mmmm Filipino food.

SAM started as a Jewish frat but has non-Jewish members often. Even if that were not the case, private organizations can include or exclude whoever they want. Case in point: country clubs like Augusta with women, the Boy Scouts with homosexuals, etc. I'm not saying it's right, but courts side w/ the private organizations.
|11 weeks 21 hours ago||Long story short||
We were there but folded in spring 2002 (my soph year) as we couldn't get enough bodies to get a house to replace the one that burned down a couple years prior (which was not our fault it was during the summer when it was vacant). They recolonized in 2004 or 2005 and bought the house they have now.
|11 weeks 22 hours ago||Agree completely||
As a former SAM, that was the prevailing opinion of the alumni contacted about this incident. The brothers on campus brought this upon themselves. There were many emails (which I will NOT be posting here this time) that expressed disappointment in the current SAM brothers but not surprise, given that any names given would also wind up in the hands of the police. I had always called for those responsible for this to be booted out of SAM, and now thanks to their circling of the wagons, they are all getting the boot. But SAM will be back at UM, some day.
|11 weeks 22 hours ago||No||
National SAM is basically going along with the UM's punishment, ending the fraternity on campus for the next four years. UM is too big of a school with too large of a Jewish population for SAM to stay away for long. They'll probably try again, especially as an alumni corporation owns the SAM house. They'll probably rent it to another house for the next few years, and then recolonize in 4-5 years.
|12 weeks 5 hours ago||Implied threats cross the line||
Free speech is fine, even if it is bad speech. As much as I hate the Westboro Baptist a-holes, they have the right to spew their vile crap. When it crosses the lines into threats of violence, such as hanging people from trees, then no, it is not ok and becomes something that creates a hostile learning environment. So, if a left wing group on campus was saying they were going to protest about something right wing, then no, that doesn't create a hostile environment for right wing students. If those left wing students state they are going to hang right wing people from trees, or beat them, or kill them, or whatever, then it crosses the line into hostile territory and out the door they go.
Let's take race out of this. Let's pretend the SAE song instead of being about hanging N****rs from trees, lets say the song was about spiking women's drinks and raping them when they passed out. They'd still be deservedly tossed off campus for that, because they are again implying actions of violence and creating a hostile learning environment.
|12 weeks 20 hours ago||Hostile learning environment||
OU President Boren's statement on the expulsions explicitly states that the actions by SAE led to a hostile learning environment on the campus & that was grounds for expulsion. That's not a bad bar to set. If a student group at UM called for hanging n****rs in trees just like the SAE song said, I'd expect UM to do the same. Any other comparable hate speech should also be grounds for expulsion at any school.
|12 weeks 22 hours ago||To answer the OP's SAM questions||
You had mentioned in the original post that you were wondering as to the outcome of the SAM incident at Treetops. Here is the latest that the situation stands at right now (much of this was covered on the board previously a few weeks ago when the penalty was announced):
The university has given the fraternity the death penalty, effectively, by barring it from campus for 4 years minimum, and they'd have to apply to be reinstated in the future. The current brothers can appeal this decision, but it does not seem likely they will do so. It is perceived that UM gave them the death penalty because UM SAM has circled the wagons and is refusing to name names, probably out of fear those brothers would face criminal or civil prosecution. In the decision given by the UM dean that issued the punishment, she repeatedly pointed out that no individuals responsible for the damages have been named to either the MI state police or to UM by SAM. So, by circling the wagons, they effectively have killed the fraternity, preferring to all go down with the ship. SAM national has not pulled UM SAM's charter, meaning they can live in the house for the remainder of the school year. The corporation that owns the SAM house (it's owned by alumni and rented to the current bros) will not be renting it next year to the current brothers at the present time.
I am personally very disappointed in the current incarnation of SAM, especially in the "leadership" they have currently in their house. If they were truly leaders, this wouldn't have happened in the first place.
|12 weeks 23 hours ago||How free speech works||
Since there seem to be many comments in here about whether or not the expulsion would be a violation of their free speech rights, here's a friendly reminder about the first amendment. It protects you from government prosecution. That's it. While you can argue that a public university may be a government organization and their discipline would violate the 1st amendment, open racism is most likely a violation of the school's honor code, allowing for the expulsion. Or in this case, OU's president thinks they're assholes and is showing them the door. I applaud President Boren for his swift action on this.
|13 weeks 4 days ago||For the record||
from a former SAM, here's the timeline.
In the mid 90s we got kicked off campus for something before my time. In 1999 they recolonized the frat, but they lost their house when it burned down during the summer when no one was living there. We didnt burn down our house and the insurance adjusters never solved what caused it to happen (or if they did, I was never told). In fall of 2000 I was a pledge in the house-less house, signing up to join under promises from national that they were going to buy us a house.
They tried to build the frat back up to the size where national would spring for a new house, but national wouldn't front the $ without us getting enough guys. we couldn't get enough guys to pledge in 2001 without a house, and we couldn't get a house without enough guys to pledge. In 2002 the house folded after spring semester. In 2004 national SAM recolonized and bought the new kids a house right away, having learned from their mistake with us, which enabled them to get enough bodies since people would actually pledge the frat again.
|13 weeks 5 days ago||Wow, harsh||
As a former UM SAM, I've weighed in on the other threads on this incident. I was always calling for punishment (you can check my comments history) because I felt that the brothers responsible for the damages should be kicked out of the frat, and made to pay back the damages. I didn't think they should boot the whole house though, that seemed excessive. As long as those directly responsible were punished, at least. This punishment is quite harsh IMO. I wonder if the U felt the whole house was responsible and there were not enough good apples worth salvaging after booting all the bad ones, so they just booted the whole bunch?

