I love coach B for the same reasons I love coach Hoke. They are no frills no nonsense hard working guys that aren't like a lot if those smug snake oil type coaches that seem to be all about them. They are also good teachers; and that's important. They don't go batshit crazy when things go wrong, they teach the guys right there on the spot.

It looks like they gave it the Michael Bay treatment. The book is a recount by many people from from all over the world, and from all walks of life on their experience during the apocalypse, and not one centralized story. It's almost like it really happened. The movie looks like the typical summer movie.



I highly recommend the book. The pace and the intriguing and moving stories makes for a really good and quick read.

I think it was subtle, not so much as obvious, that he did it after The Governor asked Tyreese where he got the gasoline to burn the pits, and Tyreese had no clue what he was talking about. The only person I thought could have done it at that point was Milton.



I think the dialogue between Milton and the Governor also gives it away. When Milton reveals his knowledge about what happened and they gave each other a brief knowing glare, I thought "Milt, you sly dog!"

These firings are the reason why I think the majority of teams in professional sports are a joke. These coaches tend to be sacrificial lambs for shitty owners that show no intent on making their teams better.  Really Bills, Browns, Jags,  and Chiefs? You guys have been laughingstocks for years. You think Cowher is gonna walk through the door and do a complete 180 with your team this year? You think some "sexy" college coach whose methods are effective with 18-22, but not with grown millionaires with egos is going to turn things around?

These owners should take a look at every proffesional league regardless of the sport, and look at the perenial contenders. There's a reason why they are the four or five teams that are picked to win championships every year. It's because they have a certain model that they adere to, and they draft players and hire coaches that fit that model.

So by the reasoning should we flame or "break out in hives" if somebody mentions Tractor Traylor, Daniel Horton,  Dugan Fife, or anybody else that played for the basketball team during their dark period? As others have mentioned, the kid played and worked his ass off in an impossible situation, and he didn't cave in despite the negativity.  But since he didn't win games, or make the SC top ten plays of the week, people want to throw shit on his name, and call people butthurt for being called out on it. Really fucking pathetic.
