The lack of Ohio recruits would be worrisome if Hoke was settling for lesser prospects but, as has been pointed out, he is getting higher rated recruits instead. If Ohio is locked down a couple years from now and Hoke is getting shut out nationally then there will be reason for concern. I guess he could always take a few cues from one of his coaching neighbors and start recruiting internationally and galactically if that happens.

Rutgers had 7 NFL draft choices and seems to generally get 3 star players. Does this mean that MSU has been replaced as the ultimate power in talent development? Do the weeds in New Jersey have enough room for Dantonio to lay in them for an opportune moment or are they too full of mafia related corpses? Would corpses stop Dantonio from said laying?

I wish they would stop playing up the whole "They're not intimidated" angle. This isn't the '80s or early '90s when top seeds were stocked with future NBA stars or college legends. This is the era when a team like George Mason, VCU, Butler, etc. does something every year. Anyone who is a 12 seed and above are relatively equal.

I have to disagree with the assertion that everyone in the US would be crying for a replay if the USMNT had lost. I think most people would be yelling for JK's head and complaining about the team's lack of grit, the fractured locker room, and that the team couldn't beat a warm weather country in the snow. The USSF would get plenty of criticism for scheduling a game during a snowstorm too.

As a whole no one would be clamoring for a replay.

I'm sure there wouldn't be a related thread about how those created policies are unjust. You could say  the policy ensures that only that the most committed students get into the the Maize Rage rather than someone with no real interest.

The lack of quality recruiting after the Big Two is still disturbing. A top heavy conference is better than a deep conference (ex. SEC) but you need more than two nationally relevant teams to qualify as top heavy in the first place.

There was a formal investigation of Sandusky in the 90's that went nowhere for reasons unknown. On the surface at least, there are a lot of similarities between the two cases. The obvious difference is that one involves the rape of children and the other involves rape of adults. Not a big difference in my opinion.

Illinois would never give up their rivalry with Michigan.

Big Ten recruiting does not look good at this time. It looks like Nebraska would not even finish in the top 25. Only Michigan and OSU are recruiting at a level that allows national relevance.

The coach also has a responsibility to keep the integrity of the game intact. The commissioner has that responsibility too. Popovich has the right to rest his players but to rest four starters against a good team is the same as taking a loss. He could have rested one or two guys a night and spread it out over a couple of games.

If Popovich and the Spurs get punished they will have earned the punishment. Of course, it's not the end of the work either.

According to the manager AP was being a jerk the entire night. Closing time came and he was more interested in being belligerent than leaving. It appears that he forced the hand of security and ended up being arrested. Should he have just been allowed to do whatever he wished because he's AP?
