|1 hour 45 min ago||Laughable.||
Not when you just re-signed your veteran long snapper. You're not going to carry two long snappers. It was a wasted pick. He will be a Practice Squad guy at best.
|2 hours 57 min ago||The long snapper.||
I just do not get that pick. I don't really understand the whole draft a punter from Sam Houston State type moves. I want guys in the draft who are going to play more than five snaps per game. Get them as UDFA's, not 6th and 7th round picks.
|3 hours 43 min ago||Lol.||
Stop it. That would have made too much sense.
|8 hours 43 min ago||Henry.||
He should have stayed.
|1 day 10 hours ago||Henne.||
He was the 57th overall pick. And went to a less than ideal situation with the "rebuilding since Marino" Dolphins.
|1 day 10 hours ago||Kind of crazy.||
At the end of 2015 draft, I remember tweets saying the Big Ten's 1st Round QB woes would end as Hackenburg, Cook, and Jones were all destined for the first round. How things have changed in such a short time.
|2 days 6 hours ago||Exactly.||
Really not a bad idea for them to have their own division. I went to a Conference USA school and one argument was always, "What are we playing for really -- the New Orleans Bowl?" I would definitely love to watch a Boise State v. Air Force, Navy v. Toledo G5 Playoff. That would be fun.
It would also give life to the fan bases who believe their teams have a shot for a national championship down the stretch. There are good enough programs to make it competitive year in and year out.

I am here for the Harbaugh Posbang! Leadership with an Enthusiam Unknown To Mankind!!!!!! The NCAA did not like the idea of the Department of Justice sniffing around.
|2 days 7 hours ago||Should be a lesson.||
I hate when traditional FCS powers jump to a conference like the MAC or Sun-Belt. I am one of those guys that really enjoys FCS football and their playoff format. Schools like Appalachian State and UMass who jump divisions usually end up hurting themselves and hurting the quality of FCS football as well.
The only time I could see it making sense is if you are jumping to a conference that makes sense: P5 or the American.
|2 days 10 hours ago||Awful.||
That name sucks. But he can name it whatever he would like I suppose if it helps the city of Detroit.
|2 days 12 hours ago||No.||
He only had to deal with Bobby Bowden, Rich Rodriguez's West Virginia, Dabo Sweeney, and Frank Beamer every year. I mean it's not like Maryland is a waste-land for football. They've been bad recently. They've been good recently. Sounds familiar, huh?
|3 days 5 hours ago||I don't get it.||
What is with all the Maryland angst? If Ralph Friedgen can go 75-50 at Maryland, I see little reason why a dynamic recruiter like Durkin cannot build off that when they are going to play Rutgers, Indiana, and Purdue OR Illinois every year.
Are they good right now? No. Do I think Maryland is going to be pretty good in the future? Yes, I do. You guys can find this in five years if I am wrong, but I am guessing that Maryland will be a perennial 8-5 type team in the future is Durkin stays there.
|3 days 5 hours ago||Yeah, he did.||
His answer was, "Well, Brady Hoke missed on Da'Shawn Hand, Malik McDowell, and passed on Tommy Schutt which forced me to play Brady Pallante and Matt Godin down the stretch." That should be all he needed to say. We did not have the horses to line up with Ohio State after Mone and Glasgow went down.
|3 days 5 hours ago||That's too bad.||
Because when Harbaugh leaves in 2024 and Durkin is 81-36 at Maryland I am sure you will regret that comment when I, as Michigan's new AD, name him Head Coach.
|3 days 6 hours ago||Well.||
I like when they play music in the Big House and pump in artificial noise since 35% of the fans just sit there the entire game. You know, the music and noise that 17 year old recruits actually want to hear. I am sure they did not do much of that in 1955.
|3 days 12 hours ago||Really really like them.||
I really like them. Of course, I am not a 70 year old Michigan fan who wants the stadium experience to be the same as it was in 1955. I definitely like black cleats more, but this actually looks halfway decent.
|4 days 7 hours ago||Hoping this all works out.||
I have to drive from Dayton (grad school) to South Nashville for a wedding that weekend. The 7 PM ABC start would be fantastic for me. I will be drunk by then and inevitably thinking about how bad the drive back on Sunday will suck.
|4 days 7 hours ago||AND...||
Might I add how poor of a decision Henry would have made if he is in fact a 5th round pick. I thought he was a 2nd/3rd round projection. Did I miss something?
|4 days 7 hours ago||Call me crazy.||
But by the end of the year, I really feel like Rudock was playing at a 4th round level. 3000 yards, 20 TD's and 9 INT's in a Harbaugh offense (in the Big Ten where the weather is not great)... Sign me up if I am an NFL GM. I think a 6th round pick on Rudock is well worth it.
He is a smart kid. Tough. Dedicated. And he can scramble out of bad situations. He has been through the ringer of THREE quarterback competitions. I am really rooting for him to land in a good situation.
|4 days 8 hours ago||This.||
And the Titans are obviously not very good. Hopefully he can find a role in Philly.
|5 days 2 hours ago||NO!||
This can't be true. He is one of the best in the business.
|5 days 6 hours ago||Interesting||
I started reading the blog back in 2010 during Rich Rod's last season. I had been reading mgorecruit.blogspot.com for a while and stumbled upon MGoBlog from there. Read the site for a while before finally creating an account and the rest is history.
I will say the blog is more enjoyable now than it was during Rich's last season / wheels falling off in the Gator Bowl / Brady Hoke is our guy.

It was the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals. It will be interesting to see if his lawyers seek review by the Supreme Court.
|6 days 6 hours ago||Wow.||
Best hour plus I've spent on a Sunday in quite some time. We have to get back to that. Go Blue!
|1 week 2 hours ago||It never happened obviously lol||
The top level targets were abundant. We just didn't land any other than Kam Chatman who has busted thus far.
|1 week 1 day ago||Hyde.||
I quit reading your comment after "Carlos Hyde has been good when he is not injured." Have you watched Carlos Hyde in the NFL? I have had him in fantasy football, and he has never been good. He is on par with Antonio Andrews. I mean that's great for a guy who went undrafted. The fact of the matter is Thomas "3rd string at Michigan" Rawls has been better than Hyde to this point.
|1 week 1 day ago||Well.||
What is this now -- his 6th Twitter rant in the last year about other teams trying to compete in recruiting with him? The guy gets upset any time anyone talks about him... Tennessee, Nebraska, Michigan, etc. etc.
The fact of the matter is he is a sourpuss who will forever be a position coach because of it. The only way he could possibly ever negative recruit us is by saying, "Oh, yeah. Well Jedd Fisch is going to be a Head Coach in the next three years."
|1 week 2 days ago||Dayton PD||
Dayton PD tweeted out the night before the show was not real, and people responded by posting tickets with the date 4.20.17. It was great.
|1 week 2 days ago||Sad to see.||
Hope for the best for Munger. Health issues are always a concern. We should have no issue running the ball on them this season. Just have to keep their attacking DE's off our QB long enought for Butt, Chesson, and Darboh to find space.
Let's be honest -- the game is in Columbus. It will be tough to win there. But we are more experienced and more talented than them in a NUMBER of important positions. If we get Rudock-like QB play or better, we should beat them in 35-24 type fashion.
|1 week 3 days ago||Yeah.||
I went back and forth on that. I think if JD can run in the 4.5 range he has a shot. If he is closer to 4.6+ then he will be late first rounder. Would love to see him go 4.45 range, but we will just have to wait and see.
