As I think Orb should win but they are expecting his odds to be 3/5 come post time.  I bet on a bunch of exactas with Orb involved in the Kentucky Derby but didn't hit.  If I were forced to bet, I'd probably mess around with a few exactas or trifectas with Orb winning and boxing the place and show.  I like Itsmyluckyday as well for some reason too.  Goldencents is sort of a speed horse, correct?  So he could do well i this shorter distance but it sounds like the trainer is messing around with his diet and training all this week so he could either do real well or be a flop.

Bentley does have an obnoxious voice lol.  Almost worse than Seans.

I do think Sean has all-around good sports knowledge and is fairly objective about college sports even for being a Sparty fan.  My problem is him spending all this time trying to constantly prove that he isn't a Sparty slappy and try to imitate these people he claims that call him a Sparty slappy.  Who exactly is saying this stuff about you, Sean?  Just kind of annoying sometimes, although I like that he sticks on topic of sports topics I'm usually pretty interested in hearing about.  I'm not going to lie in that I think "The Skip" is pretty damn funny even though it can get repetative.  I have to laugh whenever he talks about ciggarates.  The Lou Holtz stuff is funny maybe once a year before the Michigan-ND game but otherwise it gets real old.  They tried to do Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne last month and it was just awful and completely unfunny.

The Huge...the guy is obviously a grade-A blowhard.  I think he does have a good radio voice, though, and is a good interviewer.  His rants about the Lions sucking are hilarious and I love it when he rips on OSU.  He just needs to grow up a bit.  When someone calls him a bad name, he gives them more incentive for someone to do it again by talking about it on the air for an hour.

I always forget their names, but I really like the "sub" guy on The Huge Show that subs in when Bill is on vacation.  I think he was on today actually.  He's probably my favorite radio voice locally.

Then there's Bently...that guy is a grade-A goofball.  He strikes me as a guy struck in the 1980s.  He is always talking about Dr B and his age-clinic every damn minute it seems like.  That being all said, he can be quite entertaining and I like his co-host.

Huge is kind of an ass-clown but he is actually a really good interviewer.

As for the interview, very good stuff and Drake and his dad did real well in the interview.  As much as I am not an Izzo fan, it sounds like he handled it like a class-act when Drake decommitted from MSU and hopes to remain as a mentor in his life.  As for Dantonio, you can tell Drake didn't want to talk about him and I bet he told the Huge before hand to keep the questions on him recruiting Drake to a bare minimal because it's obvious Dantonio didn't do much recruiting of him in the first place.

A little tidbit from the interview, it sounds like Michigan giving him a video presenting off all the great WR's wearing number 1 at Michigan really impressed Drake. Coming from someone who has seen quite a bit of his high school games the last couple of years, I am confident Drake could easily be the next WR to wear the number 1 jersey by the time he's a junior.

I was at some try-outs run by him, and I had friends that also played for him.  While Kevin Sr was nuts, he was great at making one a better basketball player.  Sadly, usually he focused on how to make an ass out of himself at AAU tourneys.  I remember watching one game where he told the refs his team hadn't warmed up long enough, and so the refs started the game without them on the court while the opposing team played again themselves (with a lot of 5 second calls of course).  When Grady's team finally came out, I think they were down by 30 points before they came back and won.

He is quite vocal at sporting events (more so basketball) but he isn't THAT bad as his reputation is.  A lot of people love to rip on Drake's high school football team because they win and get accused of a lot of BS, and so Mr Harris is unfairly part of focus of that.

Anyways, he's a huge UM fan which is great.  I got a feeling he will be reading this thread real soon when he hears there's a thread about him.

That sad thing to that rediculous rant is all the replies were almost just as pathetic.  I saw only one MSU fan call the OP out on that.  All their posts are so pathetic there.  It's all "scummy, scum, hoke is fat, walmy, walmarters, f*ck scUM"" language.

