17 weeks 1 day ago The only way I believe he was duped...

...is if it turns out that a girl pretending to be LK actually spent time Skyping with Manti. Maybe this girl even showed up in Hawaii a few times because she wanted a free trip to Hawaii or something.

That would be a huge conspiracy. But it might make sense, since that girl was probably also trying to scam the Cardinals player (which is why he says he's met her, but then immediately shut up about details).

1 year 3 weeks ago What's step one?

We probably need some clients, or at least patents to troll with?

1 year 3 weeks ago Any patent attorneys in the house?

If so, I think it's time to break off from litigation hell and form our own business/firm

1 year 22 weeks ago The most confusing thing to me ...

If everyone knew, then was it really a "culture of silence?"

Also, do people think that JoePa looks less culpable if the police knew but refused to act?

1 year 23 weeks ago Since when is Arizona closer

Since when is Florida closer to Arizona than Michigan?

1 year 24 weeks ago Here we go:

This is the video that the move is supposedly from:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zN6mEQ8m9A

EDIT: After clicking around YouTube a little bit, I realized that the "we eatin'" meme is pretty popular right now. Even Chris Brown has a dance clip.

1 year 24 weeks ago He's eating

There's a youtube video of some top chef going through a bunch of motions, including Denard's eating motion. A poster posted that video on here the first time Denard did that, claiming that the team was mimmicking the chef. I think the whole board though that poster was crazy at the time, but now I think he may have been on to something.

1 year 24 weeks ago He's also responsible for

He's also responsible for recruiting Tebow, and he got a hell of a lot of mileage out of him. I don't believe that every coach would have gotten as much out of Tebow as Meyer did. Sure he relied on Tebow a ton, but isn't that kinda that point? Every coach has their star players ... Where would Carr have been without Woodson? RichRod without Pat White/Steve Slaton?

1 year 26 weeks ago Whats the process

...for drafting and filing a grand jury report? I imagine its based on testimony, but not necessarily accurate in all instances?

1 year 26 weeks ago Very odd

But keep in mind that the DA likely had dozens, if not hundreds, of criminal cases. Could just have easily been a gang related disappearance, or whatever.

1 year 26 weeks ago As a lawyer myself ...

I can tell you that every time we file something under seal, its an adventure. Inevitable some secretary always manages to file the wrong thing. Not saying that's what happened here, but I wouldnt be surprised.

1 year 27 weeks ago Wouldnt go to jail anyways

I dont believe the code provides for jail time, even if you stretched it to cover JoePa.

1 year 27 weeks ago You're spot on

In my opinion, it's clear that JoePa didn't understand the magnitude of what was going on around him, and probably figured that enough people (i.e. the police in '98, and the AD) were aware of the allegations. Reading his statements, I actually feel bad for JoePa, who was obviously blindsided and now feels both betrayal and guilt. I agree with his retirement, but don't understand why people are so intent on punishing JoePa as if he were anywhere near as culpable as Sardasky himself.

1 year 27 weeks ago Re: Denard's interception

I believe the ball the got intercepted was tipped, and by rule there is no pass interference on tipped passes.

1 year 29 weeks ago Disagree

Carr recruited his players, and it would have been pretty shitty of him to refuse to sign their transfer papers. It doesn't say that Carr encouraged anyone to transfer, just that we wasn't going to hold anyone hostage. I don't hold it against him.

1 year 30 weeks ago Yup -

And I believe that the DB was our veteran Troy Woolfolk. I think MSU just played better than we did, plain and simple.

1 year 30 weeks ago I haven't posted in this site forever, but ...

I want to point out that Gholston was pretty aggressive after every tackle he made. I don't recall all the plays, but if you watch yesterday broadcast, you'll see that he "lays" on top of the ball carrier after tackles and makes sure to land a few hits while pretending to get up. He did things like that on virtually every tackle he was in on.

1 year 51 weeks ago Question about buying tickets

I want to buy two for my dad, who is an alumn. I am not, though, nor do I have any of his log-in information (he may not even have an account). Can I sign up under the friend account and still get equal access?

2 years 14 weeks ago 21 posts ...

And nobody has questions the veracity of the video? I wonder if he can throw as hard as Mike Vick:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cu8XNJmQsCI

Just kidding. Sort of. Very cool video, but my skeptic-alert is mildly triggered.

2 years 15 weeks ago Curious

Why do you have to wait for it? Why not just read it tomorrow?

2 years 15 weeks ago Just curious ...

Why do you have to wait for it? Why not just read it tomorrow?

2 years 15 weeks ago Unfortunately

The voice they share likes to speak of touching kids

2 years 15 weeks ago Not on my machine

Though I would be down for a cheeseburger

2 years 15 weeks ago Also ...

Is the entire staff taught to use phrases like "touch kids?"

2 years 15 weeks ago I'd hate to be him

Everyone knows that you don't want to be the guy that follows the legend (i.e. Barwis)

2 years 16 weeks ago To be fair ...

I believe his dad said that Tate had two incomplete grades. I dont know whether "not allowing Tate to complete his grades after the semester is over" is equivalent to "we dont want him here."

2 years 16 weeks ago The whole Tate thing...

Is weird. Basically nobody really knows what happened, and nobody really cares, either. Also, what ever happened to spending a semester at CC and then coming back?

I would have loved to see him get his act together, come back, and succeed at Michigan, but alas it appears that won't happen.

2 years 16 weeks ago Lets hear

your discussion on Type A / B muscle fibers. Now I'm curious for my own benefit. I promise I won't tl,dr

2 years 17 weeks ago If we're airing our concerns ...

I wonder how Denard will throw in an offense that isn't based on the zone read. In RichRod's offense, Denard accumulated most of his yards on short screens, and hit receivers who were wide open after defenses overplayed the run.

I'm curious to see if Borges can create similar situations for Denard, or alternatively, how Denard will fare against defenses that arent looking to defend his running abilitys.

2 years 17 weeks ago WTF

I have so many questions ... Why exactly is he leaving - did he really flunk out or is there more going on?

Also, given the timing of this ... almost looks like drunk texting gone wrong. Except his spelling is better than mine when I'm drunk.

2 years 17 weeks ago As a Ravens fan ...

I am a little mixed on the hire. I thought he did a nice job with the Raven's D, so +1 for Michigan. On the other hand, there were a lot or rumblings that the Ravens wanted him out, and I suspect that the Michigan job is a convinient way for him to leave the Ravens on good terms.