I was at M00N live and in person last year in Evanston, which was awful and boring as hell. If it wasn't for the booze I had before the game giving me a nice happy buzz, it would've been the worst thing ever.
The year before that, I was again at Michigan @ Northwestern. While the ending of the game became known for Gibbons' last second field goal scramble, sending it to OT, up until that point it was 9-6 in one of the worst games I'd ever seen in my life. In hindsight, it was just setting me up for the awfulness that was M00N.
In 2009, I was at Michigan @ Illinois when we failed on 1st and goal from the 2, and proceeded to throw away the rest of that season. I was in the 2nd row on the Michigan side of the field, and you could just see the spirit in the players die and their shoulders slump when Illinois marched it 99 yards to score on the ensuing drive.
I was also at Michigan @ Northwestern in 1996 when we lost on a last second field goal.
Maybe I just need to stop seeing Michigan whenever they come to Illinois.

I'm glad to help out and share my views, given that I am in the position of actually having been a SAM at UM. I'd like to think I've been just as vocal (see my posts in the other threads on this) as many on here, as I am deeply embarrased by these guys giving both my frat and my school a bad name.
|17 weeks 6 days ago||Back in my day||
(A decade ago, I graduated in Dec 2003), SAM was actually mostly midwest guys. The largest population was from Chicago, followed by Detroit, and then NY/NJ. The East Coast bro guys went into Zeta Beta Tau instead of SAM. But I have heard from friends and fellow alums that have encountered the current crop of SAMs at homecomings and such that they are Jersey Shore douchebros. I wouldn't have joined SAM with its current membership today.
|18 weeks 2 min ago||Might be a cousin||
but I don't recall ever meeting a Don Cohodes. My dad would've been involved in SAM at that time frame, but he didn't go to UM, he went to UI-Chicago. But I agree with you this current crop of SAMs should be suspended for a time, and their antics were way worse than anything you or I did as SAMs.
|18 weeks 3 hours ago||Exactly||
I agree completely, and that is why I have been more than willing to weigh in here as a former SAM, and been willing to post emails I receive like this (though who knows if they'll keep sending them to me if they get word I posted this). The UM chapter needs to publicly boot out the members responsible for the damages, and I am disappointed that they have still not stated just how many were involved in the mayhem. Also, the fact that the other members didn't do anything to stop it also disappoints me. This means to me either one of two things: 1) the # of brothers doing the damages outnumbered the # of brothers not doing the damage, leading those not involved to be afraid to say anything, or 2) the brothers doing the damages were high-ranking members of the fraternity with seniority. If it was freshmen or sophomores, then the juniors and seniors in authority should have been able to put a stop to it if they had any leadership at all. That is why I am so disgusted with the chapter and am willing to publicly state so as a SAM alum from UM.
|18 weeks 4 hours ago||not quite||
While that would have been fitting, given the tone of the email, the subject line was the far more apt "SAM at Michigan"
|18 weeks 4 hours ago||I doubt||
that Alan expected it to get posted to mgoblog, but yeah, he should've assumed that it would get out. And if any current SAMs are on here (which there has to be at least one, I'd imagine), I'd love it if they weighed in too. And if any current or former SAMs are mad at me for posting this internal email, well they can hit me up on twitter to bitch if they want, but I frankly don't care if they are upset.
|18 weeks 4 hours ago||Sigma Delta Tau||
SDT is the sorority that was at the resort with the bros from SAM
|18 weeks 5 hours ago||I'd be surprised too||
if they booted the chapter for that, considering some of the other things that fraternities have been booted off campuses for both at UM and other schools. I definitely think that they should boot all members that were specifically responsible for the damages though. Those guys should not be in SAM.
|18 weeks 22 hours ago||Don't remember||
I don't remember, unfortunately. It burned down the summer right before my freshman year. I pledged the house based on the frat promising us pledges that national was going to find us a house for soph year. That didn't materialize, and we had to sell that same story to the following year's pledges. Those kids were smarter than us, and we had a tiny pledge class. National yanked us around, and we ultimately folded. On the plus side, I instead lived with the girl that would become my wife for junior and senior year, instead of with a bunch of frat bros.
|18 weeks 1 day ago||Thus far silence||
I have not gotten any emails from either the chapter or the national SAM organizations pertaining to this incident, unless they were caught in my email's spam filter and automatically deleted. I'm actually disappointed that they have not sent out any sort of missive pertaining to this incident. I'm also not very active in the fraternity alum association, having distanced myself from national after they basically hosed our group of brothers. My dad, who used to be on the national executive board for SAM, also has distanced himself from the frat and he hasn't heard anything either. We're both still on their mailing list, but it's been total silence thus far.
In case you're curious, the reason that my dad and I pretty much have cut ties with the frat is because of the way they treated our group of members. Our house had burned down through no fault of our own (it was summer and we weren't there), and they would not help us to get a new house, despite all our best efforts to convince national to help. We wound up folding my sophomore year because of the fact that it's pretty hard to get pledges if you have no house. My senior year at UM, national decided to recolonize the fraternity, bought the new kids the house they have now, and didn't reach out to us in any way to see if we wanted to be involved in the relaunch. That ticked off my dad royally, and he immediately stopped sending them $ as an alum.
As to the SDTs, I doubt they did anything in terms of the damages, this strikes me as more something that the guys did. I am glad that all 6 frats and sororities are getting punished by their national organizations, but they all, SAM especially, need to take more steps to make this right than they have done so far.

