if there is a stud corner or saftey on the board that warrents a #5 pick take him.  otherwise trade down. wouldn't hate seing them trade down once to 10 and maybe then droping out of the first round completly with another trade.  get a ton of 2nd and 3rd round picks.  Lions don't really need elite tallent anywhere (accept in the secondary, but there isn't any really this year...from what i've seen) they just need alot of good to ok players to add depth and replace some aging player.  (Need a Center a Garde, a DE might be nice, another LB, a GASP WR...(scat back variety maybe Denard if he is there in the 3rd)

Think of it this way. Its better for UConn. They will get to sell more quantity of expensive tickets for the game. As apposed to what I looked into and I'm sure a lot of local um fans have noticed as well. Season tickets for uconn are 95 bucks if I remember right. I bet dollars to donuts they sell out the season tickets to Michigan fans, and they are left with an my stadium the rest off the year because all the tickets are sold out

Devin is only an emergency qb for all intensive purposeses. If denard went down for more than a game I could see them letting belomy and devin compete for time but I would be surprised to hear devin getting many if any qb snaps right now

I could see funch being the 3rd receaver. Meaning in 2wr sets he will be TE. In 3 and 4 wr sets he will split out. I wouldn't be surprised once Moore is back you could see a lot of gardner and funch outside and tree in the slot

2013 - reverse of this year, team is prolly overall less talented than year before due to young tallent, but schedule is far more afvantagous to allow for some early growing pains.  we should win the big ten next year.

So similar topic...I'm just doing one game this year and going to msu um. I love to tailgate but my normal crew backed out of going to the game because there cheap. So just going with the wife. Tailgaiting just the two of us doesn't sound all that fun, but also want to get into town early and get some pregameing done and make sure when is sufficiently "lubed" up too lol. Where would there be a good bar to go grab some grub and some drinks before the game?

think shane is still underated, but honestly even if he is only the 4th best qb int he country. the leadership qualites he has shown make him prolly the most important recruit we have had in a long time.  kid has a chance to get a real personality cult around him.

wouldn't the lack of bleachers, remove a bottleneck of well the bleachers?  i would think besides the tunnel it would be MORE effcient to leave that area. and were talking maybe 25% more people in that section , think student section during a big game, its only the top 1/4 of the stands that aren't filled because everyone crams in lower.

I could see him at 380ish if he was already in school and in a college weight program. but 380 as a Sophmore about to start his junior year...thats alot of mt.dew and bigmacs there......

thats said I think pipkins was up to 350 at one point last year so there is hope, and hopefully coaches tell him he has a ton of potential but he needs to start eating right and get his weight right sooner than later.