That said, I don't really care whether the Ravens still wanted him or not. I think he'll do well at UM.

2 years 17 weeks ago Ravens offense

has been laying a total egg. Even when they were up 21-7, it was pretty clear that they were in trouble because they hadn't been able to move the ball at all. It was just a matter of time until the Steeler's offense worn down the Ravens and put some points on the board.

Raven's still have a chance, but now the Steelers offense is rolling and the Raven's haven't gotten anything going on offense.

2 years 17 weeks ago I do think you are being paranoid

In my opinion the bigger concern is keeping the competition at the QB position going. As much as I love Denard, I think he needs to keep working on his passing and no player should be guaranteed a starting spot.

2 years 17 weeks ago Well

I can't speak for everyone, but in the situations I know of, the firms have become so desperate for work that they basically let the clients name the price. (Foreign included)

In any event, I'm doing litigation. Kinda curious if I could get a better pay/hours worked deal in prosecution, but would need to pass the patent bar first.

2 years 17 weeks ago I'm seeing patent prosecutors take it on the chin

Clients have an idea of how much they want to pay per action, and that's all they'll pay. As such, a lot of my prosecution buddies are working their asses off and not able to bill for anything. They work like 4 hours and end up billing 1, since the clients are starting to have the power to pay whatever they feel like.

2 years 17 weeks ago $400/month?

That's not bad at all, is it? Depending on your rate/loan duration, isn't that like $30k total in debt? If you land the large firm salary then that should be a quick repay, no?

2 years 17 weeks ago they probably keep them

But I doubt that Borges will give itmuch attention. One thing I've learned from all these coaching changes is that each coach does things his own way and doesn't really care what other coaches do. So any spread concepts we see will be Borges' and not copied from richrods playbook

2 years 18 weeks ago What if ....

...Devin plays QB and we win 8 games? I know people will be sad abotu Denard leaving, but there are other ways to win games other than having Denard run on every play.

2 years 18 weeks ago Sweet Strawman, Bro

I don't think anyone said it was ok not to win NCs ... Just the original poster speculating. I doubt his post reflects DB's thought.

2 years 18 weeks ago Don't assure him he's a starter

Assure him that he can compete for the starting QB spot just like any other QB on the roster. Isn't that one thing RichRod taught us?

2 years 18 weeks ago But is DC @ UM >> HC @ SDSU?

It's not like we're asking a BCS caliber HC to take a demotion to DC ... Hoke's current position is HC at SDSU, which is not really a big stage. I'd say that taking the DC position at UM is, at the very least, equivalent to his current position.

2 years 18 weeks ago If the team meeting is today ...

...and Les is speaking on Wednesday in Dallas ... then maybe Les isn't our next coach? Maybe Hoke will be at the team meeting today?

2 years 18 weeks ago I guess this guy is tweeting it:

http://twitter.com/mikerothstein

2 years 18 weeks ago Where is Tm's tweet?

I don't see it on his twitter page - http://twitter.com/tomvh - but then again I have no idea how to use twitter.

2 years 18 weeks ago Good one

if anything, "Out of respect" = "To get a bigger contract at LSU"

2 years 18 weeks ago Here's what I don't get:

How often can that plane fly to Baton Rouge, and why does Les say the meeting hasn't happened yet? WTF else is the plane doing there, repeatedly?

I wish we could get someone to just take video of who gets on and off the plane.

2 years 18 weeks ago To elaborate ...

The difference betweeh JH and RR's third year is the JH came on stong at the end of the year, whereas RR kept getting blown out. For instance, in week 9, Stanford beat the #8 Ducks by 9 in a shoot out, and followed that up by travelling to #8 USC and abolustely annihilating them (the "What's YOUR deal" game).

Michigan, on the other hand finished the season by going 2-6.

For comparison, JH's losses were by 7, 10, 10, 6, and 4. RR's losses were by 17, 10, 10, 20, 30, and 38.

2 years 19 weeks ago Bad feeling

I have a bad feeling about this. Something tells me Harbaugh isn't coming. Maybe we can get Lloyd Carr back on board?

2 years 19 weeks ago Brian -

Any indication whether we would retain RR if JH is unavailabe?

2 years 19 weeks ago Fuzzy memory

The February '06 posts look really familiar, though I can't be sure. I don't really remember being here for the Alomo fiasco, but I was definitely here for all the fluff about Hart running on the golf course every morning.

What's amazing is how far the internet has come. I remember blacking out during the Alomo bowl, and it took me like 3-5 days to actually see Ecker's no-pitch. Now it's probably on YouTube in half a day, max.

2 years 20 weeks ago hilarious

But why does it look like the guy in the gray suit should have been tressel?

2 years 21 weeks ago Well...

By giving up a ton of T.O.P., isn't it inherent that the defense will give up more yards and points if theyre on the field longer?

2 years 21 weeks ago I've been wondering that for a while now ...

My wish list includes someone analyzing whether the way we run our offense puts the defense in unfavorable positions. That includes putting the defense out there without rest, increasing the number of plays the defense must defend, and potentially even a field position analysis (I'm wondering if our offense is so feast-or-famine that we often don't move the ball before punting?).

I'm not saying that it's necessarily the case, but I'm very curious to know if some of our gaudy offensive numbers are coming at the cost of the defense, or if the defense just sucks completely indepently of the offense.

2 years 24 weeks ago I wouldn't worry about it

First of all, I think DRob has stated that he wants to play QB in the NFL, right? If that's true, he might as well get acquainted with some pro style offense in college. Second of all, I don't think Harbaugh would instantly name Tate the starter. For at least next season, I imagine that JH would rotate a little bit, perhaps even running some wild cat or whatever. Denard would still get his share of snaps, but probably less than this year.

Finally, I think Denard is a competitor who loves Michigan. I imagine he'd be "All in for Harbaugh" and stick around to compete at the QB position (any may even compete at other positions).

I have no doubts that Denard is the type of kid who is All In for Michigan regardless of the coach or the offense, but if he's not All In, then ... well... we only talk about kids who play for Michigan!

2 years 24 weeks ago Funny how quick opinions change

I remember just a few weeks ago, after we beat ILL in OT, a lot of posters were proclaiming that RichRod had turned the corner. Apparently that win over ILL was a milestone which would cure all problems. Sucks that the season ended as it did, now that ILL win is basically worfthless.

2 years 24 weeks ago I'm so incredibly confused

How can we be raking up all these yards, and yet we're consistently playing with a two score deficit? WTF? You'd think that all these yards would turn into points sooner or later, WTF?

