|2 years 27 weeks ago||Pretty impressive||
Considering we only played one game this week and the majority of Hardaway's points came in the 1st half. Nice to see the love our players are getting week in and week out.

This is at the annual MHSFCA coaches clinic in Kalamazoo. It is generally all high school coaches from across the state. Language like this is the norm, as I have sat through many of these clinics over the years. It is nothing, compared to some of the classroom type discussions that go on over the few days up there. Colorful language beware!! Very good time up there though, always look forward to this clinic.
|2 years 27 weeks ago||That is pretty damn funny!||
Expect to see a lot of this in the future I am sure.
|2 years 27 weeks ago||Thank god..||
for the Fab Five. Those shorts Jordan is wearing are awful. Even worse for the Magic player in the background. My god!
|2 years 27 weeks ago||Just go back...||
to Nike. With many other schools across the country dropping Adidas right now, due to some work environment issues in their factories overseas this would be a perfect time to get out of that contract. First it was the jersey issue a few years back for football against Northwestern, and now basketball? Just please make the switch, we can go back to wearing the real "Maize" as Nike is the only outfitter to have our true color perfected as I belive they copyrighted it?
|2 years 28 weeks ago||As great as this is...||
it is great to have this caliber of talent on our team this season and no doubt is the reason for our success. It is just a little frustrating though, to think that without these potentially three players next season we could go through a rebuild again next yr? I do not doubt that the incoming class is very strong with Derrick Walton being the prize of the class. I feel it will just be tough at first to move on in a conference that is only going to get stronger.
|2 years 28 weeks ago||Also||
another thing to note according to a tweet I saw, neither player will start. So, they can be expected after the first media timeout? Real humanitarian of Coach Izzo
|2 years 28 weeks ago||Agree||
We need to hope that Wisconsin can come back down to life a little bit here after the huge win last night. As they were not a team that I had previously expected to be someone to worry about at the end of the season. Meaning, they may knock a team or two off, like last night. Not a team that we had to worry about tying for or competing for the championship out right against, considering we only play them once and on the road.

|2 years 28 weeks ago||Does this have anything to do with Chip Kelly to NFL?||
If yes, I agree with you. These coaches know exactly what they are doing and know that it is wrong. Once they get a small idea that sanctions may be upcomming, they may start looking to bolt. ( i.e. Pete Carroll) There should without a doubt be a penalty, as none of these coaches should be given a higher profile job, for cheating their way to the top.
|2 years 28 weeks ago||They hosted the heritage classic||
If I am not mistaken they played a game in the early 2000's outdoors against Montreal?
|2 years 28 weeks ago||Not so||
Figure the Wings game will start around 1pm, whereas Michigan should be kicking off at the Rose Bowl just a little after 5. Perfect time to go from the Big House to an on campus bar.
|2 years 28 weeks ago||I would have to agree||
The 24/7 series has been awesome for the Winter Classic games the past few seasons. It was fun to see colorful characters like Torts and Bruce Boudreau. Will be real interesting to see how the wings will look behind the scenes, as we have always had a business first mentality.
|2 years 28 weeks ago||Glad to see the NHL doing something right....||
Yes, hockey fans have been screwed this year. Thankfully though, we will not be penalized and they will not move the game elsewhere. The only questions I ask are, 1 Do we really have to allow the OHL be involved in this event? With their SEC like recruiting tatics, I really wish we could remove them from this event. 2. Will Michigan have a goalie that can finish 3 periods?? ( OK i kid about number 2, but seriously!!!!)
|2 years 28 weeks ago||That would make a lot of sense!!||
Nike not really known for producing good clubs. It would make sense that there is a deal in place where Tiger could have his custom shafts made and the manufacturing company allows the swoosh to be placed on them. At a small fee I am sure.....
|2 years 28 weeks ago||Thanks man||
I am not sure why I was being down voted? I am just trying to get back in here and this is a pretty solid topic.
|2 years 28 weeks ago||Not real sure either||
The reason Tiger got to keep his is why I brought this question up? I just wonder if that is standard Nike practice? Or since this is a new age of players coming in, will Nike control the inside and outside of the new bag?
