|5 days 4 hours ago||I don't||
I don't consider a pull up 3 in transition by Rahk on an off shooting night as a good look or Wagner continuing to shoot when it was clear he was way off. Irvin, Walton, and Robinson hit their fair share but for the most part they were reasonably guarded. The only Oregon blunders I saw leading to wide open 3s were in the first half for Wilson. I'd say our 3 pt %, which was neither terrible nor great, reflected the quality of the opportunities.
Typically, you will find that when Michigan shoots an abnormal amount of 3s they are bombing some team out of the gym, or they are struggling to get easy 2s. The latter was true last night. You take what the defense gives you, but they didn't give us much.

I think you're greatly overestimating the number wide open 3s. And the "half-ass" press, which is neither new nor half-assed and is typically referred to as a 3/4 court press proved pretty effective because it did throw Michigan's rhythm off. How many times did we not get into our offense until about 10 on the shot clock? That's the whole point of a 3/4 court press.
Oregon, for the most part, also took away the easy Wagner/Wilson off-the-dribble drives with their small line up. Bell won his battles when Wilson was hitting 3s. I think Oregon deserves credit for leading to the, "it just feels off" vibe. Sure we can play better offensively, but how many easy shots did Oregon miss too?
It was a 50/50 match up and we just got the wrong side of the coin.

Anyone pretending to not have had concerns about the program in January is full of shit. The way this season has played out is like no other in Michigan hoops history since I've been alive at least.

Was thinking something similar but you could get raw materials like oak or other hardwoods and also aluminum sheet and just drop the balls from a good distance and see how high they bounce. Maybe too simple IDK.

It's worth mentioning that Horton had an awesome freshman year, B10 frosh of the year, and that team would have likely been an NCAA tourney team were it not for the ban.

With the state of the B10, I think we need 10 conference wins, and I'm certainly not banking on 6 more. OSU is a must win.

I think it's a bit like turnover margin in football. Any trends wash out at a large scale, but it's not entirely random, i.e., Alabama. Michigan, for as long as Beilein has been coach, has sucked at closing out shooters. Kenpom numbers support this too.

PSVR has already outsold the Vive and Rift combined. The Vive and Rift are more powerful, but at least in the next couple years, what's really going to separate different sets are games. The amount of people flocking toward PSVR would lead me to think it's going to have the most support from developers.
If you already have a powerful PC gaming rig, then sure, Vive or Rift would probably be a good move. Otherwise, I'd say PSVR even if you don't have a PS4. A PS4 Pro + PSVR is still way way cheaper than a PC gaming rig + Rift/Vive.

Still, when they really needed a win to avoid going winless in conference play, they did beat Rutgers. With that win they tied Purdue for 1-8 in conference. So you can see why D'anthony didn't want to shake up the staff.

I think next year you can pencil in 22ish starters who don't appear to be much of a drop off from this year. The bigger concern appears to be depth. We are going to be mighty thin at most position groups. If we stay healthy though we should still have a goot shot at a B10 championship and the playoffs catching MSU and OSU at home.

|17 weeks 21 hours ago||You can||
You can make a case for Wisconsin. They won @ Iowa and played us close in the big house. They lost to OSU in OT. And they would have neutral-ish field wins over LSU and PSU. That coupled with a conference championship, and I think the committee will definitely bump Wisconsin up. PSU I don't know. Clearly their resume would be worse but I don't trust the committee.