2 years 27 weeks ago One of two possiblities:

Either Oregon v. Auburn; or Boise St. vs. a "traditional power" such as LSU.

I don't really want to see Boise St. v. Oregon for some reason. I feel like both BSU and OU are kind of "surprise under dogs" and don't want to see them face off against each other.

2 years 28 weeks ago "consistency" is pretty abstract

I see all the yards we've been putting up, but at the same time our offense has not been trading punches with opponents, but rather we're constantly picking up yards in deficit situations.

Also, for someone who a few extra minutes - I'd like to see the starting field position that we're giving our opponents. With all the stats that have been thrown around in recent threads, I think that one has been left out.

2 years 30 weeks ago It's rare, but this might be a good case

I think there's a good chance that Tate is better than Devin next year. If that turns out to be true, then it would be pretty natural for Devin to red shirt. Rarely do we need a 3rd QB.

2 years 30 weeks ago I dont get it

You admit that Denard struggled, and that Tate is the better passer. If you think there's no QB controversy, can you at least present a reason for why Denard is clearly the starter?

BTW, how hurt is Denard, anyways?

2 years 31 weeks ago Have you seen the future?

Hemingway will have a long gain to beat Iowa? Sweet!!!

2 years 31 weeks ago More importantly ...

I think we ought to focus on the team rather than Denard's Heisman campaign. Maybe cooling off with the Heisman talk takes some pressure off of him, the team, and the coaching staff.

2 years 31 weeks ago This offense gets the QB a lot of yards

At the cost of the RBs - although we don't really have good RBs at the moment. But a lot of the QB's yards in our offense would be distributed to RBs in any other offense. The QB running and throwing those short screens are good for the QBs stats, but the overall offense comes out to the same yardage

2 years 31 weeks ago Right on

Denard domianted for the first five games. That gives him so leeway when he starts to struggle; however, at some point Tate and Devin need to rotate in. It's not like a permanent benching of Denard or anything, just seeing who else can play. And by the way, Tate is a decent QB, too.

My opinion is simply that we have a QB *rotation* and I'd like to see it rotate a little quicker if one of them struggles. Denard was obviously the shit in the first five games, but yesterday he was forced to throw and his throws just weren't very good. Why shouldn't the other two get a few drives?

2 years 31 weeks ago The sky isnt falling

first of all, its not really comforting to know that Vince Young didn't beat OU until his senior year (I though VY didn't stick around for his senior year, anyways?). By analogy, that means we have two more losses coming to OSU. Just cuz VY did it doesn't make it acceptable.

Secondly, and more importantly, I dont think anyone is saying that Denard sucks or that he'll never amount to anything. The point, IMO, is simply that Tate (or Devin) should get a chance to rotate in when Denard is struggling.

2 years 31 weeks ago Other considerations ...

Part of the problem with putting Tate in might be that we're not getting any production from our RBs. Because we're not getting anything out of our RBs, it may be necessary to keep Denard back there.

Also, I'm affraid that the coaches might be too addicted to Denard's long run potential. Even if Denard sucks for 3 drives, there's still a chance he breaks loose on the 4th. That's not true of most other QBs - if they're off, then they're off.

In short, though, I really want to see some QB rotation if Denard struggles again. Not saying he should be permanently benched, just asking for some rotation. I'd like to know what Tate (and Devin, to an extent) can do. Maybe they suck anyways.

2 years 31 weeks ago I'm gonna have to disagree

RichRod talks about having three QBs that he can win with. Last year we also talked about the change of pace that Tate/Denard bring.

Frankly I think that Denard earned a long leash, but I think it's pretty short now. Obviously I don't see what happens in practice, but I have to imaging that Tate/Devin get a chance to show their stuff if Denard struggles again next week. Tate's no slouch, and Devin is apparently our 2nd string QB, so maybe he should get some snaps too.

2 years 31 weeks ago Tough situation

I am pretty torn on whether Denard or Tate should have been playing towards the end of todays game.

In favor of Denard: he's explosive enough to take any play to the house, and he's earned the right to be on the field.

In favor of Tate: Denard's passing was pretty inaccurate (even the completions weren't the prettiest). Also, we constantly talk about having a stable of three QBs that we can win with ... so if one of them is having a bad day, why not dip into the stable?

Ultimately it's tough to pull Denard after what he's done the first 5 weeks. It will be interesting to see what happens if he struggles early against Iowa, though. Under RichRod's concept of letting the best guy play, I think Tate and Devin ought to be given a chance next week.

2 years 33 weeks ago ^ This

I am pretty sure Tate is the second best QB on the team (who knows how he compares to Denard, it might be closer than we think). The reason Devin got those snaps was a combination of Devin being good, and Tate learning a lesson. If Tate hadn't gotten in the dog house, then I'd bet Tate and Denard would have split the snaps, and Devin would have taken the red shirt.

2 years 34 weeks ago Money

That screen to Stonum with under 2 min left in the first half was a money call. Not a difficult play by any means, but timed perfectly. We caught UMass un a blitz and Stonum got us 6, one play after they scored on us.

2 years 35 weeks ago While we're on the topic of special teams ...

It wouldn't hurt Hagerup to make more solid contact on punts, either.

Fortunately ND's punter was pretty bad this week, too. Sloppy kicking by both teams, IMO.

2 years 35 weeks ago This should be good ...

So Tate will be twittering from the side lines? Or from the huddle?

2 years 35 weeks ago No way

100% chance Denard gets the start tomorrow. I can't imagine a scenario in which RichRod rewards Denard's performance against UCONN by letting Tate start. I know we're all about the team and working hard in practice etc, but WTF kind of message would that send to Denard?

If his secret is related to playing time, then it's probably something along the lines of a few series in the 2Q or something ...

2 years 36 weeks ago Not a "shot" at all

Kelly's point is you need to stop the run, keep the passes in front of you, and avoid falling asleep or you'll get one put over your head.

Uhh...that's exactly what we did vs. UConn, isn't it? In fact, I don't think we even tried to go deep, did we?

This is just Kelly saying it like it is.

2 years 36 weeks ago I think Tate probably meant

I think Tate probably meant what you suggested - that he's out of the lineup. I also agree with you that Tate is better than DG, and that RichRod had something in mind by keeping Tate out of the game.

However, I think that RichRod had in mind is to teach Tate a lesson. See, for example, Mike Forcier's comment about disciplinary action.

