Coaches' timeouts are worse. Basketball teams should get one, full stop.

|21 hours 38 min ago||If you can't see holes on a team that went 7-9||
and 4-12 in the last 2 years then I don't know what to tell you.
|21 hours 41 min ago||Please no||
I don't want them drafting a WR in the first round let alone trading up for one. Just a terrible, terrible idea.
|21 hours 58 min ago||We really can't lose no matter what Nik decides||
Obviously it would be great if he stayed but I think he is likely gone and I wouldn't blame him one iota. The silver lining is that he will be another 1st round pick that JB and staff have developed which is huge in recruiting these days.
|1 day 3 hours ago||Awesome. That will be the first Pistons action I've seen||
in 5 years. And probably the last I will see for another 5 years.
|2 days 6 sec ago||Sparty LOLz||
I don't care about BTT seeding. It's just more fun to watch Sparty bball lose.
Plus. Most OSU fans don't care that much about BBall while Sparty dies for it
|2 days 2 min ago||That is an outstanding observation||
Well done sir
|3 days 3 hours ago||Huge loss by Kansas||
WVU is not good. That has to take #1 seed away from the Jayhawks and could put them in danger of falling to a 3 seed if they don't show in their tourney.
|3 days 5 hours ago||Energy is also the guy who thought before the B1G champ||
game that OSU should have been in the NC over a one loss SEC champ becuase the SEC is overrated and the B1G was just as good as the other BCS conferences.
Like I said, many of the posters and mods over there think that it is 1997 and football has not changed a lick. Differing opinions are wholly unwelcome.
|3 days 6 hours ago||I thought he was the BYU QB that beat Michigan||
in the Holiday Bowl and won an NC.
(btw- I do know that was Robbie)
|3 days 6 hours ago||Sam Webb last week said we currently have 15||
scholly openings. Maybe he is not counting guys like Glasgow and you are? Either way, I bet we end up with about 18 total openings as I think we may see more attrition than in previous years with the depth chart finally filling up.
|3 days 20 hours ago||Maize man and CoachBt are okay but Eroc is a total ahole||
And he has a bunch of minion posters who are all brainwashed Carr supporters who think it is still 1997.
|5 days 20 hours ago||They are ranked 4th||
because they are named Duke. Plain and simple.
|5 days 20 hours ago||Sorry but there is a reason why Owners hire GM's||
and that is to make good decisions. Illitch forced Dombrowski into signing Fielder which turned out to be a terrible contract because Mr. I wanted a world series champ before he died. Its his money so I guess he is entitled, but DD knew it was a bad contract so he dumped it as soon as he could. This is another panic move.
|5 days 21 hours ago||I never said he was the wing best prospect||
I said he was a "top prospect" which he was. We traded him and a 2nd or 3rd round pick for an impening free agent center that will at best get us to a first round playoff loss. Horrible
|5 days 21 hours ago||Name one good trade or veteran fee agent move Holland has||
made since Hossa? Holland rode the coatails of Develano and Scotty to all those cups. Since then cap has been instituted he has been revealed as being a one trick pony and having no balls in the new cap enviroment.
|5 days 21 hours ago||I Totally agree||
I was never that impressed with Fisher's abilities as an X's and O's coach. I am sure many will defend him but the Fab 5 had amazing talent but never won a 'ship
|6 days 32 min ago||Not really||
Why not bring the kid up next year? We finally lose a lot of veteran dead weight this off season so why not promote one of of our best prospects? Just another terrible trade by Kenny
|6 days 35 min ago||Absolutely HORRIBLE trade||
This team is going nowhere in the playoffs and they just traded a top prospect and draft pick for a rental. Holland is the most overrated GM in sports
|1 week 3 days ago||That was my point though maybe I didn't state it clearly enough||
The main point is that 2015 recruits are in no way affected by scholarship availability at this point.
|1 week 4 days ago||Fucking Rutgers||
|1 week 4 days ago||Nice list- few comments||
1) Paskorsz is likely not on the team anymore,
2) I think Jones will get a lot of looks at the slot, as might Hayes (in other words I think there is no way Canteen and Norfleet are our only slots)
3) I think Dawson and LLT are equal at backup LT subject to what happens this spring and LTT's recovery
4) Why do you see Dymonte and Delano as even at the other safety spot? It sure seems like it is Thomas's postion to lose
|1 week 4 days ago||Nope that's not it||
As Sam Webb discussed earlier this week on WTKA, you can oversign by 1 in basketball so we could still take at least 1 recruit right now and then we would have to get back down to 13 schollys by next November (which will not be a problem, trust me). So there is absolutely no bar to getting at least 1 commit in the early signing period.
A lot can and will change with this roster between now and next November.
|1 week 4 days ago||Risk? Maybe, but what about reward||
Mitch is coming off back surgery and not having played in months. Who knows how able he will even be to work out for teams in May and June. With those major question marks it is very likely he will not get a first round grade. At that point, returning another season ballances the injury risk with a huge potential reward of playing himself into the lottery.
Plus, this draft is supposed to be loaded. 2015, not so much.
|1 week 4 days ago||Horford will be a 5th year senior and likely||
back next year, barring something unforseen.
|1 week 4 days ago||I too was hoping to see more immediate recruiting results||
from our on court success last year. Everyone said that 2015 would be the year that paid off, and it still may, but we sure haven't seen that yet. Beyond that, I really don't see anything to worry about. Assuming Mitch and Glenn come back next year we will be stacked.
If the worst happens 2 or 3 of the Big 3 go then hopefully they get drafted in the first round which only helps us on the recruiting trail in the future.
In other words, don't fret. We'd all love to get more 5 star recruits but things are trending up either way.
|1 week 4 days ago||Having it as "part of your repetoire"||
is different from doing it in practice every play. The former is nice and all, but the latter better prepares both your offense and defense even if you don't run tempo in the games much.
|1 week 5 days ago||I would have never guess that you read the WSJ||
you so don't fit the mold.
|1 week 5 days ago||Papa John is a total ass clown||
who makes shittier pizza than Dominos.
|1 week 5 days ago||I'm hoping the B1G Tourney bracket stays the way it is||
with Michigan playing the IU/Northwestern Winner, then likely OSU in semi-finals.
|1 week 5 days ago||I dont understand them passing on Nicholson just like||
I don't get them passing on Tommy Schutt, Levenberry (the second time around), Pocic and a few other talented guys that reportedly had high interest in us that we spurned early on because we were "set" at the position only to change course and offer lesser rated kids at the same position later in the process.
Obviously, there are things that go on behind the scenes that we aren't aware of and cirucmstances change so I won't beat the coaches up over it. This staff gets a B+/A- so far in recruiting, so they are entitled to a few misses.