|2 years 28 weeks ago||This is awesome||
Hilarious, one of the funnier things I have seen lately!
|2 years 28 weeks ago||Nike making a push in golf?||
This is i belive the 3rd big signing for Nike golf over the last year as Watney, and another young golfer ( cant think of name) has signed with Nike. I can understand for clothing reasons to switch to Nike, but a little surprised guys would want to potentially switch their clubs? I know Rory has been a Titleist guy, it will be interesting to see if he ditches the Scotty Cameron.
|2 years 28 weeks ago||Rory wearing red?||
Anyone else surprised to see Rory wearing red in this commerical? I guess I am just surprised as Tiger has made this look a trademark on Sunday every tournament he plays in, and is known for his red shirts on championship Sunday.
|2 years 28 weeks ago||Interesting to see if||
Quite possibly he is used as PR/KR during this game? It would give an idea if he has the feel for that type of skill or not? I think many of us can all agree that, as long as he can catch the ball he should be able to play WR. With his speed he could be a weapon on reverses or jet sweeps which are used sparingly in the NFL. He could suceed in the right situation/team as he will be a later round pick, therefore he might get a playoff team to take a chance on him.
|2 years 28 weeks ago||I guess I should have made a better point.||
I feel Sunday was the type of game down the road that will determine whether or not we can be a one seed. Now obviously we can win out and we will be the number one overall seed in the tournament. I was solely just trying to say that in a game like Sunday's it would have been such a huge step towards that one seed as it knocks off a potential conference road loss.I feel we have 2 or 3 more potential road losses. Not saying that they are, just possible. So with that I will agree with your 14-4 record, as long as we dont let that loss on Sunday become a loss on Thursday. Should be real interesting and exciting to see how this team responds to a loss.
|2 years 28 weeks ago||2 seed||
We will probably stay a 2 seed. Sunday was almost a must win to have a shot at the 1 seed. Just hold court at home and win a few big ones on the road and we should be in Auburn Hills for the 1st and 2nd rd.
|2 years 28 weeks ago||Great Points||
Drake has never been that high on Michigan. Which is surprising for a few different reasons. 1. Our basketball program has clearly made huge improvements and 2. We are in need of a solid #1 WR for the years ahead. He would be able to come onto campus and have star potential and impact almost immediately. Webb is alarming for the fact that he goes to Cass. This is not the end of his recrutiment. It would not surprise me one bit if he is to decommit from O$U and commit to us or even an $EC school.
|4 years 34 weeks ago||Stanford AD||
The Stanford AD is doing everything that he can to keep order within his program. None of us should really be surprised that JH has been offered an extension or that he will even sign it. Now what our AD needs to do is make the best logical decision and to keep Coach Rodriguez. Why try to get a guy that 1. may not come here if in fact he wants this extension and 2. what do we do in 2 or 3 years when JH decides the NFL is a better fit for him, as that league will be coming off a lockout. I just hope DB would put this all to rest and stand behind his head coach and keep the man, that will lead us to a Big 10 title and beyond in the next few years to come.
|4 years 36 weeks ago||anywhere outside stadium||
If the two people that need the tickets head towards the stadium anywhere from 30 mins to kickoff or a little after kickoff they will have no trouble getting 2 tickets. Almost all times I have needed extra I've easily found what tickets. And in all instances I have found both tickets in a good price range as well as found tickets in really any section I have hoped for.
|4 years 36 weeks ago||Mich- OSU game||
Am I the only person that wishes this game was a 3:30 kick each and every year??
|4 years 36 weeks ago||Bulletin board material??||
Maybe they should use the fact that they have not beat us in Ann Arbor since 1994?? Part of me for some reason is actually kind of happy that they scored 83 points last week. I see them coming into the big house on Saturday a little over confident and believing that they are going to put up another large amount of points. Now with that they may play a little tight early on and with our defense appearing to play with a little bit of passion for the first time all season, maybe we can continue to get stops and get our offense on the field as quickly and pain free as possible.