I don't think RichRod is keeping Tate out in order to mess with ND. Quite frankly, we aren't good enough to be messing around like that. I think the idea of "hiding" stuff is overblown, and RichRod would probably agree: if we play with focus and max effort, then we'll probably win. No need to play mind games.

2 years 36 weeks ago My interpretation

I think RichRod put Gardner in today to prove a point to Tate. I think today is the critical date for Tate - they took his wings off his helmet, they called him out, and they let the freshman play over him. Tate either responds or he doesn't, and I think we'll find out soon.

2 years 37 weeks ago Yeah

It's called a hot dog vendor

2 years 38 weeks ago No, he's not smarter

In fact, I think Delany kind of got duped here. He had big dreams of adding Texas, which undoubtedly would have earned the Big Ten a lot more money than Nebraska. Then Texas decided to stay put, and Delany was stuck with Nebraska.

As a result of our championship game, we'll probably not be getting two BCS teams like we have in the past. And we have to deal with headaches like what to do about UM v. OSU.

Just so we could add Nebraska?

2 years 39 weeks ago Can't go to OSU

I'm pretty sure players can't get a scholarship after transferring within the conference. So the options are1) paying his own way at OSU; or 2) playing at WVU.

Going to WVU was a pretty logical decision - no backhanded stab at RichRod to see here.

2 years 42 weeks ago How do you get on that list?

Is that the award for choking in crunchtime?

2 years 42 weeks ago Its obvious

BG wants to keep working out with Barwis rather than showing up at the Eagles puny workout facility.

2 years 42 weeks ago CVS v. Walgreens

Everytime I walk into a CVS there's a long line and only one slow, lazy checker working. Betwene asking for people's CVS cards and then printing off that long ass receipt, it takes forever to get through the line.

Walgreens, on the other hand, always has more checkers than customers, so it's really fast.

2 years 42 weeks ago Lucky man

How many you got?

2 years 42 weeks ago To the OP's credit ...

Being a four star upperclassman does, in fact, give him an advantage. We've already discussed numerous times that star rankings tend to be indicative, and being an upperclassman is presumably also an advantage from a physical+experience standpoint.

2 years 43 weeks ago Fair enough ...

I realize Dez Bryant's situation is different, but I was kinda lazy about elaborating.

But my point remains: the kid got suspended by the NCAA, but he had built enough of a reputation to get himself drafted. So by analogy, if his situation were similar to that of Reggie Bush, then he would have made out like a bandit while his school was left holding the bag.

2 years 43 weeks ago The thing is ...

A lot of these players can get away with accepting gifts. By the time they get caught they are either 1) out of college (like Bush); or 2) so high profile that they'll get drafted anyways (Dez Bryant).

The agents don't get punished, either.

So really its their university that's left holding the bag. And the burden is on the school to monitor these kids closely, which often isn't even possible.

What we need is for the NFL to do the NCAA a favor and issue suspensions to agent and players who violate NCAA rules. Until then, NCAA will always have its share of issues.

2 years 43 weeks ago Saban:

<blockquote>

"I don't think it's anything but greed that's creating it right now on behalf of the agents," Saban said in a rant at the Southeastern Conference media days. "The agents that do this -- and I hate to say this, but how are they any better than a pimp?

"I have no respect for people who do that to young people. None. How would you feel if they did it to your child?" Saban said. </blockquote>

For someone with a reputation as a rule bender, Nick is really taking the lead in speaking out against agents. The obvious joke: he's probably trying to distance himself.

EDIT - What am I missing with that blockquote???

2 years 43 weeks ago Why wasn't I invited?

As much as I dislike Nick Saban, I give him props for being the first (to my knowledge) to suggest banning agents from the NFL for conduct that violates NCAA rules.

That place is way over the top, but I'm turning green!

2 years 43 weeks ago Agree. No conspiracy here.

Back when this was breaking news, a few people suggested that the fact that Demar was not admitted to UM is evidence of discord within the University. As if there were a conspiracy to undercut RichRod by the admissions department.

Instead, I think you're right on the money. He may be a good kid, but simply not college material. I don't know, but the fact that FSU wouldn't take him, and UL seems to be having issues, I think that suggests he may have legitimate academic issues.

2 years 43 weeks ago Cuff him to his belt?

2 years 44 weeks ago That ND game was a hell of a rush

We were complete underdogs, and the ND offense was touted as incredibly explosive. I'll admit, I was pretty scared the whole game, even when we were up by two scores. Somewhere in the 4Q our lead started to grow, and ND started to look defeated. That's when the fear started to subside. What a great feeling that was.

In fact, I actually woke up around 8AM that day, hung over as shit, thinking "Shit, I'm late for the game." Then I saw the time and went back to sleep. Dreamed about the game for about 3 hours before stumbling out to the living room to watch.

Good times.

2 years 44 weeks ago Also, to the OP -

How about just skipping your math class the first semester and adding an easier elective? Then you and jump into Math 116 the following semester, at a time where you 1) feel more comfortable with college; and 2) are not taking the chem class?

2 years 44 weeks ago That kicked my ass

In my opinion, going from an AP high school credit to the next level in college is really difficult. I AP'd out of Calc 1 or 2 (what does the BC AP test get you again? I forget) and also out of Physics.

Well, I decided to "ease" my way into college by repeating the calc class that I AP'd out of. And quite frankly, the college class was signigicantly tougher than the AP class. I cruised through hih school, but got about 50% on my first calc exam and had to drop the class.

Oddly enough, the next semester I decided I was ready for multi-variable calc (since I had the AP credit, after all) and I dominated that class.

The lesson: figure out which professors are looking to weed students out, and avoid them like the plague.

Now, on the phyisics from, its a different story with a similar result. There, I decided to use my AP credit and jump right into the next physics class. I also got my ass thoroughly kicked in that class, and ended with a C+.

My personal opinion is that many high school students aren't prepared for the academic challenge of college. Like formerlyanonymous said above, I cruised through high school, too, collected tons of AP credits, and expected to roll through college. Didn't happen.

2 years 45 weeks ago Is it confirmed ...

2 years 45 weeks ago I assume ...

2 years 46 weeks ago One thing the softer helmets can't protect though:

They can't protect against change in direction. Say the RB is running straight, and gets drilled by Brandon Graham crashing down the line. The brain is going straight forward, but the head turns away. This causes the brain to "twist" inside the skull. I have no medical training, but I'm pretty sure that the twisting force is not a good thing to have.

