This is all BS. He is using the EXACT same tactic he used in the early 80's when the league tried to force him to sell due to his deliberate tanking to get Ralph Sampson.
He promised he would sell the team on his own then just never did and the league lost interest to pursue after a few years.

If you think a being a top 16 program means you automatically expect them to make the sweet 16 every year, you are delusional. Kentucky did not make sweet 16 last year. Hell. They didn't even make the tourney.
Every program, even the very best, have their ups and downs. We may have some years where we don't even make the tourney, even with Beilein coaching. It will happen. You need to set your expectations accordingly.
The next year's team is going to be very very young. The past couple of years of outcome is an outlier when you have a such young team, not the norm. We will be lucky just to make the tourney. You should be ecstatic if/when we do.
To say that you EXPECT the team to make sweet 16 year after year is doing disservice to the program.

NBA players get paid what they get paid, because they are extremely rare. There isn't another system in the world that says you have to pay top 10% of the workers the same way the top 1% are paid.
There aren't dozens of LeBrons that you can pick up off the street. The NBA players get paid what they get paid because there only few hundred people in the world who can do what they do. There are thousands of NCAA players. The scale is not the same. There is no reason why you should diamond prices for bunch of cubic zirconiums.
That is my pet peeve with all these articles. The vast majority of NCAA players are not unique. There are thousands others who can fill their place (and do every year). To argue that they should be paid like NBA or NFL players who are far rarer is a fallacy.

There are facts to these cases that the university can release without violating FERPA, like when the investigation was triggered, who initiated the review, how the board decided to expel a student. There is no reason for university to put up a wall with no recourse.

Personally, I would never trust installing, or really even visiting those illegal streaming site unless you are very familiar with OS and you are positive you have the machine locked down.
I have Comcast and do the very, very basic cable which includes local channels only, which is $15 per month (on top of internet access). This gives me access to Watch ESPN. As long as I don't mind watching events after they have concluded, this works great and I can watch every Michigan games on ESPN.
On top of this, I have a subscription to Sports Entertainment package which includes BTN and ESPN news, NFL, NBA, and NHL channels. All this for just $10/month. This is without having to upgrade my local only cable.
So for, $25/month, I get almost Michigan games on TV. I don't think that is too bad.

Like I said a month ago, this is a move Hoke HAD to make in order to buy himself more time. With this move Hoke can survive another middling year (which is what next year is going to be likely). If Borges was still around Hoke would definitely fired along with Borges next year.
I hope we get Hue Jackson.

I think people need to get their thick head around the fact that winning consistently is HARD. People had no clue how good they had it with Lloyd Carr and drove him out of town thinking anyone could do better. The ugly truth is that most cannot do better than what Carr did. It maybe a long time before we are back at that level.

Will we have to suffer through crap like this the entire off season?
|34 weeks 4 days ago||What is really disappointing||
What is really disappointing to me is the lack of aggression from the coaching staff. I rather get overly aggressive and get burned than play soft and still get burned any way. The physicality is just not there. There is no such thing as press coverage with this staff and receivers always start clean. The lack of aggressiveness has now manifested into softness where players look slow and uninterested. I am really, really disappointed by Mattison. And someone has to explain to me how our special teams coach still has a job.

Hey, I love Trey as much as anyone around here, but you cannot seriously believe that he has NBA elite level athletic ability. He just doesn't. For example, he posted 36.5 in vertical and 11.09 agility. Those were some of the worst in his group. Compare that to the elite athletic guy in the same draft, Oladipo. He posted 42 in and 10.69. Trey is not in the same league athletically.

I am satisfied with what I have seen so far.

What we do with CERN collider us something that happens constantly in the universe. We are doing it a controlled fashion so that we can measure it, but collisions like this happens literally everywhere you look. And the fact that our universe still exists with all that happening gave the scientists pretty good confidence that nothing drastic like black hole growth was going to occur.

I suspect you will not see much difference within six months or so.

Cloud computing is a nice buzzword, but with fast twitch action games, any lag is a serious deterrent to optimal experience. Don't count on any cloud system to make a difference on these consoles. Whatever difference you see in graphics right now is because of limited time they had with the ports and unfamiliarity.
CPU and bus performance is pretty much the same. Memory access is better for PS4, but you need to be pretty specialized to take advantage of it.
Right now, Ryse is easily the best looking title on any platform. That is not because Xbone hardware is better. The skills of the developers is going to be the difference. Not the hardware.

Lets just say I work in the industry...
|38 weeks 1 day ago||Here is the deal. The||
Here is the deal.
The difference in hardware is minimal. 99.9% of the people will not notice any difference in capabilities.
What separates the two are following:
1. Your friends on network. Which network has most of your gaming buddies? If you play a lot of online multiplayer like COD and Battlefield, this will be the most important factor in choosing a console.
2. Do you care about exclusives? The top titles like Madden, COD, GTA, etc will all be available on both systems and in all practical sense, be identical. Only the platform exclusive titles will set them apart. Are you a big fan of Halo, or excited about upcoming Titanfall? Then Xbone is for you. If you are more Killzone, Uncharted, MGS, or GOW guy, PS4 is it.
3. Motion Gaming. Are you a big fan of motion based gaming like Kinect? Then Xbone is your choice. Sure PS4 has the Eye, but is not a default controller like Kinect is and support will be spotty.
Personally, I bought Xbone since I have extensive game clans on Xbox Live. But I will probably get PS4 next year.
P.S. If you have grade school kids, or a fan of classic gaming, WiiU is the best choice.

|38 weeks 4 days ago||This is insanity. With even||
This is insanity. With even younger offensive line and difficult road games, we are easily going to lose 4 to 5 games next year. Switching the OC now would have given Hoke a fighting chance. Now, one more season like this and he can kiss his dream job goodbye. I don't get why you would jeopardize yourself like this.
I don't see how the next season is going to turnout any better than this season.

But I spend thousands of dollars every other year to attend a single game. I was at the ND game this year. I will be there again even if they lose every game next year.
My allegiance to Michigan does not change just on win/loss record.
|39 weeks 4 days ago||Going to the game when they||
Going to the game when they are winning and not going when they are losing is by DEFINITION a fair-weather fan. Opinions, mine or yours have nothing to do with it.
We have no idea whether changes are coming or not, so to declare that no changes will happen without fans showing up is a moot point. I have yet to see a program that does not make changes when they are losing. I am not sure why you think we are so special in that regards.
|39 weeks 4 days ago||Look, you guys can pat||
Look, you guys can pat yourself on the back with all the flowery prose on why you won't be going to the games anymore.
But the bottom line is that motives are not what distinguishes true fans from fairweather ones. It is the behavior of supporting your team through good times AND bad, that separates true fans from fairwrather ones.
And if your behavior is indistinguishable from fairweather fans, then you are one.
|39 weeks 4 days ago||Did this coaching staff go||
Did this coaching staff go through some dramatic changes that I am not aware of? This is the same coaching staff from last year and year before that. Did you stop coming to the game when they first came in? No?
then you are not going to the game because they are not winning. If coaching changes are made and new coaches keep on losing you are going to call for more coaching changes and stop going to the games again.
Just be honest to yourself. You are not going because they are losing. Period.
|39 weeks 4 days ago||Then there is no such a thing||
Then there is no such a thing as "fairweather fan".
You can come up with any excuse you want, but going to the games when they are winning and not when they are losing is by definition fairweather fan.
