I'd argue that RGIII didn't know what would happen to him.  He thought his injury was one he could play through.  However, RGIII is not a trained physician.  Moreover, in the middle of a competative game, he'd be extremely biased towards staying in.  When you're on the sidelines, you feel like you're letting the team down.  Someone in his position is the LAST person you'd want making the decisions there.  It's exactly why the concussion rules have become a lot stricter.  Sure, the player may feel fine after shaking off the cobwebs.  But one more good hit could kill him.  So he stays out.

I love the fact that against Wisconsin, "Michigan has a slow start" means we're up 4-2.

Here was I expecting jabs at State's inability to reel in linemen for whatever reasons.  Not slamming a high school kid for choosing shot put over football.

Every fanbase has a place where its worst elements gather to vent at everything.  It's the natural result of overly obsessive fandom with the anonymity of the Internet.  Then, the sane ones (and those of rival fanbases) get to point and laugh.  Win-win.

Don't be afraid to retake the ACT if you are a glutton for punishment like that.  The more familiar you can be with it, the better.  Make sure you count EVERY extracurricular you I've done.  The more personal you can make the essay, the better.  If you can talk about how you've overcome some trial and how it made you a better person, etc, etc, all the better.  Hopefully you've been a teacher's pet to at least a couple of teachers, but make sure you ask them for a reccommendation promptly.  They like it if you give them plenty of time to write it.  If you're applying for the Honors program, just make sure the essay best showcases your creativity and thinking process, and you'll be fine.
