I was only disappointed from the standpoint of them not going deep more.  However, I do believe it was by design as to try to run the ball down WMU's throats and control the clock.

He was a 4 star recruit as the poster above mentions, but it was quite obvious when he arrived on campus that he was not going to live up to his billing.

I agree with your comments for the most part, but I would point out that this was Pete Carrol's own guy at USC.  That could tell you some as to why they were willing to part with him for such a low pick.

Everyone knew he was coming back.  Though I did believe him for about 24 hours when the rumors were first spreading he was retiring.  I guess that means one more loss for the lions (I expected them to lose at Minny regardless).

I am in a similar position.  So last week when we hung out with them, we went by Michigan Stadium twice and sung the fight song while we were going by.

We should beat MSU.  I predict 5-1 start.  Hopefully it will be a start to a very surprising season (from the media's perspective).  There is nothing I would love more to see RR shove it down the media's throat.