|18 weeks 1 day ago||Communal punishment||
is extremely common in the world we live in. For example: in the military, the whole unit doing pushups because of one guy's mistake. Or the whole football team running wind sprints after one or a handful of players made a mistake. When I played HS football, whenever the defense sacked the QB in practice, the offensive line had to run a lap of the field. Is that fair to the 4 linemen who were blocking their guy when only one guy biffed? No, but that's the way it's done.

Ernie was a legend & a super nice guy. I met him once when I was a kid. I was at a game at Wrigley in the 80s, & before the game they had a veterans game with many retired players including Banks participating. Afterwards he went up into the stands to take his seat, which was coincidentally in the section I was in that day. Despite him getting swarmed by many autograph seekers, including myself, he was gracious & kind, signing things for all of us. I still have the score card he signed for me, framed & hanging on the wall of my office. He was a classy guy & will be missed by all in Wrigleyville. I hope he's playing 2 with Santo right now.

|18 weeks 5 days ago||Former Sammy here||
I weighed in on this in the original thread when this was first reported, expressing my disappointment in these idiots, and I would like to add more to the discussion now that there are more details out. Here are my thoughts:
1) Now that I know more the extent of the damage (45 rooms damaged, wow!) I am even more disappointed in my former brothers than I was before. They have to pay fully for repairs, out of their own pockets. National SAM should not bail them out here. If either the chapter or national asks me for money as an alum they can take a hike.
2) UM is absolutely right to suspend the frat, and should do so with the other organizations that damaged the other hotel.
3) I am disappointed in the statement released by the chapter president, who stated that the actions were of "a few members" - direct quote. I call bullshit. A few members should not have been allowed to commit that level of damage on that many rooms without the leadership stepping in to stop it. It was clearly way more than just a few members. Unless he has a different definition of "a few" than I do. This is clearly a failure of leadership on his part for not reigning them in, and he should resign as chapter president.
4) If it was truly just a few members, then those members should be kicked out of the frat. If it was pledges that haven't been inducted yet, then they should be immediately barred from any further SAM activity and stripped of their pledge status.
These morons have acted in a way that made both SAM and UM look very poorly, and I will forever be disappointed in these idiots. I am ashamed to be a SAM alum today.

