Did you not see the show Washington put on this week against Friendship Academy. He is an elite DE ALL THE WAY! THe kid would come in and make an impact right away at Michigan. He is that good, if Washington wants to come you make a way for him to come. |
| 1 year 38 weeks ago | Bolden |
in my eyes is the best LB ready to play day 1 for us. I also think Ross is ready but he's a little undersized. Bolden has college size right now. I really like that kid |
| 1 year 38 weeks ago | Washington is a MAN |
Washington is a man out there. He is a great DE he plays hard on every play. Man he would have been a great pickup. Taft's offensive line is completely over matched though, they are just to small. Also that DB Tabor for Friendship is doing a great job on Stanford. We need to get on Tabor early he's only a sophmore but has 10 offers already he could be a good one. Taft needs a QB. |
| 1 year 39 weeks ago | Can't Wait |
I can't wait for the season to start. I've been on Youtube watchin old games and player tributes for months it seems. The best part of that video hands down is Marcus Ray poppin David Boston and then when the show Boston all Dazed and Confused. I love that hit |
| 1 year 39 weeks ago | I aree |
Bill Greene is a very good reporter and usually right when it comes to these things. He's very objective too. He was one of the first guys saying that we were going to get alot of top recruits from Ohio this year. |
| 1 year 40 weeks ago | Josh is Rivals |
new midwest recruiting analyst. |
| 1 year 41 weeks ago | Muskegon vs Rockford |
What makes you think Grandville will be good this year? The better game to watch is Muskegon vs Rockford. I believe Juwan Lewis gets a Michigan offer if Dunn doesn't committ. And that is a classic rivalry. |
| 1 year 41 weeks ago | Package Deal??? |
Are you serious when has it ever been stated that T-Rich and Ross are a package deal? Ross seams to be 100% committed to Michigan, T-Rich has never seemed to be that way. And yes they are good friends but i don't ever recall any so called package deal |
| 1 year 41 weeks ago | Stauskis |
I really think Stauskis is going to make a big move up the rankings. That kid is a flat out stud. I have watched many of his films and i think he is going to be a beast in our system. He's an amazing shooter, he can beat you off the dribble. I just love that kids game. You add him with Robinson in that class and then Irvin another lights out shooter, and this team is going to be extremely dangerous and fun to watch for many years to come. |
| 1 year 44 weeks ago | Denard |
I have it for PS3 and i've only played 4 games so far. (all online, I won't play the computer) But Denard hasn't gotten hurt in any game. He hasn't even had to leave the game at all. So i don't know if that injury thing is just an Xbox issue or what? But it hasn't affected my game. Overall i think it's a good game, but key word is GAME. They will never make the game perfect or fix all the bugs. |
| 1 year 45 weeks ago | Ohio is losing it |
Yeah i got banned from the Ohio Recruiting Board on Scout today after telling them how classless their fan base is for the way they talk about Kalis. He's a 17 yr old kid and you should see the things they are saying about him. One guy got mad and said don't generalize the Ohio State fan base off of one poster. But i replied with all the numerous classless things they do and he actually had to agree with me. It was classic. He had nothing to say but "well you back up your argument pretty good, guess your right" I love it. Screw Ohio |
| 1 year 45 weeks ago | Lewis if your |
talking about wanting to fill just a RB position. I think Norfleet is a great talent and would fit in the old system perfectly. But he would be more of a return specialist/situational guy with us now. Not saying that's bad, it would be great to have someone back there who can take it to the house at any time. But i think Lewis is a better fit as a RB in the new system. I think he would actually excel as an I-formation HB. |
| 1 year 45 weeks ago | I like him |
a lot. I saw him in person last year vs Rockford (Ben Braden's school). And He played well. I' ve also seen alot his highlights throughout last year. I think his lack of big time offers comes from the fact he actually plays FB in Muskegon's triple option offense. If he was the HB in a more pro-style or straight spread offense I believe he would have alot more offers. But as far as his skill set i think it's high and he plays against great competition every week. I wouldn't mind adding him to this class. |
| 1 year 46 weeks ago | Dunn |
I have heard also that Dunn is a longshot for us. Not saying we have no shot at all, but the chances of us landing him aren't as high as most of us thought. The word is he had a birthday party over the weekend and had a Ohio State decorated cake. Seems like he might be staying put. |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | Your Wrong |
The reason we look down on the SEC's practice of Grey Shirting is because they are not up front with the players who receive them. They offer kids scholarships and when someone better comes along they force them into a grey shirt or force the kid to find a new school. What Hoke is doing is completely transparent and honest. He has outlined the possibilities to the kid and is giving the kid the chance to make his opinion. If he doesn't want to take the risk of a grey shirt, he is open to go with another school. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this and those who feel uneasy have no reason to at all. |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | Perfect FIt |