2 years 46 weeks ago Can I edit myself into the videos?

So let's say hypothetically that I wanted to put streaming steaming video on my iPod ... how would I do that?

2 years 46 weeks ago Ha

What kind of video do you think I'm trying to put on my iPod??

Especially after I said I only need the audio part ;-)

2 years 46 weeks ago Uhh

I don't think you can generalize like that and say its not a loss because the Tampa police force isn't the best. The focus should be on these two, and it doesn't appear that they did anything to "deserve" being shot (to the extent that its even possible to "deserve" that).

2 years 46 weeks ago I think you're viewing this wrong

They weren't killed over some "petty crap." They were killed because the killer was a piece of $hit. His reasoning and "justification" don't matter; the guy was a piece of crap regardless.

2 years 46 weeks ago Hmm

The article does not mention what their operations were. Its one thing to have a spy in the pentagon, but quite another to have a spy hanging out at the beach and the mall, as another poster put it.

I get the sense these spies were in the latter category, though we'll have to see how the story develops.

2 years 46 weeks ago ND grads are the only ones who wear their ring

It never fails. If a guy is wearing his class ring, 99% of the time he also has an ND diploma hanging in his office.

At least, that's been my experience. Anyone else notice that too?

2 years 47 weeks ago hmm

I swear someone has posted that exact same story on here before. Anyone remember that?

2 years 48 weeks ago TMZ

TMZ picked up a lot of credibility with the Tiger Woods scandal. Personally I'm not huge on celebrity gossip, but they beat the rest of the media to the scoop on that one.

2 years 48 weeks ago Kinda of deflecting your question, but ...

I'm hoping the B12 can keep it together. I'm not a fan of these mega-conferences, so I'd like to see the B12 add TCU and/or Utah and keep playing.

2 years 48 weeks ago Weird

I could have sworn the NCAA disallowed that practice. I know Nebraska was doing it during their Big 8 days, and that the Big 12 wasn't cool with it ... but I thought that Nebraska's beef with the B12 was moot in light of the fact that the NCAA disallowed it soon thereafter.

2 years 51 weeks ago Depends

It depends on the size of the scholarship and the ranking of the two schools. Personally I was accepted to schools in the 30-60 range. I did not attend the top school I was admitted to, instead I accepted a substantial scholarship to attend a lower school. I would make the same choice again, without a doubt.

If I had gotten accepted to a top 15 school, then the choice would have been harder.

3 years 6 days ago Disagree

If you're gonna envy OSU for one of their players, at least admit that you wanted Terrelle Pryor. Let's face it - a QB is much more valuable than a single OL. Especially considering our OL has gelled pretty decently in the past two years, whereas we've struggled with QB play (aside from Tate's first five games).

3 years 6 days ago As much as I hate him ...

...I think I must admit that subtracting Terrelle from OSU, and adding him to UM, probably would have caused a pretty big shift in outcomes. In fact, probably bigger than any other recruit.

3 years 6 days ago Meh

On the flip side, Mario lighted him up like a Christmas tree in 2005...we probably wouldn't have won that game without Justin King (playing for PSU)

3 years 4 weeks ago Sweet!!

I'm glad to see Brian taking an open point of view. Brian is correct that "inside information" is very tough to protect. I'm glad to see him accepting that for what it is and allowing us to post (relatively) freely.

Too many sites try to restrict content, and it's frustrating and ultimately futile. So yeah, Kudos to Brian for taking a view that makes much more sense, yet isn't followed nearly enough.

3 years 4 weeks ago Fair enough

But it didn't take me six years to see that Amaker wasn't working out.

3 years 4 weeks ago I'm hopeful, too

It's just that if 2010 doesn't go so well, then I'll be out of reasons to think that 2011, 2012, or anything beyond that will go particularly well either.

3 years 4 weeks ago ^This

You and the poster above nailed it. If we suck in 2010, what make people think we'll magically get better in 2011?

Sorry. I for one am not buying this magical turned around somewhere in the future. Fans will always pin their hopes on the future, but at some point we need to see results.

I said above that I think Brandon will be lenient with RichRod. If I had to put a number on it, I'd say 7 wins total (bowl included); or 6 wins - with a few big wins and a few close losses.

If we go 5-7 again, then I don't really care to see what kind of magic we can conjure up in 2011.

3 years 4 weeks ago lol

Not sure if you're serious, but this is pretty funny.

3 years 4 weeks ago Depressing

When will we ever beat OSU again? I'm getting tired of waiting.

3 years 4 weeks ago Agreed.

Brandon personally has every incentive to roll the dice on RichRod in 2011, unless RichRod finds a way to mess up beyond comprehension. If I were a new AD, I'd much rather roll the dice on a returning coach with an experienced team, rather than going out and shaking things up again.

If Brandon fires RichRod and messes up the succession, he'd end his career as AD before he even really got started.

3 years 4 weeks ago Maybe I'm to drunk to understand the logic

But if we suck in 2010, are you sure that it doesn't require advanced football knowledge to see how good we'll be in 2011?

3 years 4 weeks ago I think Brandon will be very lenient with the 2010 season

Just because I don't think he wants to start his tenure off by creating even more dismay. Brandon can afford to give RichRod another season, even if we blow again in 2010.

You're right that there will be outside pressure, but I think Brandon will side with RichRod unless the 2010 is an absolute disaster.

3 years 4 weeks ago Umm ...

... maybe Harbaugh?

Not advocating for it, but not ruling it out, either. And, FWIW, I think that a coach like Harbaugh could do fine with RichRod's personnel. He's more pro-style than spread option, but I think Harbaugh would make out just fine with a QB like Forcier.

3 years 4 weeks ago Ironic ...

You're probably one of the few who believe the fluff article. Most of us around here have seen that movie recently.

3 years 5 weeks ago Preferred shares

Would you mind helping me understand some of the subtleties of preferred shares? I understand most of the concepts from financial classes I've taken, but I have a hard time taking a prospectus and translating it into terms I can understand.

3 years 5 weeks ago Damn good timing

I was just thinking about how we need a thread on $$$. Literally.

Anyways, what makes people think bank stocks are undervalued? To me, it seems like there's still uncertainty and mistrust as to their holdings, so a bit of a discount might be justified. Also, we'll probably be seeing rate hikes in the coming months.

But I love discussing this stuff.

Anyone here good with preferred shares?

3 years 5 weeks ago Tate!