I never met any of the new kids from the recolonized house, but I am still thoroughly disappointed in these guys. I will be curious to see the next email from National as well as from the local chapter, to see how they address this issue. They sure as hell won't be getting any $ from me to cover the cost of this, they should have to pay out of their own pockets.

If we get good production out of our QB this year, whichever one we go with, and he stays healthy, we have a pretty high ceiling, probably 11-1. Films in English: Inside Man - a great heist movie; Children of Men - bleak but awesome sci-fi; Warrior - great MMA film; L.A. Confidential - best modern noir movie; Eastern Promises - incredible mob movie; Lord of War - a bleak look at arms dealing; High Fidelity - one of the few romantic comedies I can tolerate
Kids movies that adults will actually love: Wreck-it Ralph; The Lego Movie

Seriously, Pres Schliss can't delay the firing any longer now that this is out there, right?
Also, a LOT of users on here owe Wolverine Devotee a massive apology.

that would possibly be an upgrade? We have to promote Nuss or Matts to interim, because any possible upgrade coach out there is busy coaching the team he's currently coaching, and wouldn't move midseason. Your argument makes no sense.

|31 weeks 6 days ago||Was that the original point of the post?||
Or was that just from the comments?
Anyways - my advice to WD - switching majors and careers is a good thing to do early in your college career. Don't be like me and figure out what you want to do after college, when you have to go back to school to get another degree all over again, because that's really effing expensive. Talk to your counselor, take some tests that can help you figure out what you want to do, and good luck!

but now that I've calmed down a bit (I was really angry upon reading the article earlier today) I realize that it kind of came across that way. That was not my intent. if I offended you or anyone else here on the board, I do apologize for that. I don't particularly follow BYU football so I was not aware of the # of Pacific Islanders on their team, but that shouldn't surprise me considering BYU has a campus on the island of Oahu. I was thinking more in terms of the Mormon church's history of being a rather Caucasian faith, and the school producing QBs like Steve Young & Jim McMahon.
EDIT: Upvoted you for your honesty in explaining why you downvoted me.
|32 weeks 1 day ago||Racist fans suck||
Any person that claims to be a Michigan fan but uses the N-word in direct messages to players should do the following:
1) delete your MGoUser account if you're on here - we don't want you here
2) stop being a Michigan fan - you are a disgrace to the University you claim to support and we don't want you representing the rest of us on the fan base
3) don't use the N-word on social media towards any current or former players of UM. It is possible recruits may see your idiocy and decide to not come here. Recruiting is struggling enough thanks to the on the field performance, you don't need to make it any harder.
4) go root for BYU - you will likely not have to root for a non-white player very often, this should make you happy
5) seriously evaluate your life choices & what turned you into such a bitter, hate filled person.
DG, and Denard before him, gave everything for this school. I am proud to call them fellow alumni of this University, and I am glad to have rooted for them in their time here. They have been great representatives of everything Michigan should stand for.

then yeah, I agree with you, that it was stupid as hell by the university. We couldn't see the police presence on the tv, just the Minnesota fans heading down to field-side, and my friend watching the game with me was speculating whether or not Minny was going to try and rush the field.

|35 weeks 2 days ago||This is how I spent yesterday||
The 2 Mike's Hard Lemonades were after I had run out of the good beer, swiped those from my wife's booze inventory. Had gotten a choose your own six pack from the store before the game, thinking that'd be enough, and thinking that I'd get to enjoy some new beers. Yeah, bad mistake thinking that 6 would be enough. 8 was barely enough, but I'm a lightweight now that I'm a decade out of college.
|35 weeks 2 days ago||The rushing the field thing||
Maybe it was not apparent from your vantage point in the stadium, but they showed it clearly on the TV: as the clock was winding down, the Michigan fans were heading up the stairs & out of the stadium, while the Minnesota fans were heading down towards the field. It looked like they were considering rushing our field to celebrate that they took the jug back. I'm pretty sure that was what the police presence was for, was to deter Minnesota fans from jumping down onto our field.

