He plays safety on defense and told me he hasn't heard much from Michigan in a while, but he is one of those guys that Michigan could start recruiting the night of National Signing Day and still land him.

I was talking to Donnal a few weeks ago and he told me that Dave Telep loved his game and how he fits perfectly in Dan Dockich's (Marks AAU coach) system. So that could have been a factor in the high ranking

I wouldn't be very worried about ND in Jayru's recruitment.

Bosch is in the Marines game, to my knowledge no Michigan commits have accepted their invitation to the Army game yet.

I've only been able to get ahold of Johnny Miggins (2014 Cass Tech DB) today and he didn't really give me anything earth shattering about the visit. He did mention that Devin looked really good at WR, he was the #3 WR FWIW.

Michigan inivited all the Cass Tech kids back this weekend, I'm guessing it's because last weekend the coaches were too busy to really talk to them. So far the Cass Tech visitor list is:

Damon Webb-Saturday and both his parents are coming with him

Will White, Deon Drake, and Gary Hosey are all visiting Wisconsin this week and as of right now will not make it.

Yep, in my introduction series I've talked to the top 2 sophomores in Detroit and the top sophomore in toledo and they all are big Michigan fans. It will be hard for any other school to beat Michigan for them.

The farthest you should go (without him [im assuming it's a guy] asking for your opinion) is just a "Go blue" I've seen lots of prospects talk about how they loved having fans say "go blue" to them. It makes them feel important without feeling uncomfortable.

I'd look for the coaches to be more involved in the south next year. Peter Kalambai out of NC has Michigan in his top five, Shaq Wiggins out of Georgia has them in his top three, and Laremy Tunsil out of Florida has them in his top five. Shaq and Peter are both four stars, while Laremy is a five star.

I understand that this was a joke, but what is scary for ND is that he was still considered to be better than their other corners. They will have to rely heavily on either Tee Shepherd or Ronald Darby to be their corner next year. What's even better is that they are both soft commits to ND and are seriously considering other schools.

He's got all the tools and attitude to be a star after a year or two at Michigan.

1. Garnett takes his Stanford visit and is impressed but not blown away. In interviews he lists Stanford with as his slight leader or tied with Michigan
2. As the initial reaction of the Stanford visit fades and Garnett analyzes his option he sees that his future may be brighter at Michigan.
3. Brady Hoke uses his in home visit with Garnett an reminds him of why he listed Michigan as his leader in the first place.

College Football is a very profitable business, it's just that the money is going to the wrong places. People also forget that college sports are great advertising tools for a university. I know plenty of people who decided between two colleges based off of the success of their football or basketball program.

In the last three years, rivals has only had one QB in their top ten and that person was 10th so they don't like rating QBs very high. But Josh Helmdolt seems to really like him, so he could have a positive effect on Shane's rating. In the end I'll say yes, just because Shane is awesome and rivals loves pro potential which he has.

Ya my bad, poor phrasing. I meant committed. If the sanctions are moderately bad, then it will be easier to keep people already committed rather than trying to get someone to commit. Decommiting is a stressful process and some guys would rather just sticking it out, so they don't have to worry about starting a controversy.

For anyone who does not know about these two, they played 7 v 7 together last year an are by all accounts friends. So this is simply good hearted competition, not bad blood.

I agree that the smart money is on Paterno leaving this week. But this article did not give me anymore confidence. Chatsports just breaks news by taking pretty obvious information then guessing a detail about it but saying they got it from an inside source. All in a ploy to gain more page views as a "news breaker" Thursday is a smart choice because if it is announced wendsday they can say the story just came out a little early. If it is announced Thursday, then they heroically broke the news accurately. And if it announced Friday they can just say the announcement had to be delayed a little bit.

There is no limit to how many threads should be made to revel what a sick asshole he was. I hope people read all these threads to realize how bad this situation is. I looked up his track numbers and he is one of the fasted hurdlers in the country. I found one of his times was 13.80 seconds. For perspective the eighth place runner in the 2008 Olympic finals ran a 13.69.

Allen Trieu said that he is really talented but teams just don't know where to play him.
