ND plays Wake Forest on NBC at 3:30. Not sure what that means for us though, if anything. Other ranked Big Ten games that day are OSU-Minn, PSU-Rutgers.
Looking at this and the opponents of the unbeatens, it’s amazing that Georgia is ranked #1. They haven’t beaten anyone better than we have, AND the fancy ranking have them lower than a bunch of teams who have had better opponents. I think they should be ranked #7.
Definitely seems like comotio cordis. From timeline the broadcasters gave, it seems they started cpr within 3-4 minutes of his collapse, which is quite good. Survival has been improving form comotio cordis in recent decades, with 58% in the late 2000s which is about 10x as high as other causes of sudden cardiac arrest. Early cpr and defibrillation are associated with improved outcomes, which seems like he received.
I agree. Can’t find any info of whether he was defibrillated. Seems he should have a decently good chance of survival if that is the case since he had access to a defibrillator within minutes
In fairness to Kelly, Georgia players didn’t know what to do either. One and only one Georgia player slowly reached to grab the ball, hesitated to look for guidance from his sideline then picked it up and ran it back for a TD. How could special teams players not know the rules?! I couldn’t imagine that happening on UM special teams.
I’m just disappointed that the Duluth Trading Cure Bowl is not actually taking place in Duluth, MN. I would love to watch UTSA try to play in Duluth in December. I hear the winds off of Lake Superior are refreshing that time of year.

One could say that players deserved to make money, but those were the rules, and the rest of us were playing by them, so osu got a huge advantage in recruiting. Osu had no right to cfp. Now with nil, the field will be leveled and osu has no chance of hanging with us in the future if we get the 5*s AND we have the superior coaching.
Alex totally drew up the successful gameplan in his FFF summary. Crazy to think that not one of those tv experts on ESPN or fox pregame gave the same analysis as Alex did. Great job, Alex
He only had 24 attempts so it is hard to put a lot on that 50% completion. 2 of his incompletions were batted down. One was an arm punt on 3rd and long. He also had one where he was flushed out to the right sideline and got rid of it while going out of bounds. And he drew 2 PIs which he doesn’t get credit for in the stats. I think he did great.

I think it was 5 around 2001: Harbaugh, Grbac, Collins, Griese, and Brady. Hard to imagine we ever had more than that. At the time, it seemed it would last forever and you would always have multiple NFL teams to root for just based on a UM player involved in every play.