Many (if not all) temples do Sunday School, not Saturday School, because of the restrictions on working on the Sabbath. No one can teach the kids, because that'd be work, and you can't work on the Sabbath. My temple growing up did Sunday School, plus Hebrew School on Thursday nights.

|37 weeks 4 days ago||Beating kids is not OK||
It's one thing to spank your child, it's another to use a weapon to do so. Had another person done this to AP's kid, that person would've been arrested for assault. If this is what your kid looks like after you "discipline" him, then you're doing it wrong.
That's AP's kid's leg. Note the multiple red marks all over the legs. This is not spanking, this is whipping. AP should join Ray Rice on the indefinitely suspended list.
And to people who say "well, in my parent's/grandparent's day, this was ok" I say you know what else was ok back then? Jim Crow laws. Times change, society evolves.
This is child abuse, pure and simple. If anyone taking care of my son ever left marks on him like that, they better hope the cops get to them first before I do.

|37 weeks 6 days ago||I'll ask the mods||
I sent a tweet to the mods for them to weigh in. If this is too OT, they can bring it down & I'm fine with that, chalk it up to a lesson learned. I thought it was fine because:
a) we've been discussing Ray Rice and Roger Goodell in multiple threads, and all Rice did was punch his girlfriend, not kill her
b) because it beats another coaching changes/start Shane over DG/fire everyone thread that have been prevalent here lately.
c) its still about sports
Again, if the mods feel differently, they can delete the post and I'll be fine with it.

Congrats and have fun on the ride! Parenthood is crazy in the early months. As was earlier mentioned, watch out for sleep deprived fights, those can be nasty. Do as much as you can to help your wife as often as possible, be it with feedings, changing the diapers, etc, because she'll come to resent you quickly if you don't help at all.
My son who is almost 3 now isn't as in to Michigan as I would like him to be, but with the season going now, we'll see if I can get him to pay more attention to football. He's too busy playing with his cars. He did learn to say "Go Blue" "Michigan" and "Wolverines" as some of his first words though. I'll have to stock up at M-Den for some more shirts for him the next time I'm in Ann Arbor, I'm a Chicagoland native like you and it's hard to find stuff for him here to wear. He's got 1 UM shirt in his size, compared to many many comic book hero shirts.

|1 year 2 weeks ago||I've got a projector||
I'm on my 2nd projector now for TV watching, it's a Sony 720p HD projector with an HDMI input, so I can watch hi-def sports or movies (we bought an HDMI splitter jack so we have 3 HDMI inputs instead of 1), and we watch it on a blank white wall. The projector was about $900 when we bought it, but that was also about 5 years ago. I think comparable ones sell for around $600-700 now. It's absolutely amazing if it is dark out. If it is daytime though, the picture can be a bit washed out, or hard to see if the imagery on the screen is dark. If you are going to go the projector route, I strongly encourage you to get the darkest possible shades for your windows that you can, to block out as much outside light as possible. Here is what the image looks like in the daytime, and we just have vertical blinds on the windows, so not dark curtains. The porch window is directly to the right of the screen, which is why the image is more washed out on that side.

The NCAA and Mark Emmert are just all kinds of incompetent and stupid, even when an organization like Yahoo does all of the research for them like on the Miami scandal, and then they still drop the ball.

Seriously, a 1 year suspension for pot, for a kid that had passed 8 previous drug tests? Thanks NCAA and your joke of a regulation system for forcing Mitch into leaving for the NBA. The NCAA is the most broken, bullshit, ridiculous system.
I wonder if he has cause to sue the NCAA for lost wages from the NBA since he wouldn't be able to stick around another year and improve his draft stock?
As to Mitch, I loved watching you play for us and you had such great passion and enthusiasm. You will be missed by all Michigan fans and I know I'm not alone in wishing you the best of luck in the future!
|1 year 7 weeks ago||This has been covered||
What was as he supposed to say, "Gibbons won't play this week because he has been expelled from school due to his involvement in a sexual assault case"?
You are wrong. This has been covered previously, on the main page, and on the boards, including input from lawyers who are mgoreaders. No, Hoke couldn't say that, not without opening himself up to a lawsuit from the Gibbons family, for discussing the academic standing of a student publicly without that student's permission. Hoke's options were as follows, without exposing himself to a lawsuit:
a) "it's a familty matter"
b) "violation of team rules"
c) no comment
Both a and b were both half-truths, and he could've gone with either. He probably would've been better off with going with b, so it looked at least like Gibbons was being punished for something, in terms of appearance's sake. But, saying violation of team rules would've gotten the press searching for what that violation was, leading to a distraction right before a bowl game. Saying "family matter" nipped questions in the bud and allowed the team to focus on the game they were about to play. going with c would've also resulted in a press storm and distraction.