I'm surprised nobody is curious about him. The implication with all this talk about Denard and Devin is the Tate hasn't really progressed that much. Is he still injured? Is he really as unspectacular as message board posters make him out to be?

Because the potential that Tate showed last year was pretty incredible. I'm sure Denard has learned some new things, and I'm sure that Devin is quite the physical specimen. What I can't figure out is how Tate went from being one of the top freshmen in the country to "spring practice afterthought" with a lot of people.

3 years 6 weeks ago I'm not gonna spend the

I'm not gonna spend the afternoon bashing Vick. It's just my opinion that people are more in awe of him because of his natural ability.

What's your opinion of Greg McElroy? He got a good end result, but you probably not in awe of him because he doesn't run around and make exciting plays.

3 years 6 weeks ago I have a tough time remembering Vick at VaTech

But like I said in my post above, plenty of QBs put together stats like his every year.

Point taken though, I wouldn't mind being in the title game. You're right about that part.

3 years 6 weeks ago How'd that game end?

I'm not denying that he's explosive athlete - he obviously is.

Lets compare Vick's 2nd (and last) college season to Tate Forcier's first season:

Vick:
Passing: 9 TDs, 7 INT, 1439 Yards
Rushing: 9 TDs, 636 Yards
Total: 18 TDs,2075 Yards

Forcier:
Passing: 13 TDs, 10 INT 2050 Yards
Rushing: 3 TDs, 240 yards
Total: 2290 Yards, 16 TDs

So yeah, I don't think Vick stands out particularly. Plenty of QBs put together better stats than his.

3 years 6 weeks ago Vick is overrated

I can see why you bring him into the conversation ... but Vick hasn't really accomplished that much in his football career (no offense to him). He's certainly not the "game changer" you seem to imply.

Manning and Brady are bigger "game changers" than Vick, but I suspect I can see why you didn't mention them.

(Sorry Dark Blue, that wasn't directed at you specifically)

3 years 6 weeks ago Pretty sure the iPhone does the same thing

There's no real difference as they are both the internet. Some sites just pick up your IP as a cellular device and automatically forward you to the mobile version.

Ok, that's what I suspected. So theoretically the cell phone should be able to run the full version of any website, right? That makes sense, since it can run the full version of MGoBlog, but not more mainstream sites like ESPN, MLB.com, etc.

Thanks.

3 years 6 weeks ago Yup

Put it this way ... I don't think the search firm is raking in the big dough (unless it's just a one man operation run from someone's basement).

3 years 6 weeks ago Pretty cheap if you ask me

$125k is nothing when you consider the importance of the position being filled. If this had been a CEO search, it probably would have run quite a bit higher.

Given the amount and quality of work required by the search firm, I think this is a good price to pay.

3 years 6 weeks ago How about Terrelle Pryor?

I find it interesting that TP isn't brought into this discussion more often, considering the similarities to Denard. A lot of people seem to think TP will never "get it" as a passer ... and he's entering his third year as OSU's main QB. Is there a reason to treat the two differently?

3 years 6 weeks ago "Thousands of hours of practice?"

Careful, there. Surely you mean 20 hours per week, on the dot.

3 years 7 weeks ago I think you're right

Its not even possible to transfer within the B10 and get a scholarship at the second school, IIRC.

3 years 7 weeks ago Office stuff + gym gear = A lot

You're gonna need a pretty big backpack for that, especially if your gym gear includes an extra pair of shoes.

In my opinion, you're gonna need to look for something bigger and higher quality than that backpack you linked. I've had good experiences with North Face products, so I would recommend one of their bigger backpacks to you.

Also, consider something that has loops to which you can tie your shoes. You'll save tons of space by tying your shoes to the bag, rather than putting them in the bag.

By the way, props to you for taking your bike to work. Sounds like a hassle, but you're doing a good thing!

3 years 7 weeks ago So where does this leave the iPhone?

I've been pretty fascinated with the loyalty that Apple has cultivated among its customers. Until recently, the iPhone was obviously *the* phone to have.

Now, I'm getting the impression that there are a number of respectable alternatives, some which might even be superior.

What's everyone else think?

3 years 7 weeks ago Its not cheap but ...

I'm saving a years worth of cable and instead I go to the bars for 4-5 football games. Sure, the individual bar trip will be a little expensive, but not compared to the annual cost of cable.

More importantly, though, I'd probably be going to the bars sooner or later anyways!

3 years 7 weeks ago For me...

I don't want to pay for it because, as I said above, I already get internet from my building. So the cable alone would cost like $50, which just isn't worth it for me. The only time I wish I had cable is when UM is playing on cable. And, like I said, most of the time I can watch those games with friends or at a bar.

3 years 7 weeks ago Yeah, its frustrating

Personally, I don't have fun watching games that I stream online. And it's tough to justify paying for cable right now, because my building (which has kind of high rent to start with) has a open internet point in the lobby, and I can access it from my apartment. And I think that Comcast is really expensive if you don't get at least two of their services (internet/phone/cable).

My building has a big lobby and a gym, both of which get ESPN. Unfortunately, BTN has been shaky in my building (I think they keep switching to the cheapest package).

So for BTN games, I'll hit up my friend's apartment or Buffalo Wild Wings.

3 years 7 weeks ago I've been doing it for 3 years now

I still get ABC, obviously, so that helps. For the other games, I have to hit up bars or my friends' places.

3 years 8 weeks ago 40 time as a smoke screen

I think you're right on this one. If his college resume had been highly impressive, then the 40 time wouldn't be the end all be all.

Just look at Manningham - he was clearly 1st round talent, with issues of inconsistency and a poor 40 time (and the pot issue, to boot). Yet, he "only" fell to the third round. I think that's evidence that scouts are willing to look past the 40 time.

Now, in Manningham's case the issue appeared to be poor technique on the 40. Donovan might just be a slower dude, and maybe he can't improve on his 40 time.

However, his bench was relatively poor, too, by NFL standards.

Combine his 40 time, his bench, and his body of work in college, and I think scouts just aren't blown away. I'm sure some team will pick him up around round 4-5 on the premise that they can coach him up; however, I'm part of the crowd that thinks he could have earned himself some better money by being "NFL ready" prior to entering the draft.

3 years 9 weeks ago Didn't KoB leave before em0?

And when and why did em0 formally leave? Last I remember, he melted down (as usual) but we could never stop him from coming back under a new handle. Why hasn't he returned?

Or maybe he just improved his style and is still among us??

But yeah, I'd take his Rivals/Scout updates even if it meant I had to ignore his depth charts.

