12 owner league. Top 6 make playoffs for the real money. Bottom 6 have playoffs for their buy in back. Keeps people that are slow out the gate or bad injury year from throwing in the towel after week 5.
Also, $2 per add transaction. Every time you add a player via FA or trade it's $2. We have people that make 25 transactions a year. Adds up for a 12 man league.
Reduce the number of bench spots. Prevents owners from stockpiling a position and forces owners to make more moves.

There's often quirks in a league that the system you're using doesn't process the way your league intends it to be processed. That's responsibility of commish to correct those quirks.
I wouldn't call it dirty. No hurt in trying. But it's not right and your commish should drop them back to FA.

If you use PayPal then you should sign up for mrrebates.com. You'll get 3% cash back at Amazon and other percentages at other sites. If you are like me and purchase a fair amount online, it adds up to a few dollars every month or so.
I'm not affiliated with mrrebates and I'm not looking for referals. Just an easy tip for those that like to save pennies.

Not at all. It's like somebody saying Michigan University sucks. If you're going to have a negative opinion about anything ..... know a little about it before you start going public with your opinion. Or else just look like an ass.

I see a 6' nothing, average NBA athlete, defensive liability point guard. If I was a GM, I'm passing on that every day.
Love Trey and I think he can stay in the league for a decent run. I just don't want him on the team I'm rooting for.

you don't want Trey landing here. I love Trey and hope he has a long NBA career but he has limited NBA talent. I see him as a reliable backup for an average team.

That didn't have the impact they hoped.
Turkey I believe dropped a zero or three awhile back and I think that helped.

You don't have to name that kid soon as it pops out. Take a few hours. Take a couple days. You don't have to have a name when you go home. Wait a couple days and see if a name fits your baby.
|13 weeks 1 day ago||Your kids are special to you!||
Not everyone else. And that's all they need. There are 6.2 billion people in the world. Your unique name you came up with is not unique.
I say lean traditional but for sure don't go with something that the poor kid is going to have to explain 10,000 times in their life. The unique "cool" name might not seem so cool when you're kid is 25 and explaining for the 10,000th time in a job interview where the name came from.
Not to mention, there is a negative stereotype for parents that name their kids weird things and some of us will be thinking it when we meet your kid and their unusual name.

or you no clue what you're talking about. Fred Jackson's recruiting credentials alone could land him a job!
Josh Jackson is a junior at Saline. My guess is Freddie doesn't take a job until Josh is at Michigan.

Ok .... I'm going on the record that if he get's Loeffler here .... I'm losing it!
The two guys I've always thought would be back are Soup and Loeffler.
I love all the staff but those are guys that you always want to see come back because they were great recruiters. And Michigan Men! Soup! and Loeffler!
Wow! Soup is back!!! That's bigger than any other hire for me!

to ignore it. A story or two before he got here, not alarming. A couple people saying same things his freshmen year, a bit of a concern. Friend drives cab in A2. I mention Morris and first thing he says, "kids a drunk. i pick him up all the time wasted". Ok, this isn't coincidence. This is a problem!
I don't expect to ever see Sugar Shane starting at Michigan. Unfortunate.

That guy has no contact with reality. Anything he says should be questioned.
|28 weeks 2 days ago||Coaches can't complain when it's a two way street||
If a DIV 1 scholarship was guaranteed for 5 years (assuming redshirt - 4 if not) then I could go along with not allowing a grad transfer. But that's obviously not the case. Coaches can't have their cake and eat it too. Many coaches take advantage of not having to extend an eligible 5th year scholarship. The other side of that is a kid being able to transfer for that 5th year.
I don't know anything about this coach but I doubt he'd have an issue with a kid that was not extended a 5th year, transfering and playing right away.
|28 weeks 5 days ago||Including Brady||
And Belichick won't treat Tom any different when that day comes.
Belichick is a prick. There's no doubt about it. But he's a hell of a coach. Not falling in love with players is great quality for an NFL coach.
|28 weeks 5 days ago||It doesn't make any sense.||
Why 3 years? Why not 4? Why not 2?
You'd have more kids taking the chance straight out of high school because now it's not just one year they have to play college. Gauranteed that players like Anthony Davis, Durant, or Melo would go straight from high school. You'd put kids just below that level in a very difficult situation. They either take the jump to the NBA right out of high school or they commit to wait 3 years. 3 years seems like a long time to an 18 year old.
The good thing I can say about the current rule is that it at least gets the kid into college. Maybe he decides then that he wants to stay longer than a year.
What if the rule was changed so that a kid could be draft eligible but if he's not drafted then could return to school? If he was drafted then he has to go. The NBA teams have to know that they are getting what they draft. But what if kid could declare himself eligible for draft and could even have a special agreement with an agent. Takes no compensation or "gifts" or "loans". Can work out for NBA teams. If he's picked then he goes. If he is not then he has option to sign free agest contract or return to school.
|28 weeks 5 days ago||I don't think that works either.||
NCAA bball/NBA relationship is very different than NCAA baseball/MLB relationship. My guess would be NCAA bball does not want to follow the NCAA baseball model.
I can't really say I buy into the premise that the NCAA and NBA game would be better by requiring kids to stay. I don't see any evidence to support this idea and I don't see what mandatory 3 years would accomplish.
|28 weeks 5 days ago||It's very easy to talk about what should happen when it's not||
you or your money. Try telling guys like Lebron, Kobe, Garnett, Howard, etc that they should have played 3 years in college. You think Lebron playing at OSU for 3 years would have made NCAA basketball better? Sorry, but not a chance. Anthony Davis should have played two more years at Kentucky? Not a chance.
It's convenient to look at the Stauskas' of the world and say he should have stayed. But the other side of that coin is a Lebron or Kobe. Those examples had no business playing college and should have went straight to the league.