I think the Lakers are a perfect for Darius. I think it was a blessing that he was able to fall to him. Congrats and he should be happy! This is basically the Lakers 1st rd pick and they need a PG bad. He has a shot to come in and play right away |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | Not at all |
It's been said multiple times that they like Thurston and Bars just as much as some of the other guys. And they would take their commit if given. Thurston is a 4* with a good offer sheet they would not turn him down. Especially when Peat is a Long shot and Kalis is taking multiple visits |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | I Agree |
I felt the same way when i saw the news he committed. I am not sold that he ends up a Spartan when it's all said and done. But he won't be at Michigan either, we have moved on |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | Plain and Simple |
THey got Strobel who may get us Kalis. That's the guy they wanted and that's who they got |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | Garmon |
I have read a couple of places, one particular Rivals. That Garmon and Michigan seems to not be happening. I don't know who isn't that interested in who. But the two seem to be drifting away. |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | Get your Popcorn ready |
this is going to be very interesting!! |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | Good luck Keenan |
Hope he does well at TTU, should i feel bad that i was actually happy when i saw this. |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | Boy i hope we switch to a 3-4 |
in the near future. Not this year but with the LB's coming in for '11 and '12 i think a 3-4 will suit our personell the best. And I think the 3-4 is a great defense to run |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | No West Coast Schools for Olsen |
Olsen said he only wants to go to a HIGH academic non-west coast school. So that eliminates UCLA, Stanford and Cal. And Florida and Wisconsin are not what he's looking for. The kid values education above everything else. |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | national prospects? |
What makes Bars or Olson not national prospects. Bars has a great offer sheet and Olsen has few offers because he pretty much told everyone he's only looking at high academic non-west schools. Well that eliminates the whole SEC besides Vanderbilt. O-line prospects are hard to evaluate and more than not, high star guys bust and mid ranked guys blossom. Braden and Stacey both may be 4* before the season is over. Regardless of who we get this Oline class will be very good |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | First come first serve |
seems to be the route Hoke is taken. It sounds like Blake Bars is VERY high on us now. Tre Keenan loved his visit and from that interiew Kalis almost sounds like he has one foot out the door of OSU already. Some are saying to hold off on guys like Bars or Keenan. But Bars has offers from PSU, LSU, FLorida, and many others so he's no slouch. We are in on so many top flight Olineman and are going to fill up before some of the guys the posters think we should wait for decide. IMO Hoke and Co. are doing the right thing and they hold all of the Oline guys we are in play with in high regard and would be happy with any of them. Ben Braden is only a 3* right now but could be one of the best lineman we get in this class. Evaluating Oline prospects is hard and we shouldn't just look at stars and rankings as a barometer of talent. |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | Well your gut feeling sucks!! |
Just joking, but what makes you feel that way, when O'brien is saying they are no longer his #1. The coaches have been cooling off on O' brien. But it looks like they have turned up the heat and he may have been waiting for that the whole time. I think he goes Blue! |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | It sounds like O'brien |
is starting to feel the Michigan love again. I will say this O'brien and Pipkins is a nasty 2 man tandem at DT. |
| 1 year 48 weeks ago | Worth the money |
for sure. I'm mad i missed the $50 sale. IMO Two Escobars was the best, followed by The U, Pony Excess and Marcus Dupree. The len Bias and Allen Iverson one's were very good too. |
| 1 year 48 weeks ago | We do have |
to remember these kids still have a whole year of football to play. So those rankings can change drastically. I personally think Washington is the Best of them all in Ohio. And I think Strobel is a great compliment to a Washington or Wormley. One thing this coaching staff is doing is getting pieces that fit the puzzle. They have guys who can play multiple positions and we know Mattison likes to move guys around. If they did in fact back off of Pittman, I believe it was for a good reason. And there is no reason we should get mad with all the success we are having on the recruiting front. Also some have said that Pittman is more suited for OLB than DE. WHere as Wormley or Washington are big DE's who could also play DT! |