3 years 9 weeks ago I remember it differently

Obviously the OSU game is blocked from memory, but I remember being kinda disappointed about the obvious deep routes that we had Denard run. I thought OSU just gave him a ten yard cushion and then ran with him easily?

3 years 9 weeks ago How does he have a redshirt available

I thought you could only use your red shirt during your freshman year, or in the event of injury? I guess you can red shirt any year that you feel like?

3 years 10 weeks ago I like this quote

So far I trust that Brandon will make the right choice. He seems to understand the importance of backing RichRod, but is capable of balancing it with the possibility that RichRod is not the future coach of Michigan.

It sounds like Brandon is dynamic and sophisticated enough to put aside any "magic number" for next year and make an intelligent decision about the future of Michigan football.

3 years 10 weeks ago That's the million dollar question ...

1) What happens if RichRod stays; and 2) what are the alternatives.

Firing RichRod wouldn't be a punishment for his recent failures, but rather an assumption that he won't be successful at Michigan in the future.

3 years 10 weeks ago Yup

We look at it as "twice in a year can't be good." Mean while, Ben's camp is trying to spin it as "see, this kind of stuff happens all the time, no big deal. They're all fake."

3 years 10 weeks ago I'm in your boat, Slappie

Not sure if we should congratulate the original poster, or ask him what took so long?

I removed that link the day they broke their stupid story. Any visits to their site since then are solely the result of posters around here making their typical "OMG EVERYBODY LOOK WHAT THE FREEP WROTE NOW" posts.

Usually I avoid them, but sometimes there will be five threads like that in a row, which leads me to become grouchy.

3 years 11 weeks ago Trading?

I wonder if the Google connection is fast enough for trading. Right now, a ton of firms pay to have their servers "co-located" with those at the stock exchanges, though that practice is controversial and may get banned (eventually)

3 years 11 weeks ago Typical buckeye

No Wolverine fan would watch a bald, angry, middle aged man who throws around perfectly good office furniture to the sound effect of crashing airplanes and ringing cash registers.

3 years 11 weeks ago Difference between NFL and NBA

The nice thing about the NFL is that most 18, 19 and 20 year olds are just not physically able to hang with a 25-30 year old athlete. So the NFL has a bit of a natural barrier to entry, unlike the NBA. That makes NCAA football a lot better, IMO.

3 years 11 weeks ago You read my mind

I was going to say the exact same thing - juniors can just work out with their S&C coaches. Only problem is the NFL draft deadline is in January, which takes away about two months of training for the combine.

3 years 11 weeks ago ^^ This

I don't think this is controversial at all. Between the geographic and economic requirements to participate in these winter sports, I think its clear that "white" people will be in the majority of participants.

Moreover, a lot of these sports require culture/know-how: Even if an African country dedicated tons of money to bobsledding, who would coach them?

3 years 11 weeks ago Agree that 7 wins is a very reasonable standard

We already won 5 last year, and it's RichRod's third year. If he can't make the jump to 7 wins by 2010, then I'd be very skeptical that he's a good fit at Michigan for the long run. Sure, the team might suddenly become incredible, but if the third year is unsuccessful, then I think the chances of a magic turnaround down the road diminish.

6 wins, on the other hand, would put our administration in a real tough position. It's clear that a coaching chance (Harbaugh?) could mean another 2 years of transition. But like I said above, if 2010 ends the way 2009 did, then perhaps the transition will be worth it in the long run.

3 years 11 weeks ago It's not just about the 2008 record, though

RichRod was also working on other things in 2008, like installing the new playbook, Barwisizing the players, and recruiting (for both the 2008 and 2009 classes).

So while it's true that the 3-8 record should probably just be forgotten about, that doesn't mean that we weren't using that year to build for the future.

3 years 11 weeks ago I understand that

But that doesn't really answer why question of where in the complaint it says that the violation was for punishment for missing class? By my reading, the complaint is broad enough that it could encompass anything from punishment for missing class to a straight up mandatory work out.

Is there anything that supports the idea that the violation was specifically "punishment for missing class?" I'm sure there is, but I haven't seen it.

3 years 11 weeks ago Maybe?

I read the complaint once, and I didn't see it mentioned the way you describe. Yet, Brian and others on this blog seem to accept it as a fact that one violation was for punishing players who missed class.

Simply put, I'm not sure what's fact and fiction in this case. Surely a resident expert can clear it up?

3 years 11 weeks ago It's not just the grants/TV time etc, though

I think the real fear for parents is that the alleged conduct is true and will continue, and their kid will end up spending way more time on football than in the classroom.

3 years 12 weeks ago Dont make me...

Don't make me bust out MS Paint and show you the "unedited" version of what was going on.

3 years 12 weeks ago Not necessarily, actually

I once read a long documentary on the "pap," and it made me feel a *little* less hate/anger towards them.

Specifically, a lot of them are poor (immigrants) who can't really find jobs. However, if they catch a killer shot with their camera, that could be a year's worth of salary.

Now, I also don't think it's really cool to exploit other people's lives to make your living. Also, I'm sure tons of them are assholes, and I really REALLY hate it when they drive recklessly and endanger other people.

Nonetheless, if you could earn your year's salary just by taking a picture that's visible from the open street (I'm gonna assume that's what happened, for the sake of argument) then I would have a tough time blaming you.

3 years 12 weeks ago Privacy law always confuses me

But I'm pretty sure that anything you can see from outside the premise is fair game.

3 years 12 weeks ago I'm gonna have to ask...

So they expected you to fly from Atlanta to Jackson and then back to Atlanta?

For those who understand airline pricing - Why is the Chicago/LA flight so expensive compared to Chicago/DC? Is it purely because of the longer distance?

3 years 12 weeks ago uhh

Maybe its you that he's flying to meet then? Instead, the two of you should just conduct your meeting on MGoBlog?

3 years 12 weeks ago I don't get it ...

They're still giving you that same leg, they just give it to you for cheaper if you accept a second leg in addition to it?? How does that make sense? At the end of the day, they're still giving up a seat on a flight out of Detroit or Chicago or Atlanta...?

3 years 12 weeks ago Gotcha

That's kinda my reading of it, too.

What I don't get are Brian's suggestion that one incident involved a QC staff getting involved in academics (it's be nice, because then we could play the "we care about school, so sue us") - instead, it sounds like they were running the informal practices.

Also, Brian or Tim suggested there was an issue with whether stretching counts as playing time - that doesn't appear in the allegation, either?

