.  I even had a cop who pulled me over talk to me about that game, his brother went to App State.  It was more embarrasing than getting pulled over. 

I seriously doubt that had Sandusky had nothing to do with the football program and this was just some guy who lived there, that there would have been an elaborate cover up. 

I would like to see a national Semi-Final + National Championship game on the schedule.

Obviously the Midwest can best be described by having great leaders, and iconic legends.  Thus, should be named the Legends-Leaders region.

Likewise, I enjoyed walking past you on my way to campus from Markley Hall my freshman year.  You really stood there well and showed off how good a brick building can look.

I graduated in 2005 and by Fall of 2006 was working in NJ, a job that I did not have to be at until 1pm.  I remember getting ready in the morning and seeing the news on ESPN.  I stopped getting ready and just stood there, staring blankely into nothingness. 

I grew up a Michigan fan as both of my parents are Michigan alums as well, having attended Michigan from 1968-1974 (graduate school included).  My dad was there when Bo was hired.  I grew up watching Michigan on TV, seeing Bo on the sidelines before he retired when I was 6 years old.  Bo gave a speech at my graduation in 2005, something I will always remember. 

I called my dad, knowing that he does not watch much TV or check internet news sites to inform him of the news.  There was a silence from both ends of the phone.  I have seen my dad cry exactly one time in my life, the day his mother was diagnosed with cancer (his father passed away prior to my birth so if he cried then, I didn't see it).  While I was on the phone and could not see my dad,  this was the 2nd time I heard him cry. 

The Michigan family lost a leader and a father/grandfather that day.  But Bo lives on in each of us, in Ann Arbor, and in the University of Michigan.

I just wish I hadn't read this while trying to eat lunch.  I'm a big wuss when it comes to surgical procedures, seeing, thinking about, hearing about, etc.

For me its Novak and Horton.  Maybe Horton because I went to U of M and had season tickets 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 and remember wishing he had some more help.  I was always optimistic about our team only to be disapointed.  But hey, at least it was super easy to get bleacher tickets those years!

I'm not sure sharing a nickname with Jim Tressel is so great.

I seriously hope that he is smart enough to realize that 1) that loss was not his fault at all, and 2) Fans who blamed him for that loss are completely and totally stupid.

I can agree with that.  It will be very interesting to see how each coach gets their team ready to play.  Saban of course is a known coaching commodity, Coach Hoke, of course less so (I of course love our coach, but in terms of career accomplishment he is not Nick Saban [which is kind of a good thing! {TRIPLE PARANTHESIS}]). 

Player development will be huge in this game.  Can Black and Roh adapt to new positions on the D-line quick enough to get pressure on the QB and help stop the run?  I hate off seasons. :(

I did too (EDIT: picked Belmont to win).  However my reason was becuase I am hoping that Georgetown's loss to OHIO 2 years ago was because Georgetown as a 3 seed is bad and not because OHIO has a strong ability to knock off higher seeded teams.

I think Novak plans to play in Europe next year while pursuing business ventures.  (Somebody can correct me if I am wrong, but I think i heard him mention this on one of his spots on "The Journey")

Living in NC has shown me that NC State fans seem to be even worse.  They greatly hate everything Duke and UNC.  NC State is clearly the red headed step brother of the bunch.

I really think the key to next year's team will be the ability to score more points than their opponents.

I'm going to miss that scrappy fella.  Glad to see he is helping his community.

Great interview.  With how much you hear/see on BTN about Zack, Stu and Trey, I feel like THJ has been sort of lost (by the media).  I feel like his play will be instrumental on our ability to make an NCAA run. 

I also love seeing his dad geared out in the maize and blue in the stands.

I stopped watching women's basketball 8 years ago when I witnessed this series of events take place in the 2nd round of the women's NCAA tournament.  I forget the teams, but one was Black and one was Red, so we'll refer to them thusly:

Black team inbounding ball with about 15 seconds left down by 1 point.  Girl throwing it in pump fakes the pass, at which time the defender guarding her grabs the ball right out of her hands (while she is still waiting to inbound the ball).  Red team gets hit with a delay of game warning.  Black then inbounds the ball to their PG at the top of the circle.  The defender guarding her decides (for no apparent reason) to run at the Black team player who was at the wing.  Since there was now nobody defending the ball, the woman with the ball drove to the basket (which was 100% wide open) as time was expiring.  She missed the wide open lay up and the Black team lost.

I'll still watch if Michigan is playing, but then again I'll watch anything Michigan related.

All I saw Campbell doing in this video was passing drills.  Are you assuming he is a dual threat because he has dreads or something?

2001-2002.  Indeed sneaking in beer was super easy.  Did not have room for a keg, but definetly plenty of cases. 

Not using geography terms or famous coaches? What does that leave?  I mean, technically, lakes are a geographical feature so they would be out assuming Delaney is serious about the "no geographical names."  What is he going to name them?  Adjectives?  Strength Division and Courage Division?  That's just silly IMO.

I kinda liked the "Great Lakes" and "Great Plains" that was suggested by one of the announcers during the PSU game.  Though, I didn't nor haven't looked at the divisions to see if this would even fit.  And of course it uses geographical features.

He definetly appeared slow/hesitant.  Perhaps this is partially due to not knowing the entire offense.  Or maybe we're just spoiled now.

I wear my M basketball shorts, circa 2000 that have a giant whole in the crotch (as opposed to the pair that had the waist ripped up and the string no longer in the waist).  With this i throw on my M polo shirt and M baseball cap.  I then sit on my couch in the same position each week.

I also yell at my wife if she moves and the game flow starts to turn towards the opponents favor.  BTW, against Umass i did NONE of these things as I was as over confident and under prepared as the actual team.  I promise it will not happen again. 

I just have to figure out what i am going to do when i go to the Iowa game in October, shorts with hole in crotch does not sound like a good idea.  Though the shirt and hat will be present.