1.  I've had the pleasure of watching Harris play football the last 2 seasons, and believe me, he is the real deal.  He has the full package and will make an immediate impact.  His initial acceleration that gets is absolutely insane.  He has a great HS coaching staff that will make sure he's ready once he gets to Michigan

2.  Not that he was probably considering MSU too seriously anyways, but Dantonio really blew this.  He barely was talking to Drake, and it was actually Izzo that finally got Drake to get in contact with Dantonio last week

I've watched numerous of Drake's HS games, and the kid's initial acceleration that he gets is unreal.  He will be the deep threat that Michigan has been looking for for a long time.

For Mad Men tonight:  Mathew Weiner obviously is very good at not giving spoilers away, but he's talked this off-season about how he doesn't want to repeat any story lines but to keep in mind that history tends to repeat itself, which means humans tend to repeat the same mistakes.  A lot of viewers will be watching to see how Megan's acting career has affected her marriage with Don.  Will it lead to her getting real famous and leaving Don.  That is the speculation.

Going a little off-topic here but does anyone get the sense when watching MSU games, that the Izzone has the biggest bunch of d-bags that are in their student section.  They all try so hard to impress the camera and think they're all rock-stars or something.  It made me root hard for IU last night.  Ya just don't get that when watching the Maize Rage.  I realize I am incredibly biased.

I am so sick of posts like BrownJuggernauts getting downvoted when they are true.  We DO need to start beating OSU to consistantly beat them in recruiting and have bragging rights.  once in the last 9 years isn't going to cut it I hate to say it.

-Beating two out of three rivals each year (with an emphasis on OSU being the most important / I realize we are done playing ND for a bit coming up)

-Winning the big ten title

-Competing for a National Title on a consistant basis (probably the biggest area Michigan has failed in past decades although I still think Michigan got screwed a few times in the 1970s and would have easily won more than 1 NC since 1958 if there was a 4-team playoff)

I disagree with some of the Tiger fans out there constantly thinking we need to get rid of/trade the 23 year old.  He has some inconsistency issues and may never be that ace like we had initially hoped for, but he has great  stuff and great poise.  I guess there's not much more to add to my argument as it's just an opinion that I think we should hang onto Porcello and use him as the number 5 man in the rotation.

You can start Smyly in the bullpen, but on of the SPs will naturally get hurt and miss some starts, and Smyly can fill in for him.

All I did is select the option where there can be only 1 entry per user, so people don't create more than one entry on a username and both entries be in the group (assuming that that's what the setting means).  There isn't any cap/maximum for group members that I see on the settings.  I just changed the setting, so that there can be 2 entries per username and it is an "unlocked" group..  Try it now and see if that makes a difference.

I also am going on the forum there, and see if anyone knows why this is.

Speaking of West Michigan Junior WRs, the coaches are apparently still after MSU WR commit, Drake Harris.  He is also being recruited heavily by Saban and somewhat by Kiffin and Stoops.  A lot may depend how well his basketball season goes this winter.

I heard a rumor that Michigan coaches are recruiting Drake Harris really hard now, similar to Kiffin, Stoops, and Saban.  I expect him to realize within the next month that football should be his main sport, his ad will push him to commit to UM, and he'll eventually pull the trigger.

I reading on the Michigan Recruiting HQ from someone that goes to his school and knows Ty says that Ty Issac is looking for a school that will offer him cash under the table, aka Pay to Play.  For some reason he thinks Michigan may budge this time.  I highly doubt they will, though.  The focus should be on Green.

I was watching it and OSU was number 2 going into that game.  Am I not mistaken that we ruined their National Title hopes that season?  People always talk about Michigan wrecking OSU's National Title hopes in 1993, 1995, and 1996, but how come nobody ever also says 2003?

Tressel can come back to be honored for the 10 year anniversary of successfully having guard dogs sniff out the UofM team bus before the game.

I tend to think MLB is only sport in which ESPN has excellent journalists and reporters.  Buster Onley is a very talented writer and I believe Tim Kurkjian is a great reporter.  Kruk is a solid analyst as well.

I still do enjoy ESPN radio, though.  Much more appealing in the weekdays day-time than ESPN TV at least.

The week does go by slowly.  Thankfully the Game, similar to last year, falls on Thanksgiving Weekend as I think once I get out work on Wednesday, the Game will come pretty quickly.