3 years 12 weeks ago Can your phone load this page?

This link purports to solve the problem:

http://www.xp-vista.com/spyware-removal/pcantispyware-pc-antispyware-rem...

EDIT - there are some other links out there, too. Not sure which one will work best, you might just have to try a google search.

Now that I see screen shots of that damn thing, I believe I've removed it off of my sisters computer before. If this is the same thing then its one of the easier trojans to remove. MBAM worked like a charm.

3 years 12 weeks ago You present good counter points

I'm kind of confused though why we're using only 7 teams. And within those 7 teams, the sample size at each school tends to be quite small, too - like Utah's 1/6 split. I have to imagine that could have very easily been a 2/5 or whatever, which would have quickly changed the percentage.

Also, if you look at the "BCS crashers total," you'll notice there are only 50 samples for the 3*, compares to 194 samples for the 2*. If one or two of those 3*s had somehow managed to squeeze into the draft, then the percentages favor the 3*s again.

I understand that data collection is a bitch, but shouldn't we sample some of the upper echelon programs, too? Out of the three "better" programs, I'd say the results for Iowa and Oregon are surprising, but VaTech's data clearly favors 3*s.

3 years 12 weeks ago Thanks for two examples

Roundtree, however, quite likely falls under possession receiver, as evidence by the fact that he got run down...

3 years 12 weeks ago So...uhhh...what're you drinking tonight?

**slowly walking away from MichMike before lightning strikes him**

3 years 12 weeks ago Good post, but Manningham ...

...was a blazer. In every sense of the word.

3 years 12 weeks ago How about the Saints

I'm not sure where to draw the line between "possession receiver" and "home run threat," but I don't think the Saints receivers were particularly explosive?

3 years 12 weeks ago We did alright on offense in 2009

And I don't think we had a real home run threat. Hemmingway and Stomun showed shades of being deep threats, but I can't recall any "home runs" that they hit.

Would you call Odoms a home run threat as a receiver? A lot of his catches come underneath the coverage - but he has the speed to potentially beat them ... is that really any different, though, than a RB taking one to the house?

But yeah, I think teams can do quite fine with "just possession receivers." It helps to have the deep route to spread the field, but not all QBs can hit the deep route, anyways ... and possession receivers can get deep occasionally, too (see Greg Mathews).

3 years 12 weeks ago Looks solid to me

I'm not sure why the posters below are so down on him. He looks like a solid fit at outside receiver.

How many more receivers can we take, though?

3 years 12 weeks ago The OP was going for best pure athleticism

I tend to agree that it's probably Denard, on account of his speed and obviously muscular build.

After that, it's tough because the definition of athleticism can be quite broad. I imagine Mike Martin ranks pretty high.

Also, Kelvin Grady plays two big time sports ... but he isn't that great at either. Should have a better feel for him in a year or two.

3 years 12 weeks ago Back pain

You might want to reassess your form if dead lifts are hurting your back. I don't think they're supposed to hurt.

I always think of it as "shaving my legs with the bar" (not that I know what that would be like) until I get the bar up to my knees. At that point, the movement shifts to the hips.

On the way down, think of it as if you're trying to close a door with your ass.

3 years 12 weeks ago By the way ...

Does anyone know how much a cross fit membership costs?

3 years 12 weeks ago I'm not sure how to explain it

My gym has two machines that I'd call "fixed squat"

The first is similar to a standing calf raise machine, except you do squats on it.

The second is basically an upside down leg press, except you use it like a squat machine. I'm sure you know what I mean, I just can't really describe it.

3 years 12 weeks ago I was doing regular squats

Now I'll use a fixed squat machine.

I also will jump on a stability pad and squat while holding 40 lbs dumbbells, or alternatively do 1 legged squats without any weights.

3 years 12 weeks ago Deadlifts

I cut them out of my routine a few years ago because I didn't trust myself to get the form right. But then squats started to hurt my knees and recently I started up the dead lift again. It's possibly my favorite lift now.

3 years 12 weeks ago Variable resistance is key

Bands offer the VR, but weights obviously don't. I actually have a vision of starting a company that manufactures weights. The concept is this - You get bars (either bench/squat size, or dumbbell size) and hook chains up to the bars, as opposed to loading plates on them.

Each chain has different weight links/lengths, which therefore provide variable resistance.

The only problem is I don't have the first idea of where to start to make this happen. Anyone wanna work together?

3 years 12 weeks ago BJJ?

Brazilian Ji Jitsu? By the way, what gyms are you looking at that offer martial arts?

3 years 12 weeks ago Whats the cost of CrossFit?

I've been curious about it for a while now. My staple is working out lifting daily and mixing in the 10 minute runs and/or 30 minute swims.

I occasionally get into a flag football or basketball game, though it's tougher than to find games than it was in undergrad.

Also, I've been entertaining some form of martial arts classes, though I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

3 years 12 weeks ago Not a fan anymore

I think its too tough to separate him golf from his failed attempt to script the perfect image for himself. I'd have a lot more respect for him if he hadn't tried to pull the quick one on the public.

3 years 13 weeks ago GTA?

Do you have to crash your Escalade in the first level? Bang porn stars in the second level?

3 years 13 weeks ago How about doing what MLB does with the All-Star game?

Each conference gets equal invites, and the conference that scores more points gets the first game of the finals?

3 years 13 weeks ago Probably poor transcription

I thought the same, but I noticed the questions have errors in them, too. I assume this was just poorly transcribed. But I'm just glad to hear some football talk this time of year!

3 years 13 weeks ago Interesting: GERG on the accuracy of recruiting services

I wonder if he just said this to make Scout happy. Interesting, nonetheless:

Question: How much of that recruiting service stuff do you think is just bunk; where it is just guys who maybe no more qualified than anyone else besides you at this table?

Greg Robinson: “I do not know that. I do not know. I like to think that they find ways. What they do is that they do a lot of talking to people too and it is really a process of elimination in some ways. I think that they do a pretty good job. They provide a lot of information to a lot of people. Not all of it is gospel.”

3 years 14 weeks ago Congrats

on the wedding.

3 years 14 weeks ago Any scholarship counts

You get 85 scholarship athletes, regardless of where that scholarship comes from. Could be a football scholarship, the Braylon Edwards scholarship, or an academic scholarship (I think).

3 years 14 weeks ago My bad

I was just curious if he did anything in addition to finding that lineman (not including those RichRod support letters, which I know about)
