I played all four years of D-1 varsity high school from 96-99 in a deep league out here in CA. We played against teams like De La Salle and went up against LB/RB Lance Briggs who is now the starter for Chicago bears and DJ Wiliams from the Broncos. Non of the kids looked nor trained at that level. Is it mean or are high school kids starting to train like college kids did 15 plus years ago??

California does this same game except its played in May or June and its played against our cross town rivals "Vintage" I was debating on playing in this game 3 years ago but changed my mind after hearing my buddy broke his arm during the game that previous year.

It would be fun to play again since our town is obsessed with football and usually 3-4 thousand people show up just for that game. The most entertaining part is seeing some of the hot cougars cheer leading again! But at age 33 with a 6 year old and one on the way in Feb my Al Bundy days are nothing more than just a memory

Wow this is amazing that people still pay it forward. I am self employed and continue to push that boulder up hill with hope that the top is just a few more feet so I can roll that boulder down hill.

I have been a fan since 96 which was my freshman year of high school and my first year playing football. My position was DB so I will give you one guess as to who drew my attention to Michigan.

What is funny is that my father and older sister are big Ohio fans so the trash talking is none stop year round.

My parents even went so far as to decorate my entire room in scarlet and grey, shit they even bought me a osu football field rug. I will upload a pic later because its pretty sad.

My father is 67 and has never been to an Ohio game since his family moved away from Ohio when he was 10 and my first Michigan game came in 2007 at the rose bowl and I cried from being so overwhelmed.

My father's health is getting worst and his body is breaking down as he gets older from all the years working in law enforcement. It would be pretty a MAIZE ing to take him to the "game" while he can still enjoy it and on a side note I was late to my sisters wedding because of the rain delay when we played western Michigan because I wasn't going to leave my house to miss the game! My wife knows that once the season starts to not plan anything on Saturdays.