I have been to colder games but the 2013 @ NW game was the most miserable both in terms of the awful product on the field, and the cold rain all game long combined for just a wearying, miserable afternoon. I'm just glad we got out of there with a W, because suffering through that for a loss would've been way worse.
Also, 2010 vs Penn State was pretty miserable too, it was cold and rainy but not as cold as 2013 NW.

|1 year 22 weeks ago||& for the record||
I only speed like a lunatic on highways. On surface streets I keep it to < 5 over the limit 95% of the time. I also always use my turn signal, keep 2 hands on the wheel, don't tailgate, and don't cut people off or weave in packed traffic. I just like to get where I am going as fast as possible so if the road is open I will take it as fast as I can. I've done 120 on open highway before on empty roads. I made the drive from my childhood home in Deerfield IL to my student apartment in Ann Arbor, a distance of 267 miles, in 2 hours and 50 minutes of driving time once. It was from 2-5 in the morning and the road was completely empty.
|1 year 22 weeks ago||leadfooted IL driver here||
Coincidentally, my last ticket was for the same speed as Clowney's ticket. I was pulled over for doing 86 in a 55 zone on the highway, on empty roads in dry conditions. In IL, 30+ over the limit means the cop has to arrest you for reckless driving, can't just give you a ticket. However, if you ask him nicely and are polite to him through the pullover process, he may be willing to drop your speed down on the citation and give you the ticket for 84 in a 55 zone, so it's a big ticket at 29 over, but not an arrest. This is what happened with me.
Considering Clowney's ticket was for 84 in a 55 zone, I wonder if there is a similar law on the books about an arrest for 30 over the limit in the place he was pulled over, and the cop was doing him a favor by putting him at that speed on the citation. It wouldn't surprise me.
I have a severe leadfoot, but have gotten better with age and now that I'm a dad. In my 16 years of driving motor vehicles, I've been pulled over about 30-odd times, but only received maybe a dozen tickets. I have a pretty decent success rate at talking my way out of them, or in the case of the two times I talked it down to 29 over (the other time I was doing 88 in a 55), talking myself out of getting arrested.

Friday posbangs are how I accumulate points to use on downvoting trolls too. I'm so glad the voting system is back!

Happy Hanukkah to those that already celebrated it, Merry Christmas to those celebrating it next week, Happy New Year for the week after, Happy Kwanzaa whenever that is celebrated to those who celebrate that, Happy Festivus to the rest of us!
And Happy Birthday to all the December birthdays out there including myself, and my mgoavatar who turned 2 yesterday. His party is tomorrow so that should be fun. My wife set it up with a Bubble Guppies theme, his favorite TV show. At least it's not Barney or Elmo.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!

I do have some stuff in my mancave. The prizes of my collection (all Chicago sports teams, sadly no good UM stuff yet aside from my diploma)
An Ernie Banks autograph on a scorecard, a Jeremy Roenick autographed picture, a Jim Harbaugh autographed Bears sweatshirt (from his playing days for the Bears), a John Paxson autographed Bulls pennant, and an autographed photo of Mike Singletary. All are autographs that I got in person from the player in question, as opposed to bought.
The Paxson autograph has a bit of a cool story bro backstory to it. If you remember the OJ Simpson murder case, he had flown to Chicago the night of the murders. It was to play in a charity golf tournament at my dad's country club. I was there with my dad, who was president of the golf board, and would've had OJ as his playing partner. Instead, OJ flew back home upon learning of the news (not that he didnt already know) of his exwife's death, so instead my dad was partnered with Paxson and I got his autograph instead.

With us losing both of our OTs and still having some depth issues, could we use any of the OL that are transferring?
|1 year 24 weeks ago||I'll be seeing it on Christmas||
unfortunately I don't have time to see it before then, but I am looking forward to seeing this one. I've loved the LOTR series and have enjoyed what they've done with The Hobbit so far. I'm glad to hear that you liked it OP.

It gives you an "access denied" when you try to pull up his posting history
I was looking forward to watching him get downvoted like crazy.
In the meantime, it amuses me that your username is straight out of GoT and the first reply to your comment was by a Jon Snow. +1 to both of you for your usernames.

I lost 3 of my grandparents to it, and my mom had it but beat it, as well. Basically that's the only risk factor in my family, so I know that's what's gonna kill me too some day. But f*ck cancer! I hope the doctors cure it before it gets me.
To Cali Wolverine - I hope the new drug continues to work well on your wife and that she makes a full recovery. That would be a great thing. Keep sharing the news on this, f*ck people that complained about you in the past when you'd talk about this on here.
|1 year 24 weeks ago||Happy Birthday!||
To yourself OP, and to all the other December birthdays out there too! (Mine's Monday, I still can't believe I'll be 32).
