is the one day of the year when it's okay to wear green...unless it's a forest green...that's fine year round, but I really don't care for Kelly green. I do have a St. Patrick's Day Michigan cap, but it kind of looks like a Notre Dame cap, MSU cap, and Michigan cap were combined together at the factory. :-( |

Kinesiology, Sport Management class of 2008. Worked at Cost Plus from 2003-2006, and at Moe's Sport Shop from 2006-2008. | 3 years 29 weeks ago | Really??!!?? |
I know several UM alum out here who vow to never again go to Camp Randall because of the fans. Not sure if they were students or not, but one guy's 3 year old daughter got a plastic cup of beer thrown at her in the lot because she was wearing a Michigan jersey. And then there's the usual verbal abuse and cursing. |
| 3 years 29 weeks ago | I agree with BrayBray |
The way we started, and the way we finished. Plus the fact that our D stepped up in the final game, but our offense sputtered. |
| 3 years 29 weeks ago | I live in Wisconsin |
Badger fans can be assholes, especially after that game 2 Saturday's ago. They hate Michigan, unless we're playing OSU...then half of them want us to win, and the other half wants both teams to kill each other. Thankfully, I'm in Milwaukee. If I was in Madison my car would probably get vandalized. But on the bright side, at least I don't live in Ohio. I would rather be stuck in between Charlie Weiss and Mark Mangino on a flight to Australia. |
| 3 years 29 weeks ago | The Big House |
The Big House, Fielding H.Yost and the Building of Michigan Stadium by Robert M. Soderstrom is a good one. |
| 3 years 30 weeks ago | This guy has some balls! |
That's the greatest thing I've seen so far today!!! |
| 3 years 30 weeks ago | Definitely not Martz |
Rich Rod wouldn't ever come close to Mike Martz even if he's at his worst and Martz at his best. Martz made it to a Super Bowl...with a team he inhereited from Dick Vermeil. Since then he's really done nothing. Rich didn't inherit much from Lloyd Carr. Loved Lloyd, but this is a fact. Rich has a proven record of success and deserves time to build this team back up. |
| 3 years 30 weeks ago | Thanks... |
Hadn't seen that before. Maybe people can post if their city isn't included on that list. Good info though! |
| 3 years 30 weeks ago | I'm sure he'll find something... |
I don't like hearing of this happen to people, especially in this economic climate...but hopefully he can learn from this and will be more objective the next time. |
| 3 years 30 weeks ago | Here's another...I love OSU jokes! |
Coaches Jim Tressel and Lloyd Carr are walking down the beach talking about the rivalry between Ohio State and Michigan. As they are walking, Lloyd trips over something in the sand. Upon closer inspection it turns out to be a genie’s lamp. “Who disturbs me?” asked the genie. Jim and Lloyd both say they did. “You will each get one wish,” said the genie. Jim offers to go first. “I want an impenetrable wall built around the entire state of Ohio so that none of those stupid Michiganders can ever get in. I want it as far down into the ground as it is high and I want it to be completely sealed in so that we can finally have our peace!” The genie grants the wish to Jim and his is instantly whisked away to his new paradise. The genie now tells Lloyd he’ll grant him one wish. Lloyd says, “Fill it with water.” |

Just don't do it! Don't read his articles anymore. I stopped over a month ago, and already I'm sleeping better. |
| 3 years 30 weeks ago | I love this one... |
How many Ohio State football players does it take to change a lightbulb? Just one, but he gets $1000 and 3 credits for doing it. |
| 3 years 30 weeks ago | I've always liked... |
calling them the f*ckeyes. |
| 3 years 30 weeks ago | 399 |
The fact that shops in Michigan used to carry t-shirts saying, "Tis better to have failed out of Michigan than to have graduated from Ohio State." And it took years for OSU to realize that they approved the use of their intellectual property for those shirts. |
| 3 years 30 weeks ago | Tate has done more than most people thought he would. |
I heard from so many people before the season started that Tate was going to be another Steve Threat. I knew he'd be so much better, but how fantastic it's been to throw his successes back in those people's faces. Sure he's made mistakes, but who doesn't? And it's only his first season. BrayBray1 you are so right! Notre Dame was the highlight of the year. Plus...the kid can run, he can pass...and he can punt?!?!?!?! Go Blue! |
| 3 years 30 weeks ago | Win: |
Win: Drink HEAVILY with a big smile on my face. Loss: Drink HEAVILY while crying my eyes out, crawling into the fetal position, and sucking my thumb. Oh yeah, and winning will warrant mass text messages being sent out to everyone who gave me shit after the Wisconsin game. If a loss, I'll turn my phone off because I won't want to hear it from a bunch of assholes. |
| 3 years 30 weeks ago | The closest thing to a trick play... |
was when Tate punted. Maybe we'll see something Saturday? I'd love for us to make it in the headlines for something positive again. |

| 3 years 31 weeks ago | No matter what... |
No matter what Matt Millen talks about (even things I may usually tend to agree with,) I find it impossible to take him seriously. He's arguably the worst GM in the history of sports. |
| 3 years 31 weeks ago | Glad he's okay! |
Crazy accident. Your friend is very lucky! |
| 3 years 31 weeks ago | Apparently my sarcasm wasn't obvious... |
I don't think he's a douchebag. I was messing around. I used that word since it was used in "Hey douchebag, this is Tate Forcier and I'm not transferring." Thought we could all joke on here. |

He'd probably blame his hurt foot on the coaching staff making him run sprints from the line. |
| 3 years 34 weeks ago | You should get them pretty soon. |
Some UM alum out here in Wisconsin hadn't received their tickets either and called to check. They were told the tickets would be sent out late October-first week in November because they're waiting on Wisconsin to send them...figures. |
| 3 years 34 weeks ago | Blimpy's good, but |
it's better on Sunday after you've drank too much. The grease soaks up all that excess alcohol. Plus, if you want to hang out for a while, there's a lack of space. |
| 3 years 34 weeks ago | A couple recommendations |
Grizzly Peak Brewing Company on Washington is pretty good, but Ashley's on State Street is one of the better places to go to especially if you rarely get out there. It's Ann Arbor's "premier multi tap." There are over 100 selections of beer on draft, and even more by the bottle...good burgers, plus it's right on central campus across from Angel Hall. |

| 3 years 34 weeks ago | Impressive record (not in a good way) |
Look at it this way...there are thousands of people who watched those games on TV and probably believe we lost because they weren't actually there. Maybe it's their fault? |
| 3 years 34 weeks ago | Good article |
Our defense definintely needs the added intensity that Webb describes Murphy as having...and I do like that 3.25 GPA. It seems like he has his head on right. |

| 3 years 34 weeks ago | Mixers |
Mixers can give employers the chance to meet their candidates in a more casual atmosphere, and attempt to get to know them on a more personal level. This can be especially useful for sales positions as employers can make more informed decisions on how this person, regardless of credentials, will interact with their customers both existing and prospective. Personality, the ability to engage in conversation, and the ability to connect with others are vital to any sales force. These types of events can be very useful in the hiring process since many people know how to give a great interview, know what to say, and how to answer your typical cliche questions...what are your best qualities, what's you biggest weakness, etc. You should be a little careful though. Some companies will offer alcoholic beverages and you don't want to be the person who gets hammered and acts a fool. Good luck though! |
| 3 years 34 weeks ago | Posey's quote: |
