Does anyone know if the cutoff for requesting the Championship game tickets is already passed? My father in law is really bad at paying attention to these deadlines and I missed the Orange Bowl cutoff
So, did you read the actual quote or not? He used a double-negative, which means they are trying to be explosive. Ridiculous to jump on this without watching the interview and seeing what he actually said.
Haven't played around with Youtube TV yet but I've been very happy with Hulu. They have a Live TV option that lets you get a bunch of different sports channels - that also comes with unlimited users, so I share the account with a few friends and end up paying $15/month for BTN/ESPN/ABC/CBS/Fox Sports, etc.
Couldn't Brooks be a potential to be asked to transfer if Moe stays? Seems like it would have to be Brooks, Ibi, or Davis. IMO Davis would not willingly transfer - he's a UM lifer, which just leaves Brooks and Ibi. Both have some good upside but we can only be at 13 scholarships when next season starts.
The only chance this team has of getting passed the Sweet 16 (probably even the second round) is if Simmons plays a bigger role and Matthews realizes his offensive limitations.
Simmons has the ability to run a great pick and roll with Wagner with both able to step out and hit three's, while that is a huge limiting factor to Z's game. PG's win games in the tournament and, with a few exceptions, Simpson isn't going to lead the team to victory. Obviously haven't seen Simmons grab the reins yet but last night's game was a big step forward and he's one of the few people on the team that has a ceiling we haven't really seen yet (based on last year). I liked seeing him get into the game so quickly but he barely played in the second half after, imo, his best performance of the year.
Matthews is a great defender and rebounder but him putting up 18 shots a game will lead to a quick exit come tourney time. I was at the game last night and just shook my head every time he pulled up because they weren't going to go in. Beilein isn't used to having a SF that can't shoot but needs to adapt to that quickly to end this year.
Those two things happen and this team could put the fear of God into a lot of teams in a few weeks.
Called BWW (2 in AA, 1 in Ypsi), Arena, and Banfields. None of them are showing it. The "Establishment" fee that the PPV charges to the bars has basically led all of them to stop showing fights.
Looks like golf course parking is open for the game. It is weather permitting though and, given the forecast for the week, it will probably be too wet for them to allow it.
