I think Vincent Smith will remain the 3rd down back due to his blocking ability, but agree that Rawls will be the main backup for Toussaint.

He could always go back to Louisville.  I'm sure Rick Pitino could refer him to a good marriage counselor.

Disagree, I can't see the coaches turning away Banner or Garnett.   I think we'll take 28 in this class, with the final 6 spots going to 2 OL, 2 WRs, 1 RB, 1 DB.

Full disclosure: Having grown up in Memphis, this is my nightmare scenario since the Tigers are my second favorite team.  With that said, the PG matchup will be interesting.  Memphis PG Joe Jackson struggled most of the season as a freshman, but he started to put it together in March.  If he reverts back to his old habits then Burke should hold his own.

As I understand it, we were recruiting him as a FB, but he wanted to play RB.

This is very true.  States have also dramatically cut the amount of funding given to public universities (as a relative percentage of total funding) over the last 50 years as well.

The New Orleans secondary's poor performance against Seattle had more to do with injuries than anything else.  After Malcom  Jenkins went down, his backup Darren Sharper and Roman Harper never seemed to be on the same page.

He's still learning, hard to count of true freshman to make a huge impact.

For me its the 2009 Georgia-LSU game in Athens.  That place was rockin'.

The defense also had 11 stops yesterday so at least we didn't give up a lot of long drives.  If Cam Gordon and the rest of our safeties continue to improve, this defense could be ok by the middle of the conference schedule.

The first time I remember hearing the chant was in 2005 against Penn State.  It probably had something to do with the 400 or so odd PSU students causing a ruckus in the middle of the student section.
