Normally I'm a fan of attention grabbing designes, such as our all-maize jerseys this year, or Baylor's neon last year.  

But this...this is just awful.  Thank goodness we're not wearing these.

I could almost hear his pained facial expression as he realized what he said.

My freshman year was 07, the players never came to the student section until Miami of Ohio in 08 under Rich Rod.  I particularly remember everyone having a collective feeling of "Ok, now what?" for a few moments before the band started playing the victors and the players left.

That's going to make a missed field goal so much more painful.

That colorway of socks and shoes were specifically made for Baylor last year, I dunno why our equipment guys ordered shoes and socks that are clearly nowhere near matching our maize.

The still photos feature a very awkward pose and camera angle made even more awkward by some elementary photoshopping.  

For me, at least, the video provides a much better perspective and realistic representation of what the uniform will look like, and I think it looks cooler.

For three games straight Borseth lets struggling players get extended minutes down the stretch. Kate Thompson was getting blown by on defense and finished with no points. I mean I'm not a coach but these decisions are frustrating and curious.

I've never seen Denard rush with the ball in his right hand.  It's like he's worried about hurting his throwing hand or something, but he only carries it in his left and that has been the primary cause of many of his fumbles.

I don't get why this is even being asked.  If free points are available you take them, especially if you get the ball back with those free points.

This boot isn't as light, but definitely provides more ankle support and traction.  Also, Denards shoes have the custom velcro attachment on them.  Perhaps his 5Stars broke and the only other velcro shoes he had were the Scorches.  Perhaps he needed more traction.  We may never know.

My issue is that all I can hear from the band are the bass drums, and the only thing I can hear from the speakers are the trumpets. So you have to decide which to clap/cheer along with, usually the mic'd music wins out.



But yeah, forget about halftime or pregame, I haven't been able to hear either for the past 4 years.

I'm no football player or coach, but I really don't see why Hopkins was given so many carries.  He's not very fast or shifty, and for a big guy doesn't really get many yards after contact.  It always seems like it's just going straight up the middle behind a pile of linemen for 2 yards, completely ineffective.  Ball security is also an issue, obviously.  

I would really like to see Shaw get more carries.  While he may not be the best guy to consistently get 5 yards, he always seemed like the one who was the biggest threat to rip off a long run (Illinois, and OSU last year).  Also, he seems to be able to run through tackles better than Hopkins, despite being a smaller back.

I was hoping damefan posted a new video.  Disappointed.
